Looks good but price...i know you are going to say we are going to do budget poles n all that but at a grand for a "budget pole" is a lot of money. Fishing tackle now days is mega expensive. Dont hate me for it its just my say on this
And said very well indeed...... Well done
You do know that Guru is Daiwa? Since when has Daiwa been cheap? When you buy Guru you're buying old Daiwa with different stickers.. You're gonna be better of going Maver or Preston.
Guru badge, Daiwa pole.
saying its stiff when your only fishing at 13 meters and got a short number 3 on pole! says it all really! A £900 pole would be stiff at 13mtr with a short number 3 Air Z pro is still king!
Also short top2 si is more like 11.5m
Are they pre drilled for pulls?
What are the weights for the poles at 13m 14.5 and 16m? Also is the pole walls robust or squashy.
Does it have a warranty
Well the pricing was very simple to understand 🤯 and its good that you can have 28 top kits if you buy both poles as they don't want the angler to buy/have top kits they don't need😃
Always wondered this !!!
Why don't they ever put the air z /or , acolyte pro next to them for comparison (top flag ship poles ) or are they not confident in comparison Please get back to me on this !!! Maybe slander but it's alot of money to spend ?
Can't understand why daiwa building poles /rods / reels for guru I not brand loyal don't get me wrong some of the guru stuff is top class
handle's brill have nothing bad to say and think i mite getting 9ft ugly stik to grate rod for a grate price ☺
£3000 or or Leccy bill ? if you have 3 grand to spend on a pole im envious of you .pricing is mental .
I can't afford 1k never mind 4k gotta realise the times we are in guru I'm sure there good but bloody hell cater to the masses
Made by daiwa so you might as well buy a daiwa pole
Fishing at 13.5m with short 4 and a shallow kit? How?
Equals 12.5 metres.
Daiwa poles.
4:57 - “certainty amongst the stiffed things ive picked up”
Look good and, decent packages. But for nigh on £3000 a hell of alot of money for average joe to expect to folk out in these financially difficult times.
They need to drop the price. To many poles out there just as good if not better and cheaper. Daiwa will take some beating.
They are Daiwa poles
Sounded more like a sponsored add not a review
Built on a mandrel that Daiwa decided not to use, by Daiwa, so I'm told.
Whoa, controversial. Source?
Well if daiwa didn't use it ask yourself why
I know if I had developed something good I be using it
@@mickbrooks8114 it's called being a Manufacturer and designer from the ground up.
Not a brand born from a Hybrid feeder design that them grew into buying Daiwa rods and selling them at ridiculous money along with the so called Aventus reels which anybody with a brain can see are rebranded Daiwa reels at daft money...and now come the poles,,,,, re branding personified. Have you seen the Guru website?
I'll leave that thought with you when you've seen how dreadful it is along side other so called big names 🤔 😕 🙄 🙃 😐
Lack of capital investment and lack of management design and progression infrastructure.
You can't ride on the back of Daiwas immense technology and development by just rebranding there experience and sticking a Guru badge on it. " Knowledge is power"
And sometimes " Bullshit baffles 🧠 " go figure.....its all a big marketing strategy.
High mark-up not always the best quality........🥶
@@mickbrooks8114 it's simple. Daiwa are huge and are a Global Brand and Manufacturer.
Guru aren't either. The biggest and best reel Manufacturer in the world and arguably the biggest rod and pole brand and manufacturer in the world.
Go figure 🤔
It's that simple.
I know if Ur the best u keep it that way by not doing stuff for guru or anyone else
Typical GURU there pricing is absolutely ridiculous and well over the top as usual, 3k for the pole only then 4.5 k for the top kits total 7.5 k seriously that absolutely pathetic £7,500 ha ha ha ha there having a laugh at korda/Guru,
4.5k for top kits you’ve got this seriously wrong 😂
3k pole only and 4.25/4.5k for the pole and topkit package
@@johnfairhurst9118 still far too much money
@@johnfairhurst9118 anybody pays that price wants there head feeling mark sawyer talking utter garbage it's a Daiwa pole ridiculous pricing from Korda/Guru as always,
@@taztaz6539 anybody pays that price wants there head feeling seriously
Yeah!…let’s all buy Guru poles…utter bollocks!
Price of top end poles is crazy now, a pole for 1500 quid isn't much different from a 3k plus pole now, certainly not value for money, how can these people and sponsored anglers honestly recommend you part with over 4k for these poles, even if you can afford it , it's just silly money, the only people that need these poles are the ones who get them for free anyway because they are pro angler's
i agree pole prices are ridiculous we talk about Cap tax in fishing all the time but what about match tax. and how come i can buy a shakespeare 11 meter pole for around 150 but if i want a pole that is only 3 meters longer so under two sections more the price increases at least 10X
Typical Guru far to expensive nothing for the club anglers waste of money
Flagship poles have all ways been too expensive for club anglers 😅...don't hate on guru they supply quality tackle and did a rod for the club/pleasure angler (n-gauge)and the budget pole will follow in a year or two...
Like the video said "start at the top and work down".
3k. 🤣
He lost me when he began going on about F1 cars. Very poor demo considering the astronomical price. Do Guru manufacture them or are they made by others and simply have a Guru stamp attached. Either way, they appear way overpriced.
I fully understand the analogy, and he’s right F1 tech does eventually filter down to everyday cars. It’s simple really.
Made by others
Made by daiwa.
not from this planet hahaha good look at that price !
Only people that will own these are guru fan boy's, dip sh%ts and guru sponsored anglers 🤦🏻♂️
Same as any of the major poles really
3 grand fuking ridiculous price Korda weren't happy with making carp fishing un affordable by creating carp tax now they want to make pleasure and match fishing unaffordable for people too. but not Just Guru the price of poles in general is ridiculous and makes no sense when you can consider you can buy and 11 metre pole for around £150 but if you want to go another 3 metres long the price rises by 10x the price minimum
