this has got to be one of my favourite episodes! it’s like the consultant couldn’t really find the right dress and the best friends just kinda take it into their own hands in the cutest way. they knew her so well and found exactly what she wanted, i mean the reactions she had to the first two dresses compared to the ones her friends picked out for her were just night and day! she looked so happy and glowing and that honestly made her and the dress that much more beautiful. such a sweet episode!
This was so wholesome, even when the one bridesmaid had her 'selfish' moment. It wasn't that bad and she was honest and open about why, and seemed to have an understanding from that point that the dress would NOT be picked. She literally just wanted to see her friend in a more ballgown like wedding dress before actually moving on to picking out the *actual* dress. So, wholesome and just, so, respectful even when she made the request kinda for herself. And I don't blame her for it, they were *all ready* in that store and it was just a 'try this different style real quick I just wanna see.' Then she was like 'yeah, no you're right, it's not you.' It's so wholesome because the bride isn't a bridezilla, and the bridesmaid's don't try and take over, even if they ask to see certain things, just for the sake of seeing it. They have a good friendship I think.
I love the brides entourage, they were respectful towards her, they didn't say anything negative about the dresses or her at all. They were all for her and what made her happy. This is an entourage of friends worth keeping and holding on to and never losing touch with each other.
No, real friends would’ve been honest and told her the dress wasn’t flattering and instead helped her find a dress that complimented her shape and looked amazing, this dress did the opposite.

The second sentence is not up to you to decide and the first sentence is just mean. Someone didn't raise you right.
crazy how we were telling every one to #bekind months ago and here we are, judging her dress, her eyebrows.... if she likes it then she can wear what she wants. sad to see it
i really couldn't give a fuck less about her eyebrows but when you have literal back rolls, no i don't think it looks good to put on a fully open-back dress. you could see the impressions from her bra straps ffs, is that what she wants people paying attention to when she walks down the aisle? difference between this show and shows like curvy brides boutique is that the latter actually acknowledges what flaws a bride needs to compensate for and does so.
dietotaku the shop is more than likely to alter her dress to fit her properly, we don’t know 🤷♀️ maybe she doesn’t have an issue with showing off her skin which some of us would be too afraid to show! Hats off to her if that is the case. Her happiness is all the matters.

The bride is a lovely woman. Her friends were truly supportive, and gave constructive feedback. I did not think the final dress flattered her, however she was happy, and it was her vision of what she wanted on her wedding day.

True friends! They really wanted to see her happy and everyone left with happy tears and a gorgeous dress within budget! Loved it but just wished they would've given her a longer veil to picture the wedding day instead of the shorter one. Nevertheless, I got happy tears randomly too.
I've seen episodes like that, where the entourage is really mean, so she walks out on them and doesn't get a dress that day. I saw another one where she just couldn't make a decision, so left, maybe to come back another day. I like when they toss in those realistic episodes sometimes. :)
This is a lovely, confident bride with equally supportive friends. No one, especially no one in the comment section, has the right to judge her, or her friends
it's good to let the experts help you to pick a dress. That's why they're there. They know the stock, what looks good on different body shapes and can help scattered brides find the dress of their dreams.
I like how comfortable the bride is with her body...I go into panic mode if I see back love handles when trying clothes. She is amazing and love her attitude and that of her friends.
I feel that... We are all so conditioned by bullshit "beauty standards" and policing by people who will jump at the chance to criticize someones looks. It was refreshing to see a group of friends who think a woman can be beautiful without looking like an airbrushed, 21 year old pop star. She had some lovehandles and some bumps down her hips. Big deal. She looks amazing with that confidence, I wish I had that
The bride is beautiful and so are her friends. Friends are critical but honest. Brides can be all sizes (though in my country they all go through extreme diet so they all look skinny slim for the d day.) It's so nice they got all sizes of dresses. It might not exist here in Korea. I love what the friends picked for her!
Ok so it wasn't flattering but her mates tuned in to the fact that she loved it & supported her in that. That's got to count for something surely. She feels great. That's the goal. Lovely friends.
Those dresses weigh a TON. You don't notice when you're wearing it, but I needed both hands to carry my dress and was struggling to raise it above my head (to hang it up high post wedding). Even my husband found it surprisingly heavy. I don't blame the consultants, 'cause carrying that stuff around is a workout!
i really wish these boutiques would make more use of dropped waists. are they that out of fashion or something? just so many times when someone needs a compromise between ballgown and slinky clingy nightgown i'm screaming DROPPED WAIST and it never comes.
dietotaku would the first dress she tried (the ballgown) be considered a drop waist? It was fitted down to the tops of her hips instead of stopping at her waist.
She was happy with her choice.t hough the dress was not for her but her friends understand her feelings.it was clear from their faces that they didn't like the dress but appreciating it for her friend wish.

The bride looked absolutely lovely in all the dresses, but you can really really tell how happy she was in the last dress versus the others ones 🥺 It always warms my heart because it shows that a person being happy and confident in their dress makes the dress itself 10x lovelier and gives the bride her glow 🥰

That 3d one is totally her. Did y’all see that smile when she turned to see herself? Once it’s fitted and she’s wearing her accessories, I bet it looks stunning af.
Omgg their friendship is so precious. I love how supportive and nice they are. This makes me wanna have besties
I dont like their acting "who's my bride"!! You already know. Gok is so precious he welcomes the bride with full arms
@Ankie. com lol how does Gok know? because they don't start filming as you walk in. You go in, you introduce yourself, you wait for the crew to get ready and for cameras to be set up, and then it begins. Gok's version doesn't waste time pretending he doesn't know the bride, and so can David's version!
It’s a SCRIPTED television show…
The consultant seemed a bit annoyed when the friends wanted to pick something out for their friend.
I noticed that. I think she shows a lot of bad attitude at times
I used to work in a dress shop, many years ago. And I have to tell you, unless you've walked a mile in her shoes, don't criticize. There is nothing worse than the entourage pulling dresses...most of them have no idea what they're doing. And you never know how many dresses they pulled and she tried on because this is a tv show and they get to edit and post what they like.
@@Summer97_ Except she isn't picking the dresses out herself. Her friends are. Go work in a dress shop sometime and see how that works out for ya.
@@loriminnesota1870 but we're still paying thousands of dollars for a dress , we want to try out more because your making a difficult and important decision
Every. Damn. Time!
Now, that is an example of a healthy friendship!
The fact that they had to put in "Way under Budget" on the title of a UK episode, lmao
Exactly!
this has got to be one of my favourite episodes! it’s like the consultant couldn’t really find the right dress and the best friends just kinda take it into their own hands in the cutest way. they knew her so well and found exactly what she wanted, i mean the reactions she had to the first two dresses compared to the ones her friends picked out for her were just night and day! she looked so happy and glowing and that honestly made her and the dress that much more beautiful. such a sweet episode!
To those making negative comments about the bride's appearance, It's NOT YOUR WEDDING. The Bride Is The One Getting Married, NOT YOU.
and if you would let your friend walk down the aisle with every lump and bump on show shame on YOU!
I’m disappointed that she didn’t try on that other dress that her friends picked out for her. I think it would have looked amazing.
Absolutely love how when the gals went looking for a dress they only put what the bride wanted in their mind
That's the difference between bringing friends and family. Family tend to have so many ideas.
Kind of fed up with the consultant honestly. Expecially after the second dress she seemed to be quite irritated and impatient.
The dress is not really my style, but i love it on this girl. She shines in it, look how happy she is.
And the way she's not afraid of showing her curves? Amazing.
Im a plus size and i wish I'll be able to be this confident one day
you'd look gorgeous as long as you felt happy in it. hope you wear whatever you feel comfortable and happy in without being unnecessarily jabbed with people's opinions.
She looked like she was poured into it. The friends stirred her wrong. The dress didn't compliment her figure.
@@joycepino9749 A comment like this proves you're not a very nice person. Say things in a constructive manner or don't say them at all.
The only part of your comment worth anything (if I'm really trying) is if you redid the last part only and said: "I don't think the dress complimented her figure."
And when you see it like that you realize it's absolutely meaningless at the end of the day, cause you're not the bride.
@@dietotaku right fitted bra will change that easily
I will always judge someone’s eyebrows I can’t help it. It’s the first thing I notice about someone and it’s compulsive 😂 all bodies are beautiful tho. Nobody should be commenting on her body.
Its bc the people who #bekind don't actually know what kindness is
the consultant seemed so insulted when they said that the back was too busy! I mean, it's their opinion no need to react like that
So unprofessional
However, the bride SPECIFICALLY ASKED for a stunning back…
@@conservativeeducator3696 LITTERALLY. I work in sales, and it is honestly so hard sometimes :(. You give people everything they ask for, yet somehow it is all wrong. It is a very draining and tiring job. I don't think people understand how much shit we go through!!! I agree that it was unprofessional for her to pull a face, but I honestly don't blame her after a long day
They could have edited out her snippish remark.
Yes in a world so sensitive 🙄.
She chose right dress for her, looked absolutely confident and gorgeous ❤️.
You think so. As a Sale fashion consultant, poor choice. Not the right dress at all.
Katrina’s friends are awesome. I like that they’re focusing on what she likes rather than what they like for her.
Finally, a group of friends who have the bride's best interest at heart instead of their own agenda!
What a lovely group of friends - honest but supportive and they understand what the bride is looking for!
Some supportive and smoothing undergarments are a must when trying on bridal gowns…it makes all the difference when you don’t see knicker lines and bra straps etc
This episode shows how much that dress brings out the Queen in this lady!
I think she looks stunning. Everyone should have friends like that!
In case anyone is wondering , i searched to see if she wore this dress at her wedding and she did. She lost ALOT of weight, there weren’t clear pictures due to privacy but you could see a mile away she lost a lot of weight for this dress. She looked beautiful!
thanks for the update!
Hmmm... from the video clip she posted herself on her Twitter page.... I would disagree.
I don't believe she lost weight for her wedding.... more like the dress was actually sized right and altered to fit her perfectly as she was.
twitter.com/KatrinaFagg/status/902620160552566785?s=09
She does look much more slim
Then, that makes all the difference. Maybe that was her intention all along (it is for many brides 😊).
Im so happy. I loved her and the dress was beautiful but i felt she needed a size up.
She looks so happy, that’s how you know it’s THEE dress. Many blessings to your future marriage love!
I like the attitude of her friends and how they understand that this day is for the bride.
They criticized the dresses that flattered her. They complimented the dress that did not look good on her. Not friends...
Ultimately.. it’s her day, her way. She’s the one who has to love the dress. I absolutely admire her body confidence bc I know already I’d be way too self conscious to wear the dress she chose.. which just means it wouldn’t be the dress for me but it suits her well bc she loves it. 👍🏼 😊 💐
I'm so glad this bride was able to look past the sample size issues, and see that the dress would look amazing on her once it's in the right size :-)
She has good friends, they were respectful.
The back on the second dress was so beautiful! 😍
Very sweet friends she has, they found exactly what she wanted
The bride is a lovely woman. Her friends were truly supportive, and gave constructive feedback. I did not think the final dress flattered her, however she was happy, and it was her vision of what she wanted on her wedding day.
I wish I had friends like hers. They were all genuinely happy for the bride and picked out the most flattering dress.
This is so far the best wedding dress shopping I’ve ever seen. I just love that there is no drama like it would be if she came here with her in-laws. Just by seeing this episode I’m also thinking to go wedding dress shopping with my besties lmao. I’m so happy and touched by this episode I don’t even know why.
Friends like these are amazing: no agenda in their opinions or suggestions, honest but respectful, happy without malice, and actually seeming to want the very best for her ❤
True friends! They really wanted to see her happy and everyone left with happy tears and a gorgeous dress within budget! Loved it but just wished they would've given her a longer veil to picture the wedding day instead of the shorter one. Nevertheless, I got happy tears randomly too.
I loved this group, they all seem like very nice people and truly appreciative of each other
I really want to see someone say NO to the dress
I've seen episodes like that, where the entourage is really mean, so she walks out on them and doesn't get a dress that day. I saw another one where she just couldn't make a decision, so left, maybe to come back another day. I like when they toss in those realistic episodes sometimes. :)
There is, she looked nice but when they asked the question she said no... lol. It’s in say yes to the dress UK i think
I've seen it! UK version
@@JodiLeaSnakeQueen really? I'm gonna go check it out
@@coldclearblue6350 wow ok I'll go see thank you
This is a lovely, confident bride with equally supportive friends. No one, especially no one in the comment section, has the right to judge her, or her friends
it's good to let the experts help you to pick a dress. That's why they're there. They know the stock, what looks good on different body shapes and can help scattered brides find the dress of their dreams.
If only every brides entourage was as supportive as this one...
Big deal. She looks amazing with that confidence, I wish I had that
Friends that really loved the bride. Very supportive.
The amount of body posivity in this video is everything, she's gorgeous
Yes, so you could say
I’m glad she got her dream dress…every bride is beautiful on her wedding day!
The first dress... she feels like she _lost_ her curves? She's showing a gorgeous hourglass figure in that one !!
If she loses weight the dress will look great.
@@albasalvat9101 She already looks great.
She looks beautiful, so glad she chose that one. Best wishes!
I'm surprised to see the consultants dragging white dresses across the floor. They much have staff constantly sweeping the floors.
I was thinking the same thing lol
That and they’re just sample dresses. They have real ones be made
Even if its the sample no one wants to try on a dirty dress!
Same!!!😆
An A line dress would have looked gorgeous on her. She seems happy so that's all that matters
i really wish these boutiques would make more use of dropped waists. are they that out of fashion or something? just so many times when someone needs a compromise between ballgown and slinky clingy nightgown i'm screaming DROPPED WAIST and it never comes.
I feel like your compliment was a little eh lol They will end up alternating everything so the dress will definitely fit her better.
dietotaku would the first dress she tried (the ballgown) be considered a drop waist? It was fitted down to the tops of her hips instead of stopping at her waist.
AGREED!
Whew, a lot of these comments absolutely don't pass the vibe check
That first dress looked amazing on her!
the consultant is soo beautiful
Lovely! What dear friends the bride is blessed with. Honest, kind and supportive.❤
The first dress, the ball gown, was the most flattering to her shape.
That dress looked awful but the ball gown would of suited her better.
You are so beautiful and lucky cuz you have a great relationship with your friends and they're all help to each other.
So... by dramatic back, they mean backless 😝 bcoz the second dress back is stunning.
So special that her friends chose that dress
She was happy with her choice.t hough the dress was not for her but her friends understand her feelings.it was clear from their faces that they didn't like the dress but appreciating it for her friend wish.
Her smile n confidence is something special!
She is blessed with good friends
Its very teaching to see how human can see something that different.. really amazing..
The bride is lovely and so cute. ❤️ I do not agree with her friends's choice of dress though.
The bride is beautiful and beaming, happy for her!!
she's so pretty omg
The 1st dress fitted her better, it gave her body the hourglass shape.
I am sorry but the dress is not doing it for her. But if she love it go for it! 🥳
I agree. Looks like a cheap costume on her. Specially below waist
@@neelampal4955 yep
I agree.
Her friends are golden! They supported and ended up picking some options that she wanted.
It's not tearing someone down to do the work needed to sell the most perfect dress for EVERY customer.
This is my fav episode! Finally the bride has nice, non selfish friends who actually put efford in making the bride the best version of herself instead of the usual negativity like in most episoded
I think it's the right dress, she only needs to order it a size up! Remember these are sample dresses, I'm sure the final one looked just fine 😉. Also, for the looks of the pics of the people delivering such nasty comments on her figure...
Also tight dresses need shape wear. That should really help the curves out.
Deal with different opinions. If you cant. Dont be on UA-cam.
@@iberlo85 oh, I totally can deal with different opinions! What I can't deal with is rudeness and people trashing others behind the anonymity of a screen and a user name.
It seems, whoever, that you didn't like my opinion! Can you deal with mine? 😉
Her confidence level and happiness just boosted with the last dress. Clearly what she wanted.
Sometimes you can have the right dress .. But the wrong fit , sometimes you can have the right fit but the dress is wrong.
Your wedding dress should make you feel like a queen for the day . The bride clearly felt like queen and that's all that matters . I just hope she can be realistic about the fit ...and find some little tricks all of us women have in order to make our outfits look their best on our (all) bodies . Congratulations !
Agreed! Well said! I’m sure the alterations she chooses to fit her exact shape instead of the original sample size will make a huge difference as well!!
Love this! What a supportive group and lovely bride ❤️❤️
There's a difference between being honest, and having differing tastes. I agree if something looks bad, like showing bulges etc it needs to be addressed but not just because it's not what you would prefer for them. It's their day .
The bride looked absolutely lovely in all the dresses, but you can really really tell how happy she was in the last dress versus the others ones 🥺 It always warms my heart because it shows that a person being happy and confident in their dress makes the dress itself 10x lovelier and gives the bride her glow 🥰
Why in the world would you want to wear a dress that’s so unflattering? Her friend’s should’ve been honest with her and helped her find a dress the complimented her figure, this dress did the opposite, I imagine she’d be very unhappy once she saw the wedding photos.
@@bellabana You can imagine all you want, doesn't make it real. Is there really no part of you that thinks maybe, just MAYBE her friends were being honest because somewhere in the world there are people who just might see things differently to you?
I love this group, they have their opinuon but everyone agreed on one thing, its the bride day
She's happy, and she loves the dress... makes me love it too!!!
She is beautiful in her own way. She is confident and that's what makes her beautiful. U look gorgeous girl.
I wanna have supportive friends like this
This is a sample dress and therefore does not fit her well. The dress will be ordered in her correct size and tailored to her body. Also, she will wear the proper undergarments as well and then the back will sit smoothly on her frame. Chill out critics!!!
