SBI is changing 0.50% of gross transaction as brokerage. When we buy 100 shares of Affle at 5 lakh SBI Capital will charge 2500 brokerage and on selling the same T+3 again brokerage 2500 which means for two transaction brokerage 5000 rupees wherein UPSTOX will charge only 20 rupees per transaction.

Hi i m a biginer .the class was very infomative.i paid Rs 116 for account opening last wk.
You could have mentioned that the free brokerage through Upstox is limited validity. For a new investor, I doubt 400 could be used in 30 days. I watched and opened Upstox account but they mentioned rs25 maintenance charged every month and it isn't waived off for first year. You should have mentioned this for being transparent, unlike you say that you want to be transparent.

What is the advantage for the company in this increase ?. except 10 rupee per share which the company got about 1 year back ?..

I saw your review about upstock and zerodha I would like to put certain things into your notice ie if you are a option trader doing strategies like iron condor or iron butter margin required is low because your positions are completely hedged if you are doing strategies like this in upstock u will not get the benefit of hedge in the same day u will get that only next day. This is a very serious drawback if you are an option writer so you should post such kind of things in your video.

I think it's better if you contact zerodha customer care directly. You will have to open a PIS account with the bank if you wish to repatriate the money later on. NRI's transaction charges will be higher. My account is with geojith, not advisable since you have better platforms.

I think in Zerodha there is no first year annual maintenance charge. Because account opening charge will consider as annual maintenance charge for first year

Upstocks software is unstable at times, the watchlist stock prices dont get updated, issues on order placing etc etc
Customer support is good only when you are opening the account. When you open a ticket for technical issues, you get the typical answer of we are working on the issue noting else.
But referral points are very high for account openings when compared to Zerodha
Zerodha software is mature and stable even at peak market times, there is no lag or delays

Recently upstox changed their brokerage plan. Its 20₹ per trade or 0.01% whichever is lower for delivery and intra day. Means delivery is chargeable now. Moreover the customer care quality is poor. They do not know about 3-1 plan where they say its not available now. No intimation while changing the brokerage.
Would you please do a video about how to calculate and pay tax on gains from stock trading? This is one of the most critical thing that stops me from trading.

Guys .shareekh bai did not mention about zerodha properly .it is a giant not because lot of people are trading in it but because the value of money and safety and variety of options it csn give you.if you are making 10 percent profit using upstox ,you could easily make 20 percent using zerodha .

The account opened on 22nd January 2020 onward MMC (Monthly Maintenance Charges) will charged Rs 25 + GST which comes to Rs 29.5 (Including GST). Demat MMC [Monthly Maintenance Charge] is Rs.25 + 18%GST = Rs.29.50.MMC will be applicable by default irrespective of your trading activities and will be auto debited form your trading account.
