Hi a useful video but the reason why on an level one charger it won’t charge the 12 volt is because the charge is to low at just over 1 KW. It is recommended that you install a dedicated home wall box charger. The level one is for emergencies . Here in the uk Kia no longer supply the level one charger. Plus if you allow the cars main battery to go below 20% the car will not charge the cars 12 volt battery.
If you leave your car “on”, watch someone else drive it away. All it does is complain it can’t see the key, it doesn’t stop you from driving it. Hence utility mode.
Well, it is, if you do not read the manual and also ignore the "turn the vehicle on / utility mode to not drain the 12V battery" warning on the display :D

Thank you for the comment !!
Good info, thanks buddy
Glad you like it. Thanks for the comment.
thanks for your video. I just wandering if we can recharge our EV6 12V using charger like other non-EV?
Unfortunately it doesn’t based in my knowledge 😣
If I understand, it uses 12v when car is 'off' and you use the stereo for example? If so, can you just leave the car 'on' rather than Utility Mode?
That is correct!!

what if your charging your car and its very cold or hot out and want to leave the heat or A/C on should you just leave it running or use utility mode.
Utility mode should be better
Helpful - but please always use dark mode.
I agree ☝️
thanks very helpful video
You are welcome 🤗
Can this utility mode be switched on permanently or you have to set it every time you drive?
Not permanently as far as I know.
It’s more like every time as far as I know
Utility mode is not a hidden feature.
It was hidden to me, thank you.
