How do i get the compass back on the dash display.
If you hit the button on the Steering wheel to cycle through the views, one is the compass

I already read the entire manual but it's helpful to see a video about the settings. Some things have changed with software updates and the manual doesn't show a picture of every settings screen.

Is there a way in the 24 ev6 GT-line is there a way to use the 360 camera as a dashcam? Ir do you need to install a 3rd party system? 🤔
In everywhere except Korea it's not possible unfortunately. Need to use a 3rd party dash cam.
Hi Jeff, can the default screen that comes on when the car is turned on be changed? I would like it to go straight to the map and skip over that graphic of a Kia Niro. Can this be done?
No I don't think we can change that
Lots of settings makes it difficult finding and understanding basic ones. For me it is automatic adjustment of user profiles.
1. For us it does NOT associate users with different keys. Works smoothly on my Odyssey but not on EV6 Wind AWD.
2. Not clear how user profiles couple with seat positions. We constantly have to adjust seat memory position after changing user profiles.
Info on this would be appreciated.
Yeah that would definitely be ideal. My Pacifica Hybrid does it fine too. Honestly I have a GT now though which is a little different (no power seats) so I'm not sure how valuable it'd be.
V useful video, thanks! As a designer, I think Kia should drop using the that semi techie typeface and do what Polestar have done and use a nice easy to read san serif font. Stylised fonts should only be used for headings. We test drove an EV6 and it's lovely inside and out. Sexy in black! Hoping to get one or a Model Y, latter only benefit Teslas frequent software updates, but not as stylish and less tactile controls.
Glad to help! I agree. The EV6 is great but doI wish we got updates more often than twice per year.
To me, the font looks clean, modern, and in a style that fits the rest of the car's UI. The font appears to be sans-serif so maybe you just don't like the EV6 font's spacing?
HI Jeff - any chance of a video on setting profiles and a step by step for setting more than 1. I have set my profile and it saves my seat settings, radio station (though not the view/screen i like which is frustrating) but when setting person 2 for my wife, just cannot get it to save her seat settings and preferred radio station etc. Keeps reverting to mine - so i must be doing something very wrong. Like your videos, very straight forward. cheers from Down Under!!

Hi Jeff, at the end of the video you mention that you disable the wireless charging because it tends to overheat your phone if you are using wireless Android car. I don't seem to find the option to activate wireless Android car. Can you confirm that the car has wireless android car? Great and helpful video btw!
Hey great question. The car doesn't have wireless Android Auto or Carplay as of now. I use an adapter. Check my channel I have reviews of a few 😀

In the settings (I think general) there's an option for daylight savings.
Hi Jeff, I'm not a fan of the artificial sounds and like to turn the Active Sound Design off, but it never 'sticks'. Do you know why that might be?
Hmm mine always stays off when I turn it off... Does it come back on when you turn the car off and back on?

Is it possible to turn off traction control on the EV6?
Yes there's a button on the left of the steering wheel. Pressing it turns it off. Holding it turns off the stability control too.

Does it have 1 pedal driving?
Yes, that's the "iPedal" regen level. I did a video last year on regen for the EV6 and discuss it some.

Hey Kyle! Unfortunately, that's not an option on the Wind currently. The vehicle should be able to do it (it senses when you walk up - mirrors open), but the functionality isn't added yet. I have sent feedback to Kia that they need to add it. I posted another video on submitting feedback to Kia. Feel free to let them know you want this feature. The more people that tells them, the more likely they are to add it.

Does anyone have the problem that the vehicle setting icon is gone. I go to settings and the vehicle setting is gone and it’s blank
I haven't seen that reported. You may need to do a factory reset of the system. Maybe try installing the latest firmware.
