Natalie Handley surely you get what he means. Usually when renewing your vows you aren’t looking at a full on wedding gown. More of an evening dress, usually it would be lighter and have more movement than a wedding gown. Which is why not one of the dresses he gave her was the full on princess skirt style dresses. However she wanted to do the whole bride thing again which isn’t the norm. It’s why her mum didn’t like the dress with the train. Her daughter wasn’t getting married, she’s already had the wedding.
Kalinna Vyacheslavovna you knew what I meant. David wasn’t sure with which direction to go on because usually a bride renewing her vows would,d not want a traditional wedding gown
I think that Sue noticed that even with high heels on or a different size, unless the person doing alterations to the pink dress cut off 4 or 5 inches of the bottom of the dress in the front, the bride would be stepping on the gown all night and if they shortened it, the dress would not look as good. It was really a gown for a taller woman with even higher heels. You can see how much material is hanging off the front of the platform as the bride is standing there. Tip for brides, stand on the flat floor when looking in the mirror, not on the raised platform. The platform gives an illusion of height and skirt length that is not reality.
@@gardenplots283 You do realize that wedding gowns are custom made, and that dress will be made according to her exact measurements (including height). So no, it will not be too long and bunched on the floor on her vow renewal day
The pinkish dress was absolutely beautiful. I hate when brides let their family/friends decide for them. Even if it’s not her wedding again, it’s still her day.
No I don't think so, when you see into it they're giving the bride low price first and high and higher until they reach the wild cards, I think the shoper like the unlimited budget so they'll not have to think about the budget and it's hard to find something that bride like and it's has to be under budgets, if it's unlimited they just have to choose something that the bride likes and also not have to worry about budget and burden the bride if they can't afford the dress, that's why an unlimited budget are something that's everyone likes lmao
cat ears I don't see why you'd hate that. It's normal to want your closest loved ones opinions on something you consider to be a big deal, but then of course obviously when it comes down to it your opinion is the most important and you'll be the one making the final decision but it is nice and sometimes helpful for that input tho they shouldn't decide for you
I took my son dress shopping, he was 4 at the time. I had him pick out dresses and I tried on every dress he picked and the final dress he picked out for me was perfect. Bought it that day.. Bonus was that all of the dresses he picked out for me were 1K+, we didn't look at any of the prices until we were completely done and the final dress was $138.00
I really dislike when someone in the group puts their preferences above the brides. She was clearly happiest in the 3rd, why rain on her parade? She looked great in all of them!
Oh my goodness!! That last pink dress is amazing, one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen. I would totally wear that!!! Just breathtaking and marvelous!!!! 😍😍😍😍
It was breathtaking. What annoyed me was her entourage saw the sparkle in her eyes & attitude when she had the gown on. She wanted to please her stepmother & I was annoyed when she mentioned wanted to cut the train off.
3rd dress, blush pink shoes, headband with the train coming from the back of the neck with blush detail in the headpiece. Hands down that 3rd dress is stunning on her!
Back in the day it was meant to be bad luck for the groom to turn around when the bride walked down the aisle! Guess no-one really cares about the superstition anymore!:)
Frances Griffiths it’s definitely a thing, if you’ve ever watched a royal wedding you will notice that the groom does not look at the bride. I think Prince Harry was the first to break this rule, but considering he was already breaking a number of rules with his choice of bride in the first place I don’t suppose they were being all that traditional. I’ve never known a registrar make someone follow that tradition though.
Can we please take a moment to appreciate what a fabulous body she has. I mean , Damn, she Di not even need a pin to pull the dress up, all the dresses fit her like a glove and she is been married for 20 years. Wow.
Camila dos Santos i liked the straps, strapless looks bad and weird on a lot of people tbh i don't get the obsession cause unless you have cute little shoulders and good posture then strapless isn't your best look
Bambi c I so agree, I think twenty years down the line we will look back at the strapless hype and think: wow, that really didn’t suit everyone who tried it. First thing I told my consultant after she asked me for my preferences, was: get me anything but strapless. And she obeyed ;)
@@bambi7563 I'm not a fan of strapless dresses myself (I plan on having sleeves), but I feel like the straps made her chest look long and that strapless flattered her personal aesthetic more
I hate when it abruptly ends and we don’t get that satisfaction of knowing which dress (if any) she choose. It’s frustrating! 🤨 I hope she ended up choosing the dress that she truly loved (the coloured skirt one) and not settled for the one her stepmother liked. 🤞
Sorry but the cobwebs was hideous 😕 The 1st and 3rd were pretty😍 Thank God she bought her sister and friend. The mother was a bit over bearing like no i like the cobwebs even though the bride liked the 3rd dress. You could tell if the other girls weren't there to support her in pressure she would have bought the 2nd dress😥 I somehow don't like the step mom i don't know her but somehow the vibe isn't loving from her i could be wrong
So excited to see this. Her blush dress looks almost like the one I chose so it’s really nice to see the style and color on someone who isn’t the online model. ❤️ I looked gorgeous on her and I can’t wait to wear mine. 🙌🏾❤️
my crush is half british and politeness is very important for his family, i wish i could do it like this bride but forcing myself to be polite is quite hard because i'm very straightforward with everything i say
Dress 1: looked traditional to me. Dress 2: they said it was v different and then they said it’s classic? Both dresses were basic. Dress 3: the wildcard is the one ☝🏽
The fact that the 'mom' wanted to cut off the train for the pink gown shows that she is not comfortable with her daughter wanting to feel like a bride. And give her husband the wow of seeing her come down the aisle. For shame.
I hate that they are all discouraging her from a wedding dress coz it's 20 years on as David's keeps saying. If she wants a wedding dress then so be it 😔
Omg the mother didn’t like the pink dress cause of the trail and she said she wants to snip it off but she liked the other dress and it literally had a trail??!!😂🙄
David: "She's renewing her vows, but she wants to look like a bride. That's not going to be easy."
David: *is in a bridal shop*
😂😂😂😂

She seemed to not want too bridal dress and she also had fallen in love with the second dress.
Florence Trg Most are but not all. There are wedding dress shops which you buy the dresses off the pegs e.g. Wed2b

“Something I didn’t have 20 years ago” - she looks about 30 was she 10 when she got married?!? She’s stunning
Lol
About 35 to me, but I was wondering the same thing...
And her figure is great!!!
I think she's in her 40's but took really good care of her skin and body. She is beautiful
Lol.. that's what I thought too
She is seriously the most humble, nice and level headed bride ive seen on this show
Because she's actually been married for a while and she's gone through a wedding before
They really love it when the budget's unlimited don't they
edit: this was just rhetorical pls stop taking it seriously
Namjoon'sHER [MONO] who doesn’t? Maybe when you’re old enough to understand the value of a dollar you’ll understand their excitement...

I think so since they almost always break the bride’s budget in the UK one 😒🙄
She looked 10 years younger in that 3rd dress wow.
love the first and pink dress, they were super flattering on her body
It's been 3 years and that pink gown is still GORGEOUS
The client was so sweet.
wow her body looks amazing after all these years
She's not 75.
Joan Aguilar yeah she looks absolutely incredible
Joan Aguilar I cant believe nobody talked about how she was the perfect size for the dresses lol they didn’t have to pin or stretch anything
I hate it when they don't finish a 5 plus minute video/episode it annoys me
Evie, I love your profile picture! I use that one for a lot of my profile pics too! ( not this UA-cam channel though)
me too
Finally, some genuinely gorgeous dresses.... the pink one was a show stopper, I think I've found my dream dress....

The pink one looked so much better on her body compared to the spiderweb doily one
Unpopular opinion I didn't like the second dress. It did not fit as well as the first!
