As a Kenyan who has undergone the 844 system, Kenya's education system is the hardest and the most fucked up system. I don't think getting a fake certificate from the university would be easy unless you go make fake certificates from the streets of Nairobi or somewhere else. But seriously, do we Kenyans care about this ban? I'm not even sure if Kenyan professionals would be going to Nigeria to look for job opportunities.
The issue here is that this will discourage Nigerian students from studying in Kenya and Uganda. Nigerian students are known to contribute significantly to foreign economies with high standard of education.

So the worst scammers in Africa are Banning degrees from countries with some of the best educations in Africa? I studied in Kenya for College. Nairobi University, USIU, Nazarene, Catholic University, Jomo Kenyatta University, Strathmore, Multi Media, etc they were all very good universities. In Uganda I don't know many apart from Makelele, Methodic, etc but when it comes to high school, they have some of the hardest and best education system. Uts quite simple when someone brings a degree from a certain University, you can contact them and find out if they really graduated from there.

I really do agree with you as a Somalia 🇸🇴 medical student at Mbarara University of science and technology I know a lot Somali government officials who have never been to Uganda 🇺🇬 but they are holding masters degrees from the so called the best private university in Uganda( will you believe it’s ranked no.2 or 3 in every year after Makerere and sometimes Mbarara) and many other private institutions.

This is exactly why Africa as a continent needs a regional accreditation body that is continent wide like the regional accreditation bodies in the US. Schools need to be routinely audited. Also, electronic degree's that are backed by technologies like Holochain or Blockchain would make it impossible to cheat.

East African (Uganda,Kenya and Tanzania) accreditation for degree programs especially in medicine, dentistry, law, engineering, business management and education are some of the highest in the continent.
I think this points more to an internal Nigerian problem rather than external.

Uganda has genuine degrees in most studies.For example; Uganda produces some of the best doctors in Africa.These support SouthAfrican hospitals plus many other neighbouring countries. Whatever degree you get in life, you get it through hard work and merit, not by cheating or taking the easy way. For example I got 1st Ranks on my Progress Report Card as the result of studying hard especially under the Candle light when the Power went out for an hour.
