Have you guys ever had a snake 🐍 in or around the stuff y'all work on.
OTC is a very quality tool
They're Cummins
I guess down south U boys can use them Play School saws on your brush. You tackle some Pocono mountain brush with that thing it'll be a comedy show,,,
You two boobs could save yourself some real time and aggravation by buying a leaf blower to clear all that crap off that engine. Or maybe mount an air compressor on your truck like I did.
I'm 52... keep the dad jokes coming!!! My adult kids LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're proud to tell their friends about the dad jokes they got from their dad.
My dad drove an 85 Freightliner almost identical to this one when I was a kid. I used to lay on the floor and look out the little oval blind spot window in the passenger door. Seeing this truck brought back a lot of good memories.
Really enjoy seeing you and Wiley get these old pieces cranked back up!
Thank you for watching!
Back several years ago, they were putting in a Northern Tool here in Memphis. There was a truck trailer that had written on it: "I love the smell of diesel in the morning". Wylie talking about the smell of diesel reminded me of that.
My late brother, Rod, was a life-long diesel mechanic. He not only swore by Cummins engines, he very nearly loved them.
I do to. I drink diesel fuel...jummy. ..Then like the locomotive itself.😁😁😁
This channel is pure genuine and great for the soul ! god bless ! You and Wiley simply rock ! god bless !
Man almost, at least the viewers know the engine will run for sure. Enjoyed as always guys, take care !
💥 You need to start bringing a leaf blower to clean those engines out. The site of the debris flying out would make good content.
*Keep on tractoring!*
That old freightshaker is the year model era of the first big rig i ever drove in my trucking career. I bought it from the original owner with 800,000 miles on it. It pulled a tanker its whole life til i put it under a flatbed. It was a long winded non turning old truck it had a 290 wheel base and a 60.inch flattop sleeper . It had a 400 cummins and a 13 speed overdrive transmission in it. I drove it and put about 300,000 miles on it til the cummins was smooth wore out. I had a old fella that always harassed me about buying it because it was the exact same set up.a s his all time favorite semi truck be owned. I sold it for what i gave for it with a .motor that leaked and burned a gallon of oil everytime it had to be filled up.with diesel. It was the most reliable truck i ever owned til i bought a brand new freight liner FL 120 FLST WITH 430 Caterpillar AND A 10 OVERDRIVE WITH 355 REAR GEARS. LOADED TO THE HILT FOR THAT MODEL TRUCK .BIGGEST 70 INCH FACTORY SLEEPER OF ITS TIME AND ALL ALUMINUM WHEELS AND DUAL STACKS BEHIND THE SLEEPER. MISS THAT OLD TRUCK..IT WAS AND STILL IS THE MOST RELIABLE TRUCK I EVER OWNED. IT WAS METICULOUSLY MAINTENED AND WHEN I SOLD IT IT SHOWED 1.2 MILLION MILES ON THE CLOCK AND IT STILL NEVER BURNT AND DROP OF OIL OR HAD ANY AMOUNT OF BLOW BY. SOLD IT FOR HALF WHAT I PAID FOR IT NEW. IT STILL LOOKED LIKE A BRAND NEW TRUCK WITH ALL THOSE MILES ON IT.
Have a love/hate relationship with these 'will it start videos'😀 because I always end up on the edge of my seat willing it to start. I'm sure It's not doing my blood pressure any favors at all!
Hank and Wiley, we love your videos and keep em coming!! From Canada...Dukes of Hazzard, Chips, Love Boat, A-Team, Night Rider, Hardy Boys, Carol Burnett Show, Andy Griffith show, etc...cant beat the 80s for great tv shows....God bless
Thank you for sharing and your APPRECIATION to your subscribers Hank
Way to go, got another one to crank. To bad you couldn't get the pump to work. But still she wants to run. Great program. Take care and be good 👍
This channel never disappoints
Thank you kindly
Everyone make sure you hit that like👍 button
Great video, 3 batteries in parallel and easy connections. Fuel problem for sure. keep those vids coming guys.
I've been watching your videos for a few years now and I love watching your "WILL IT STARTS" Videos... I tried watching other people's Will it start videos and not as good as yours.. they are boring... Keep up the good work Mates...
There the sticks fly into the turbocharger...😁😁😁
The two of you are great together, I love your jokes Hank and Wiley's humour rocks as well. Btw from one wannabe mechanic to another I find it helps if the clutch is depressed when trying to start an old or old vehicle as it saves having to turn the transmission over as well as the engine. Greetings from Northern Ireland 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
Old or cold vehicle lol
Another exciting episode of The Dynamic Duo At Work. Enjoyed this video Hank and Wiley.
Preciate it👍
I'm a 73 year old Vietnam veteran and to be honest with you I would love to just hear the voice of the first one who introduced s the show. She's a real mechanic and beautiful girl! Love your videos!!
Great video guys. Rich over at deboss garage got a cab over with a cat running and restored it recently. He pulled his injection pump from the get go and took it to a diesel shop with testing equipment and they discovered the internals of the pump were seized I believe? The guy basically told him that the cats were prone to doing this if they sit for a long time. Injection pump might come around if you fill the line with atf and let it sit... not really sure, just my 2.00$ because 2 cents don’t buy much anymore 😆 keep up the good work gentlemen
Loved the video. Enjoy watching you guys.
Hey good evening uncle hank how are you doing hope all is well 😊🙏 awesome job today love it keep up the great work uncle hank may God continue to bless you and your family 😊💯💯👍👍❤️😊.
Good try hank and Wiley. Respect you for helping the lady. Old truck looks like it would be worth a few dollars.
Appreciate your efforts.
Thanks to hank and Wiley.
The Iowa farm boy.
Thank you sir
Hank and Whilley that was fantastic keep them coming it runs just a fuel problem you did it never miss a video thank you for sharing and your time was awesome.

I had a 1984 freight liner I used it to haul logs. It had the 425 cat in it. It had a sleeper on it also

Hi guys, really enjoyed that, thank you, keep up the good work.
I'm from Maryland and I like watching you working on old semi
You and Wiley are a hoot, Hank!! 🤣🤣🤣 The only shows I remember in the 80s were the A-Team, Magnum P.I. and ALF....lol. And keep up the singing, ya'll are gonna get a greatest hits CD out soon, I know it! 😄😄😄 Thanks for sharing!
Good shows
Awesome video Hank and Wiley got me laughing on this one . Appreciate you guys 👍
Darn! So close!! Love the dad jokes!! Love the singing lol also making me think about 80s shows and music brought back some memories with my dad and grandparents!!
Great video Hank and Willie. As far as truck engines. I love a Ole Big Cam Cummins or a Caterpillar. But in todays trucking a Detroit is a good engine.
Great video Hank
Be well
Michael Sembello wrote and sang Manic in 1985. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Good job boys , thank you for the video.
An E for effort fellas.... yall gave it a heck of a go.
I'm glad ya'll like each other. I would hate it if ya'll didn't. I think a good sense of hunor really helps.
that truck sound beautiful good restoration will be awesome
A few years ago, I had this one night stand. I really felt bad about it too. So, I went back to the furniture store and bought the other night stand..BAZINGA!!!!😂😂😂

Great video hank and whiley great video fun watching great music to and nice information at start truck runs sweet when going see yous on next adventure god bless
Looking good and a good job and God bless yall
At least it does turn over and will run after the injector pump is serviced. Could try and find a key that will work would be useful. If I had the budget I'd love to own it.
That’s so cool Hank and Wilie
I say you fellas are about ready for a run on the Voice show. I get a laugh or two when you both get to singing! Keep up the great videos.
Great video. The first few minutes of you and Wiley talking looked “green screen” - I guess you’re still fine tuning the new camera equipment and filters.
if I was picking a team , I'd want you guys on my side. Your Good
Nice Freightliner Classic.
Valiant effort!,
Hank and Wiley are THE team. 😊
Just clearing that out is a job by itself.I guess that's the parts we don't see when you make your videos. Thanks for the great videos. Id you ever stop I think I my have to go to some kind of a rehab..😮
Happy November Hank and Wiley 🙏♥️🐕🚛💨💨
🇨🇦 I used to watch the coming and going of those trucks being made when I was a teenager in Burnaby B.C. At the bottom of philips ave. Bby lake. The plant is still here. Till this day. But another company is there now. Cool vid guys.
Y'all are the best. God bless
I don’t know what camera you have but wow how clear it is 👍👍
Howboutcha!! Kitty cays always come back to life
G'day from pj in australia, here in the 80s we watched happy days and mash plus the brady bunch and full house, thanks for the vidio guys, cheers
I think some of these people just let you come out to do a "Will It Start" just to get you out there to do their landscaping work! 🤣
😂
Well alrighty ther then Wiley😀and you 2 Hank. Well done. I would do some research on that fuel pump. If no one grabs it up maybe you could revisit it.❤🐘🇺🇸
You all should get a leaf blower. Love your videos keep up the great work!
Nice video fellas. That truck could really turn into a pearl for someone. It seems that truck has been the birth place for many many mice/rats.
Y'all need to look and see if the fuel line is cut off at the tank some of these older trucks they put water valves down there at the tank where they can shut the fuel off
Good job sir
beautiful freight shaker
Is it the same starter button that dub used after the screwdriver was sparked on her while zee was sitting in the tractor seat
If the rust particles on that old Freightliner stop holding hands you guys are in serious trouble!
Speeding up rush removal looked good
Boa noite muito ótimo esse serviço caminhão meu amigo
Cheers and Night Court were my favorite sitcoms of choice in the 80's.
I’m a cat fan B mod they may be fuel eaters I dunno but I also think that has to do a bit with that go pedal too. Cause I could run right with them electronic guys in them freights
Good evening Hank Wiley and friends . How bout'cha
Another awesome find
Glad you enjoyed it
Next time, you could try filling the feul with feul before you put it on, that's what Iused to do when I was driving. It worked pretty good.
Here in New Zealand we were watching all American sitcoms, dukes of hazard, BJ and the Bear, moving on with sonny Pruitt, and all the ones you have mentioned
"Maniac" is a song from the 1983 film Flashdance that was written by Dennis Matkosky and its performer, Michael Sembello
good job
Super motor grande caminhoes de grande.tradicao demais demais👍👍🤝🤝🤝
Awesome morning guys yall always make my day !!!! Awesome video !!!! Detroit is my favorite !!! Lol !!! Hope yall have an awesome day
Have enjoyed listed to hat you talk about I watch those shows in Ontario at the cottage in Waubaushene, Ont.
I thought I was young till Wiley said he graduated in 77. I gradeated in 70 folks. There were no lectronics when I started. All gears. Early hydraulics . I got away from gas in the 70s. All the early pollution controls. Nasty time. Diesel was easy until, once again, pollution controls. There were dozens of " grey market" unknown manufactures that sneaked in. Good luck with those getting parts. Every day, I wonder. You guys ARE mechanics, or a very cleverly addressed comedy routine
Gotta love it.
My daughter's favorite !
I think the primer plunger is missing 0-rings. You might also have a closed valve on the fuel supply from the tank.
You guys gave your best nice ole truck though thought Wiley was gonna slap ya when you slashed him lol great video
Good job
When you’re trying to pump up those Cats, you need to loosen the nut on the top of the filter housing to bleed the air out.
My dad's cb handle was phanthom 904. That was the unit number on his 79 International Trans Star.
I tend to base my offers by looking at various equipment auction sites.
I remember watching all of those shoes you guys mentioned on this episode of your will it start videos. Other tv shows I remember watching are M.A.S.H, DIMES OF HAZARD Star Trek:tos
Hank,I was yelling at the tv.... it has an airlock and and if you crack the bleeder screw it will let the air out and replace it with fuel.
I just like the style of this truck
The one thing that i cant stant about catapillar is the crappy primer pumps. Friend at work doesn't even bother with the primer pump. He hooks up a home made fluid extractor to the return line. When the hose shows a solid stream, he's ready to start it.
I don't think I have ever seen a working Cat primer.
In 80's New Zealand ... Love Boat, 6 Million Dollar Man, Hawaii 50, the list goes on
Not a sitcom, but as a 5 year old in 1985, I loved watching Transformers, He Man, and Air Wolf!
Great job! well did get some start 🙄
That a beautiful Freightliner 1985
That was my favorite the Freightliner I'm
If you are still interested it was Michael Sembello who sang Maniac in Flashdance.
@ 17:01 As a Swede I´m laughing a bit but also being proud of the Swedish Wrench invented in 1892... 😛
