I hope you enjoyed the video! If you're an artist, feel free to practice drawing expressions and emotions yourself, if you usually don't. It's good to come out of your comfort zone every now and then when it comes to art!
Your video was super helpful ❤and I think you should watch GinjaNinjaOwO she’s really good at expressions. Also this is just suggestion you don’t have to and if you all ready watch her thats cool a fellow fan❤
@@CosmicECLIPSEanimations12 hey thanks cos! just checked their art out and they are really expressive with all of the faces, thank you for the recommendation
I share this problem too. I think its because my muscle memory is missing that feedback from traditional drawing. First from how I draw on paper are usually on a lower table than the one I used for digital drawing, having my elbows and shoulders freed to a relaxed position helps a lot. Second is that the softness of paper scratched pencil helps the muscles to draw details. Then texture of the paper often masks my mistakes compared to when I scan and clean said drawing on digital. Portability and environment where I carry my traditional supplies also helps me gets in the mood to draw with intense focus. Since the problem encompassing ergonomic and body posture, I think I need to change my table for digital drawing... but everyone is different on addressing their problems, hopefully you got yours cleared soon!
Glad to hear you could relate to it frame! Keep going and you can do it! I'm still struggling with it a bit rn, but I keep trying to add some more expressive features every now and then :D
I enjoyed this video a lot It made me feel motivated to practice today. Do you think you can do something like this but instead head/expressions, with the body/anatomy? When you showed the final practices, I saw your anatomy is very sweet and I would like to see you sketching x3 you're really good at that!!! XOXO
i was just practicing face expressions, and it didn't turn out as well as i hoped. but this video has really motivated me, i think i will try again tomorrow!
2:58 that's a problem I see with many manhwa artists where they draw the face and they're like "Oh I'm just gonna add some oval shape, it's gonna fit somehow" and it looks weird, like it's forced.
Drawing takes a long time to learn, keep it up and I'm sure you will improve over time, especially if you're looking up important fundamentals and practice that! I wish you the best with it allana
Hey 56! I'm unfortunately not sure what you mean, which character is supposed to not have an expression? if it's easier for you you can try saying it in russian instead. But I'm sorry if you didn't enjoy the video, hope you find something more to your liking!
@@Xasha Friren, this heroine has had zero emotions on her face over the course of a million dull episodes. Или сколько там эпизодов этого уныния было?)

Most realistic self study i ever see on youtube.
This is such a motivating video! So much to practice, so little time!
Thank you susa :D
once I found myself not being able to draw on drawing tablet for no reason then when I tried drawing on paper I got better results , idk why
that's interesting! glad trying out something different worked. And I hope you can get the same results with a drawing tablet again!
Perhaps more concentrated focus? At least, that’s what I guess happens to me when I switch from traditional to digital. 😅

interesting to know what goes through an artist's mind doing sketches, thanks for the wonderful sketches and video
Oi it minimak! Thank you very much, glad to hear you liked it :D
its much (mentally) easier to follow a tutorial when the attitude is 'i'm a student too, here's what worked for me'
This tip about adding teeth to open mouths is great, thank you!

Nice to see the improvement
I think practicing the effect cheeks have on eyes is really good advice! I need to work on this.
Hope it helps you dacks!
you practiced more in this than i ever did in my entire drawing life i guess.
Hope you will draw some more soon then :D

Is this text to speech or autotune on the voice
Hey sam! It's actually neither, it's a voice changer that I'm using for privacy reasons, hope that clarifies things for you!
do you use an ai voice over? some words seem weirdly robotic (im just curious no offense)
Yes I'm using a voice changer for privacy reasons. I don't actually sound like a cute anime girl, nor am I either of those things :D
whats with your voice? is it your voice??
voice changer, it says on the left bottom corner at the start of the video
The artist was trying to draw a facial expression for a character who has no facial expression... it's weird.
