  • HONESTLY IM NOT SURPRISED that the crown act was blocked by Senate republicans in Dec 2022. Meaning we STILL do not have the protection to wear our natural hair as Black people in US on a federal level. However as of February 2024 there are 23 states* in which the crown act is law. (*as per thecrownact.com (thecrownact.com))

ARE YOU SURPRISED? Is 23 states encouraging or depressing? Lmk below.

Ok, I am curious if this covers guys having long hair. I am a metal head and have pretty long hair (half way down my back) and while my bosses have never told me directly to cut it, it has been obvious they were not exactly happy about it but I guess they just didn't want to say it.

Can't you just slick it back into a ponytail or bun? I'm pretty sure they can't tell you to cut it if you do either of those styles.

Why? So black people can wear their hair in its natural state like every race does.
