I started watching you guys during lockdown and then my wife got diagnosed with cancer so I was locked down for another 8months during her chemo,op and radiotherapy as we couldn't risk her getting covid..anyway I enjoyed the first few videos and decided to go back to the first one and do them in date order! 547 videos later and I'm upto date 💪 massive thanks to you guys for the videos they really have helped get me through a difficult time and have really enjoyed them 👍 keep them coming
Repaired very light damaged Corsa SXi many moons 🌙 ago & gave it to my nephew...serviced it every yr & he ran it for 9yrs & he was cock 'o north drivn around Doncaster...
Nice one gents. That’s a nice low mileage runner, that will earn a few quid. It’s actually a very nice car, and I’m sure you guys will make a great job of restoring it. Good stuff as always from SRUK. Have a great weekend.
Makes you an F1 driver if you're lying down. Just need the skill to go with it! 😀 Good job it's only a 1.4 or it may have taken a hit like the BMW the other week. As long as no-one was injured it can become a learning experience. We've all had them.
The wife drives with a similar seating position because she needs to reach the pedals but doesn’t want the steering wheel in her face. Short people often do the same.😂
Rob I really enjoy it when you are rebuilding such a recent model car being so popular it’s really great for owners to see how these cars get fixed. Oh by the way, I reckon if Chris is ever looking sad, just get him a nice coffee and secretly drop a couple of pound coins under the driver’s seat of your next salvage. He’ll be smiling all day ha ha! Bless you both 🙏
Amazing Job on the Vauxhall Corsa. The car just came you guys cracked on with it and got that driveshaft changed and topped up the gearbox oil. You guys always crack on with it. That’s what i love about you guys your serious people. You don’t mess around. Have an awesome weekend Rob and Chris. You guys work hard you deserve a break.
I'm not a Corsa fan either but looks like a quite straightforward job when you have the parts and there should be no difficulty selling it on. Good piece of business chaps, well done.
I done a 2017 corsa 4 door last year. Vertically the same damage the passenger door went back a inch. If you take the screen out and it will pull straight out with doser and the screen won't need replacing. As they tend to crack if you leave them in. Just a tip I thought I'd share with you. They must have used Easter egg foil on these I'm sure you'll see when or if you decide to pull it. I never changed the A post on mine it came back lovely. Great video 👍
Nice one, a bit of fettling with the door hinges being the most difficult part of the repair. Great to get them up and driving quickly, ahead of all the major expenditure and graft. Great peace of mind. Best of luck.
Hi Rob. DON"T LET CHRIS READ THIS. Next time you pick up a project hide 9 one pond coins under the seats, carpets etc, etc. He will be very happy and be talking about it non stop. You will be chuckling in the background. Both of you will be happy. Nine is the optimal number because he will be trying to reach a double digit find for the rest of his days.
Fair play lads and respect to people that hand over cars after an accident no insurance pay out is bad enough but seeing yous bring the car back to life to see another day i hope this helps 👍
Thing is, these cars still have a big appeal to young drivers and content like this really helps them. Truth be told no matter what cars you might not much care for on this channel they'll probably still be just as popular if you get them purely for the videos!
I agree with you Rob there’s nothing more satisfying as getting the salvage vehicle back on its wheels I did a 306 years a go what had been rolled snap a rear wheel in half bent everything at front still look good on its wheels even tho roof was flat lol 😅
“You’ve got a headlight bulb out this side” Rob you make me chuckle! Great little car, looking forward to seeing this one transform back to a lovely little car.
I repaired one with more or less identical damage but on the drivers side, wheel was hanging off, new wing, bonnet, the front ends are a pain to align, but all in they are an easy car to repair. The wife drove it for 6 months and it was a cracking little car. Then a delivery van wrote it off again and back to copart it went.
Hi guys, thanks for another excellent video, I have been following religiously for a few years now and I still love you guys and the channel. Would it be possible, and this is only a question, for an recap on the current projects as I feel I’m losing the plot on what is still in work and what is at paint etc. I think it’s my age, lol! No worries if not, just thought I’d ask. Have a great weekend both. Dave.
Chris and Robb you will have that car up and running and out the workshop very quick I think. Great bit of salvage keep them coming. Have good weekend.
That’s going to be a great little car for someone especially it being fixed to your standard, be interesting to see how the numbers stack up when your all done , great video as usual 👍
Dropped on again , But the boys who can deserve luck . Because the genuine combined skill base turns these cars into usable and profitable vehicles. Great to see Chris speeded up after you bought the coffee, Priceless .Keep the Faith. London Paul. 🇬🇧👍
Nice buy, my daughter has one also..the German variant Opel Corsa the D version . Red with the black roof. Very nice driving little car 1.4 L engine. I am sure you two will get this one like new 👍😎
Chris will be in his element. Another GM to go with his Dad’s one! Rob, you are clearly a blue oval man. Will be interesting to see the personal dynamics on this one. Looking forward to it, especially the A pillar straightening and other sheetmetal work on the frame. Philip 🇳🇿
I work in a motor factors and people phones everyday wanting parts for a corsa 🤣 i will never own one for that reason. But that being said they are a popular car that hold abit of value Great work guys
A nice little car guys and not recorded , might need a little pull straight , You will defo sell that one ,for good money , The newer Corsa s are nice , Keep up the good work guys 👍👍
Evening guys 😀 WOW Rob that looked a right mess🙄 But again a right result 😀 Love how you go out mooching Rob then you return with coffee and Chris has smashed it 🤣 I'll understand if there's no video on Monday. RIP Queen Elizebeth. Have a nice weekend. Stevie
Sending you and your families sincere condolences from Ireland on the loss your Queen. Hope you got to pay your respect 🙏 and had an experience to tell your grandchildren about. Love ❤️ and Prayers from Ireland 🇮🇪 🙏
Seeing the driving position of the seat brought back memories. My second car was an E plate Vauxhall Astra, I was about 21/22 at the time, and thought it looked cool having the seat so far back, I could almost see past the B post, and out of the rear door window!! 😅
I couldn't believe it when i seen a mighty Corsa in the channel. This one has everything to be another winner. Chris, you now have to restart saving for other Nandos lol
I had a 2018 black edition Corsa and I will tell you something,, it was one of the best cars I ever had ,, it was a 1.4 turbo ,,, absolutely beautiful car and not one bit of problem with it,, you will sell this no problems,, once this is done ,,and had a good clean and service I guarantee you rob you will fall in love with this wee Corsa to 100% good luck with it ,, it won't cost much for repair either that's for sure 🏴🏴🏴🏴
Oh I'm so pleased that you've got a Vauxhall and a Corsa at that. I used to work at a Vauxhall dealership as a salesman and a trade specialist. You've got the better engine in that 1.4 90bhp, as the 1.4 also came as a 70bhp. I've give you insider tips; your Corsa MKIV is just a re-skin of the Corsa D (Mark 3), hence why the arm and suspension fitted perfectly. Vauxhall were heavily critised for saying this was a 'new Corsa' The entertainment system is great though. The Limited Edition isn't very 'Limited' lol but great looking small hatchback. Great video guys. Well done on some great salvage 😁👍🏻
Nice little car. I've owned a few Vauxhall's and the parts interchangeability has always been great, so I thought the upright should fit. Now it's on its wheels, the damage doesn't look too bad. Hopefully once the wing is removed, there's no nasty surprises underneath. Great video. 👍
Hello Rob and Chris,I do like these Corsa E cars, nice to see one on the channel, the spec is good.it will be a awesome progress to see how this one goes.
those "special edition" racing tyres, laid back seat, baccy all over the carpet, deffo a "yoofs" car... i look after all the family cars [service/mot/repairs], 6 fords, one vauxhall, guess which one cost more than all the others put together this year.... and last year... keep up the good work chaps
Hello Rob and Chris, another nice little car that will be easy to sell on when it’s finished. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video.Ged
Most northern scrap yards are like that, price land and units this day. Given them a bit of slack, maybe interview them better they be great guys possibly there start up company, help out the little guys. Great content as always see you on the next one ❤️
Scares me there is plenty of unrecorded salvage offered as a non crashed ones to ppl without their knowledge. Of course its not about you guys, you're great and honest.
A very popular car with the younger community, and by the looks of it a Quick turnaround to. Have a good weekend Gents, and thanks for the entertaining content.
The newer shape corsas sell quite well as they're a good runabout car with good fuel economy and cheap maintenance. I think if you took on more Astras/Corsas you'd do well out of it. Corsa Cs and Bs people generally avoid. I remember that Astra Estate Elite you did a while ago.
Nice little car they are a favourite with new drivers so will sell its self within a hour I bet Great work as always guys thanks and enjoy ur weekend and see ya Monday
Great find Rob! i love the Corsa E,this ones a 3 door and theyre very nice cars, last real Vauxhall Corsa before Puegoeot took over and made it french! Keep up the good work! :D

I don't know how anyone can drive reclined that far back, but you do see plenty of youngsters driving this way as you mentioned. I passed my test in 1991 at the age of 21 and sat bolt upright from day 1, I still do!
Not only youngsters. My dad's in his mid-70s and I always tilt the seat back forward whenever I borrow one of his cars! Not as bad as this one but he does like a very reclined seat.
A corsal...that's what they are called in Bristol lol. A first for you boys but looks like a quick turn around once parts sourced. Brilliant new project 👌
I’ve just watched this video twice, Chris & Rob great bunch of lads, Just watching the video from sunny Tenerife (while on holiday) As Rob would say if you could find the Replacement panels in colour this would be a easy fix, Keep up the great work lads, Hard work pays off👍
Friday at last, the week end can start cos Chris & Rob have a new project. looks better than the normal basket cases you get. looks like you could buff it out.
Tbh I’ve a Corsa myself mines a 66 plate and I’ve had no end if bother with it.. I might be just unlucky but I’ve had mine when the mileage was 7000 in that time I’ve had New clutch, handbrake cable, throttle body, accelerator pedal, thermostat, coolant sensor, tyre pressure sensor, all in the space of 3 years and I don’t drive hard atall 😅😅
Corsas are alright for the younger people so should sell well. The limited edition will also help. So pleased that it is not as bad as you were expecting, makes all the difference on the outlook of the project. Might need to pull the 'A' pillar on the 'Jig' so that will be interesting. Inner and outer wings I think and probably a door. We will look forward to the next installment on this car even if it's sometime in the future. Thanks again Rob and Chris for another great set of videos this week. Hope you have a lovely weekend. 🙏👍👍

Repaired very light damaged Corsa SXi many moons 🌙 ago & gave it to my nephew...serviced it every yr & he ran it for 9yrs & he was cock 'o north drivn around Doncaster...
This little Corsa is different, and I like it, it’s a lovely car, I am looking forward to seeing more progress with it❤.
never say never just get anything that will turn a buck and save salvage ! it's all good content and good for us to learn different makes and things.
Nice one gents. That’s a nice low mileage runner, that will earn a few quid. It’s actually a very nice car, and I’m sure you guys will make a great job of restoring it.
Good stuff as always from SRUK.
Have a great weekend.
Good purchase Rob. Corsas always sell well and parts tend to be reasonably priced. Would like to see more Vauxhalls!
Like Cavy or a nova GTE or any nova 😄
Imagine a Vauxhall lotus carlton 🤤😄
Great looking car, I loved the comment with the headlight bulb been out, that is going to make a lovely car for someone.
Another great Friday night video from Chris and Rob.
Had a Corsa GSI back in the day so loved this .
With a driving position like that I'm not surprised he crashed it.
Thats probably just the force of the impact that caused the seat to bent back that way
Makes you an F1 driver if you're lying down. Just need the skill to go with it! 😀
Good job it's only a 1.4 or it may have taken a hit like the BMW the other week.
As long as no-one was injured it can become a learning experience. We've all had them.
Standard Corsa (not so) limited edition ergonomics.
The wife drives with a similar seating position because she needs to reach the pedals but doesn’t want the steering wheel in her face. Short people often do the same.😂
I’m 6ft4 and my driving position is not much different.
Great new project guys, nice to see taking a chance on something different for the channel. Great little sellers sure your do well out of it

Nice buy, my daughter has one also..the German variant Opel Corsa the D version . Red with the black roof. Very nice driving little car 1.4 L engine. I am sure you two will get this one like new 👍😎

Of corsa we'll be following this one like we do all of your videos and sooo looking forward to the next one.
Another fab aquisition, you guys make it look so simple and I know it's not!
You guys will knock that into shape in no time. A nice little runner.
See you've brought back another little gem Rob.......and two coffee's but no cake. I like the content keep it up!!!
Going back to '07 Corsa's, they were pants. My daughter had one. I hope the newer ones are better. She now has a Fiesta, like me.

Vauxhaul are not the only ones to have done the it's all new on an existing shell with new panels. Ford did it with the Fiesta and Focus recently too.
The arm didn’t fit bud it’s a completely different set up to the Corsa d 👍

Nice little job, very nice, Rob and Chris, good luck.
The damaged corsa makes a comeback!!
The doctors ( chris & rob) say that it will make a full recovery!!
Great result for you both. Look forward to pt 2. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Brings back memories, bulkhead seal plate. Nightmare! Good little cars though, nice buy. 👍
Another great video guys! Loving the variety of projects
I think you guys are the best salvage repair videos always looking out for new videos
Nice little first time buyer there Guys just don’t leave it in yard to long someone waiting for the buy, well done again 👍
Great little buy lads quick turn around Rob.cant wait to see it finished
Corsas are alright for the younger people so should sell well. The limited edition will also help. So pleased that it is not as bad as you were expecting, makes all the difference on the outlook of the project. Might need to pull the 'A' pillar on the 'Jig' so that will be interesting. Thanks again Rob and Chris for another great set of videos this week. Hope you have a lovely weekend. 🙏👍👍
I guess that might be necessary, I’m no expert but I suppose one of the risks there is twisting the windscreen surround and breaking the screen so maybe that would need to come out first?
Always better than a 'Fix or repair daily' vehicle 😂.
@@philtucker1224 yes possibly Phil but until you remove the door and take some measurements that will tell you if the 'Jig' is needed.
Another lovely video. Don’t know how you lads do it so sweet most times !!!
“It was running alright when it crashed” Don’t stop saying it, makes me laugh every time 😊
Nice one guys it’ll be a good little car once you get it sorted and you’ll have no problem moving it on,
I just noticed one of your shelf bracket braces is a spanner. Brilliant.
Worth the purchase and should turn out nice 👌
Nice mix of videos again this week. Thanks guys.
Great vid guys! I love the new shelving with the wrench bracket.
The lever on that wheel hub - what the rack attaches to I think - looked different. Maybe it was just perspective?
That was my mates car rob, bang on with the way he drove 😂 far too leaned back, thanks for sorting the whole process out again buddy
Thank you for getting in touch 👍
What a lovely little car, real shame it was crashed in the first place but I'm sure you 2 will be able to rectify that little technicality with ease.
What a result.... bonus that only the steering wheel bag went and not wrecked the dash and windscreen!
Great video 👍 Corsa d and e are mechanically identical just cosmetics different.
It’s completely different bud different shaft completely different subframe set up
@@sruk thanks for that got a Corsa e the other day and "assumed" after a quick look 🤭
