I drove a Freightliner like that some years back, it had a Cummins 400,a fuller 10 speed, and we called it the beak. I have always really liked Mack Superliners.
I can listen to these boys all day. The only thing missing is the beer! What a treasure trove of knowledge these guys have. I just bought a 1979 KW W900A w/Big Cam II 400 in it and a 15 speed RR Log Truck. It has been sitting for 10 years and I need to crank it up. I bought it last fall and drove 400 miles to get it right as the Snow decided it was time to show up. Blizzard conditions so it has been left to this Spring to retrieve it. Tires, fuel, filters, batteries and oil have all been bought in anticipation. Can't wait to get it started. I could use these guys to drop in and nurse it back to health for me! Lol.
I love how you Guy's have fun in you're videos, I laugh right with you. I watched other peoples videos and there is no laughing, they make their videos boring to watch, but you Guy's I can watch for hours. It's nice to see people out there have some good fun. Just keep smiling and have fun doing what you Guy's do!!
yes!! I have seen a few "sawmill-mechanic" videos and there seems to sometimes be very little in the way of feelings and emotions in some of them. I come here to your videos nearly every day that I have my evening computer on. I only live like 80 miles away but I have no car.... Tallahassee.

Most things with engines that sat I always say that first start after sitting in the hardest, it will make you work for it but after that it's easy. I've done many small engines and cars to learn that. When you spun it over my first thought was sticky valves low compression.

I got an even smaller crescent wrench. Its a Craftsman and it's about 2 inches long. I was amazed. Thanks for sharing Hank! Hopefully that truck will be bought and back on the road soon. 👍

Not that it's a big deal, but the easiest time to kill wasps is at night. At night, they won't try to fly. So you won't have to worry about a sting. Night time is the best time to kill them if you are scared or allergic or whatever the case.
Hola amigos ! Me gustaría verlos reconstruir un viejo Mack D M 800 media cara como el manejé durante muchos años , por favor si localizan alguno , haga el video me encantaría poder observar como lo reviven . Gracias amigos.!
Engine doesn't seem to have much compression. Starter is also running too slow, bad connection somewhere, Check voltage drop in your cables to the starter. At 12 Volts you need perfect and very clean connections.
We still have a few tripable bunks running around southern BC dropping logs into the lakes. Used to be a bunch up In northern BC dumping into lake williston.
If you are really serious about wanting or needing a service truck then contact Matt from diesel truck He bought one It has all sorts of goodies in it and on it,including a compressor and a welder It is powered by a 6.7 Cummins
Hank, when you handed Brandle that bigger cresent wrench, you reminded me of one of my Dad's sayings. Don't force it, get a bigger hammer. Have a blessed day Gentlemen.

It depends if the truck will start and move from where it's parked at.
this is all of the motivation I need. I have been thinking about a battery powered saw. 40 volts unit is what I'm looking at
it has served me well. I've had it about 3 months now and have been with it. A 40v one will be even better than this one.

you have to pull in on the clutch lever to disengage and slowly let it out to engage. Its not an automatic like some of the older models.
