Tom absolutely amazing video mate and learned some new tips on eBay especially on them cars and it does prove it's always worth looking up on everything.
I don’t make as much money as you. This video has given me ideas about bundles though! Good to know that I’ve always been doing something right with my cropping of photos. Keep up the great content! 👍
Yea, you can do it like that. I've actually bought a propper infa red tester now. I'm going to stop being lazy and test them all and sell individually. Much more money to be made.
Yeah also works with Wii sensor bars. I had someone complain about a sensor bar not working with a wii console (no controller included). He bought a new one and it still didn't work, so he blamed me for a faulty console 😐
hi, suggestion - take photos of the items in square format, especially the main photo, that way it will be the full size on the listing advert instead of with white bars around it, thats what I do anyways works well and saves having to crop it
When i take portrait I crop the top and bottom too aha. But I've been told to take the pics in 1:1 ratio and ive been doing it today and it's working well without cropping anything.
I always crop my first image to 1:1 on ebay listing page, edit the brightness to around 20 depending, and contrast to around 10 unless unless the item has any black. If the photo is not cropped at 1:1, sometimes ebay will zoom in the photo itself to fill the 1:1 box and it will affect the viewer photo e.g. a zoomed in video game may hide the PS2 line at the top and throw off the click through rate, or it will show less of a large bundle of cars.
Great video. With pics I just use ‘square’ setting and 2.5 zoom for small items. No need to crop, do a lot quicker.
Yeh just crop it in camera when you are taking it.
Agreed - You will save a lot of faff and time. Love your set up, so clean and tidy.
Cracking content again. Watching you trying to get through the door with all the packaging was very amusing! 😂
The other scalectrics car was on the track when u tried testing so it wouldn't work...as both on same lane

Happy to help!
16:38 made me giggle when you couldn't get the bag through the door

Tip on how to check remote controls is open your mobile phone camera and fire each button at the camra and you should see a flashing light if working.

my job :(@@TOMS_TAT
Just list Sony, Bose and other big brands individually and make sure you put genuine in the title, some can fetch massive money for a simple remote.
@@Fazzers Technics controllers I've sold for upto £40 before.
To test TV remote you can just pointless it towards your camera and if you see a red light flash it works
the Carrera slot cars are worth good money too, and the track parts sell separately parted out.

just noticed other people have commented the same, proves it does work haha
Yes I have started doing that now. Much quicker.
Great videos, very informative What thermal label printer are you using? if can share the Model number please
Where do you clean your items? Everything looks so clean and tidy.
Another great vid mate
Tbh i wasn't filming when cleaning stuff but I should of.
Is this all listed now? I can’t seem to find the red PlayStation controller
I think Anki Overdrive cars are used on a track like Scalextric.
I enjoy your video very much
Glad to hear it!
Didn't hear the disc machine in the background i just heard moneyyyy 😂👌🏼
Hi mate looking for a disc cleaner where did you get you’re from ? Cheers thanks for the vid!
Total disc repair.
Remotes can be tested using the camera function on your mobile fone, lots of videos on youtube. Hope that's helpful 👍
Yea I've actually bought an inferred tester and i am going to test them and sell individually instead. much more money to be made.
@@TOMS_TAT Nic Hills made a video a few years ago using his fone to test remotes quick easy and it's free 😁 keep up the content great channel.
I was thinking about that n64 bundle, but decided a bit too far away. A great bargain.
I agreed to buy it 2 weeks ago but then the guy backed out. he didn't want to sell it ahah. But it went back up again today so i snapped it up.
What machine do you use for the disc refinishing?
TDR Eco Clever
Getting better and better, Tom.
Thank you!
What's the dims of your neon logo on your shed wall Tom?
Dims?
@@TOMS_TAT the dimensions , width - length - height,
Unrelated question. Just wondered how the tax works on the items you purchase from CeX with voucher and sell on eBay?
The amount you paid for stuff you traded into cex can be put down as an expense. Then you pay tax on the profit after selling on ebay.
have you noticed on mobile when checking completed listings on ebay you cant click into the listing anymore.
I do get that sometimes. But not always
If you take your photos in portrait mode it will save you time in cropping photos

Whats the name of the app your using for searching them and the prices?
CEX
nice load from that subscriber. how do you get all your stock?
Carboots, facebook, auctions and contacts.
With things like scalextric cars, trains etc, i just test using a 9v battery.
How do you do that? I have a bunch of trains that need testing.
Great vid Tom - bit of a tip… try changing your ratio on the camera to 1:1 (square)…. Might save a bit of cropping? Keep up the good work
Thanks for the tip!
Omg I never even thought of doing that, genius! 👍
So I hear you said you're not vat registered? But as a business seller, doesn't ebay automatically take a tax cut? How does it work?
No. ebay now sends records to hmrc. They don't take tax. You have to pay it yourself.
Grest video Tom. It's always a good day for you when you get more copies of your favourite game - Simpsons: Hit & Run. 😄
I always crop my first image to 1:1 on ebay listing page, edit the brightness to around 20 depending, and contrast to around 10 unless unless the item has any black.

The guy that sold you all this stuff after watching this-🤮
He could of put it all on eBay himself if he wanted to do all the work involved.
Great video. With pics I just use ‘square’ setting and 2.5 zoom for small items. No need to crop, do a lot quicker.
