I'm running a business and it makes perfect business sense to do it. This is something CEX needs to fix. And until they do this is going to always happen.
@@TOMS_TAT it really doesn't you wasting time fiddling about with small stuff you think is making you money but its costing you as you could concentrate on bigger matters. Value your time. I have no issues with turning over cex
Enjoying your videos mate. I'm thinking of doing reselling myself but just not sure if it's really worth it profit wise, thinking I might aswell get a 9-5 and end up with the same money in the bank with less hassle lol.
Up to you what you do but doing this is the best decision I've ever made. I'm earning as much as I was earning doing carpentry but now I have no boss, I dont have to get stuck in traffic every morning and most importantly I enjoy it. It is a lot of work but well worth it IMO.
@@TOMS_TAT Good to hear that mate. I can see you work hard and I think people underestimate how much work is involved. Must be great having no boss though definitely a positive. Is there anywhere I can message you?
Cheers Fella - The item is a peach and thanks again for the Mario Collectible. Will do a unboxing video as soon as I sort through all my weekend sales and stock!
I think some sellers on Ebay undercut the true value sometimes and things still sell a little higher, some people are just in a rush and don't check what things sell for anyway, if it looks tidy like your wii, it's a catch!
I think karma is more concerned about things that hurt people. Taking a manual from a game isn't exactly the crime of the century but I get what your saying.
I don't think it's morally wrong to take a manual from a game. Some people might not like it but it's not hurting anyone. At the end of the day I have to look at it from a business perspective. It's a problem that CEX needs to address. If their not giving me money for the manual why should I give it to them when I can get money for it elsewhere? It makes perfect business sense.
Totally agree with your thoughts on CeX. It’s their responsibility to check things. If they did their job correctly then you wouldn’t be able to trade them in. Totally agree with the manuals too. CeX has a poor policy on manuals. But the flip side is you can find a boxed discounted console for discounted price. Just because of a slight scratch.
It is annoying when I want the buy a game from cex and the manual is missing, if that happens I just wont buy it. But it makes perfect business sense for me to keep the manuals until they change their policies. If they are not paying me for the manual why would I give it to them when I can get money for it elsewhere?
You can either try install it and see if it needs a code, coz some games don't need a code. Or you can sell it as it is and just explain in the listing the code has been used. As you can buy game key codes for the games cheaply online.
Yea, I'm saving up to buy a decent disc resurfacing machine. But paying to get someone else to do them isn't cost effective with the amount of them I need to do.
Great vid mate, but I wouldnt chuck anything a way, someone will always buy it and use gloves for isoprapol.
I know it's definitely been sold now but one of the Lego minifigs you had in that job lot was worth about £200!!!
No way!
loving these videos what auctions do you go to ?
Great video, Tom 😊
Thanks! :)
Not hate but I think knowingly removing the manuals is gaming it a bit too hard to be honest
Fair point.
I think it makes perfect business sense to do it.
Taking manuals out of trade ins is next levels of grimness

An honest video, FULL of value - many thanks Tom!
I think it’s just a way of maximising your income mate
What is?
Great tip about the manuals

No worries. glad it's gone to a good home!
The xbox 360 controllers cex will still take and deduct 50p for missing backs
Really? Thanks for the tip!
Good channel i only found out two days ago. will like and subscribe to your channel too. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the sub! Glad your enjoying the content!
Great video with good tips but it killed me seeing you bin perfectly good pc games 😂
I end up with so many of them but nobody wants them and there not worth anything. They just take up space.
@@TOMS_TAT completely agree mate just hurts watching good games meeting their fate 😂
Those wireless ps3 singstar mics I sold with the little bag for £28 so look out for that!
Might be worth putting on eBay then. Cheers
Cex don't take batteries for controllers and not bothered bout back covers
Really? I'm sure they have not taken controllers without covers from me before.

Great vid bud, when eBay do a 70% percent off selling fees is it worth relisting items to take advantage of it ?
Not sure tbh mate.
Yes 100% worth re listing
Ignorance or they dont care so why should i care......... isnt the decent thing to do.......... Karma will bit you in the arse one day

Great vid cheers, watch your eyes cleaning things with toothbrushes, particularly leaked old battery acid 👓
Spot on advice. Neutralise the battery acid with the white vinegar then clean with IPA.
Yea it works really well.
some good cleaning tips there Tom and good info regarding CEX
Thanks!
Definitely think Christmas is a good time for Wii’s - I need to get mine sold, some good tips there with the cleaning! :)
With pre-owned PC games mate how do you know which ones you can sell? If they're linked to a Steam account they won't work.
You can either try install it and see if it needs a code, coz some games don't need a code. Or you can sell it as it is and just explain in the listing the code has been used. As you can buy game key codes for the games cheaply online.
You can resurface the heavily scratched Discs for linke 2 Pounds or less

Enjoy these day in the life type videos. The Lego washing was genius 👏🏼
Yea those wash bags worked a treat!
See more day in the life just strap up and go 😉💯😂
