So The Logitech mk470 Keyboard + the M340 mouse has finally shown on my doorstep! I'll be doing an unboxing/review so that you could make a decision for yourself on whether this Logitech keyboard combo is worth it.
We'll be covering the overall build quality and design. How to connect the mk470 keyboard via dongle. (no Bluetooth included ) - A sound test comparison using the Logitech M340 mouse. The battery life of the wireless keyboard + mouse duration. And a few other features.

No way about the number pad! It’s compact compared to normal sized keyboard, but for accountants like me, the num pad is crucial and this makes the perfect portable full keyboard!
Came here to say the only reason why I'm considering this keyboard is because I'm an accountant and I need a compact keyboard with a number pad hahaha

agreed on the on and off switch, but disagree with you to remove the number keys, i prefer the number keys since my works requires frequent dates key in, the main reason i bought this keyboard, is because its compact with the number keys included... happy with my purchase so far, and yes it is quiet..
The keyboard for the MK470 doesn't have an on/off switch. There is a sleep mode that the keyboard goes into when not in use that helps preserve battery life.

Thank you. You're a life saver 😁 Our Franch keyboard died and we couldn't find the batteries as the board appeared to be a sealed unit.
Our grey panel didn't pop open as easily as your's had to gently prise it with a butter knife !
Batteries now replaced and all in working order.

I love how Logitech produced their keyboard. I have been using the keyboard case for my iPad Pro. Totally an awesome combination. Makes me more productive!!!
I've had them for about two years - I just changed the batteries - and it's an okay keyboard, low profile, comfortable. I like the number pad. My main issue is the lack of caps lock light.
Logitech has Device Setup Software where you tick options to disable that you don't wish to have active such as : caps lock, num lock, insert, scroll and Windows.(edited because im still learning on type on the compact keyboard........

I know this is an old comment, but I just picked one of these up as added accessories for my laptop. Hitting caps lock on the keyboard does illuminate the caps lock light on my laptop, in case anyone was wondering.
Just got this combo to use for my streaming PC. I am thirsty for desk space and don’t need anything crazy for my streaming PC since I won’t be gaming on it, so this was perfect!

is there a way to fn lock on this keyboard. I downloaded Logi options and Logi bolt, but the keyboard isn't coming up on Logi options despite it being connect on Logi bolt. thanks

I have this keyboard and cannot get the number lock to "unlock" I must have done something when I transported it in my backpack. Any suggestions on getting the number keypad to work again?
I just bought the M470 keyboard but there is no way I can know whether the keyboard is in Capslock or not since there is no light on the caps lock or number lock menu which is typically found on all good quality keyboards - I tried doing Windows repair /update but after that the only thing I get is a sound which is very difficult to identify if the capslock is on or not since we do use a lot of passwords and security logins nowadays

Hi. I am using M720 Triathlon too and I have a question. Can I use the keyboard (MK470) with the Triathlon on one USB dongle? I can do that with K780 & M720 so is it possible with MK470 & M720?
I don't think so. The mk470 don't use a unifying dongle.
how do you get the keyboard to wake up or turn on. I have to take out and put the batteries back in everytime I need it to work! So frustrating. I don't think a damn on-off switch would have been a bad idea.
Would you recommend this model or the mk345 ?

I got mine today and used your video to figure out how to open the mouse haha For me, it was a AA battery not a AAA.
I have a question which need help, may I asking, for MK470, the number keypad with symbol of (-) sign, is it used for lock screen? Is there any way for us to use like normal number keypad for (-) to be minus for account works? As I've tried with numlock and without numlock, it's still the same, other then to press together with FN this key, is there any way for us to make it being lock the (-) key on number keypad to use as normal formula minus sign instead of locking screen?
Did you manage to find a solution? I have the same problem, it turns off the screen every time I press the (-)

Hi, I have a M510 mouse, with Unifying dongle connection. Is it possible to connect the keyboard with Unifying dongle or do I need to use the one provided with the combo?

It does, but you can actually put the dongle inside the keyboard which he fails to mention.
Is it 1 USB for both the mouse and keyboard? Or is it 1 for each?

2/5, Not an efficient keyboard at all! suffers from abrupt lag issues and the num lock key activating on its own.
Mouse is 0.
Keyboard is great but have 2 issues. :
1-left shift is too short sometimes you dont reach it,
2-is too heavy-to move it is like a piece of metal.
Disappointed no demo or sound test of keyboard. Thanks though

It should, as the Linux kernel basically contains every driver known to man, except nvidia.

It does not

You are so funny, I wonder how much people are traveling with their computer on standby, even with a laptop if you are not using it, it's probably close... :)

I am typing my feedback on that keyboard, unfortunately. Lags badly on my computer at random intervals, sometimes as long as five !!! f***ing long seconds! It caches key presses so you will have to delete your redundant input...... I was happy with other Logitech products, mainly mouses.Not this one. I would say its a software issue, but there is no firmware update available. A real shame as hardware seems to be OK. Seeking for replacement for my workstation. Cant work on this unit and get 5s lag at random.

Mas creio que seja um bom combo, pois a Logitech na questão de produtos sem fio não deixa a desejar. Eu comprei este combo justamente pensando na durabilidade

@@kova_tech NW GA, loved your review, I was having second thoughts about that logitech combo but it actually looks pretty cool. Do you recommend any software to record your cmputer screen, for Win 10? something like to make tutorials and stuff?
Update: Ended up getting the K480 and it is a beauty. Works great and you can switch between 3 devices simultaneously. I love it because it is really compact and I do PC refreshes so it is always a great thing to have a slim keyboard in hand when you deal with many laptops or PCs at the same time.
I was hoping to see how the WIFI connection works. There IS the USB unifying dongle, however, you can place that inside the keyboard. Not sure what it does as my Macbook does not seem to pick up any signal.
Also, CTRL+A, +C, +B, etc. do not work on my Macbook. The typing is awesome, love it, but it's these little things that annoy me slightly.
On Macbook you need to use Win Key + A, +C, +B because the Win Key becomes the Cmd key.
MAYBE rehearse and write down the info, You say "um" and uuuh" too much.

Should be said, if you have a new Macbook that doesn't have standard USB input you cannot set up and link this keyboard and mouse :( requires a usb-c to USB adapter

Bad review, no info about the sensitivity of the mouse, like does it work properly on several surfaces. No info about the clicks of the keyboard. No info about the kind of buttons just commercial talk.

It worked fine for about 3 years then batteries began to fail and these are new batteries.
