I have used the XZ 65-3 since it xame out for everything , landed loads of doubles wirh it and never had an issue with its strength. And you get them for around £2650
May I ask if it has a heavy elastics rating or max you would feel comfortable it can handle ??.. I know that's not a thing but only way I can describe.. intending for 6lb carp or less /f1 fishing against lillies. Cheers

Middy poles are great.Its just getting hold of spares that is the problem with middy.
And spare section prices if you can get them!
