I feel dread every time I pick up a pencil to draw, because I am stuck in a cycle of constantly comparing my art. As a perfectionist, I feel as if my art is never good enough. This video gave me a little hope, and I want to thank you. I’m a little nervous, but I’m going to try participating in Inktober for the first time this year!

I have to say one important thing that I've realized in the fight against perfectionism. It simply doesn't allow me to express myself and fuels my fears, keeping me from progressing. I trust that you will make the right choice regarding this. Good luck with all your endeavors 🫶

Your blocking and shape language is always incredible. I love when you post. It's inspiring and a fresh reminder that I can't slack on art. Also, the very informative content.

your color palette and the way you use them remind me a lot of kan liu, and as I've seen that you have him as a reference, I must say that your studies are yielding an excellent result (I say this as a person who has both the kanliu and you on my influence map u.u)

Wow, thank you!! I'm so happy to hear that. Yeah, I'm greatly inspired by the contrast that Kan Liu uses in his artwork. Thank you again!

I have a really hard time drawing because I started to HATE doing it since it became my career, but seeing your videos and journey I feel like forgetting everything I have been through with art, all the bad experiences, all the burnout, and pretend it's my first time again. Your content gives me the good feeling that I once felt, thank you a lot for this

Thanks for this video, ive feeling miserable lately because because i train as much as i can and i obsessively seek improvement but i havent improved as much as i would want to and i feel my effor is pointless, maybe i should take a look back, and compare, because comparing with others is a real hassle and destroys your confidence, thank you for the kind words

I totally get you. It's frustrating when you're putting in the work, but the progress feels slow. You are right, try comparing your current self to your past self instead of others, and you'll see the improvement. Keep going, and everything will work out just fine!!
And thank you for sharing your experiences, it’s important for me.
