1. Vivid Weathers is a wonderful (and my preference) alternative to True Storms. 2. Vivid Fallout All In One is a great complete texture overhaul THAT ALSO optimizes itself better than the vanilla. (These two mods also usually make the game have that older orange/brown air that makes it feel more wastelandish) 3. If you dont want to completely change all textures, Optimized Vanilla Textures is a good alternative for performance. 4. Far Away Area Reform, High FPS Physics Fix, and Insignificant Object Remover, are all a MUST for performance. 5. Hitman's right-handed animation replacer mods for the lever action rifle, Nuka World AK, and the hunting rifle. 6. Armorsmith Extended. I literally cant list everything it changes and improves upon lol. 7. Reverb And Ambience Overhaul. 8. More Clothes and Textures is required for me, it significantly breaks up the repetition of vanilla outfits. 9. Snappable Junk Fences makes walling off settlements WAY less of a headache. 10. Survival Options is ESSENTIAL for survival players who want to customize the difficulty to their own liking. I have more if anyone wants, but this is already lengthy as is lmao
@@Thanatos-X-Gaming 1. All of Tumbajambas FULL armor packs (Gunner pack, Minutemen pack, Brotherhood pack as of rn I believe) adds more outfits and like 1 unique weapon in each pack to collect, wear, and just add spice to level lists. 2. Mutant Menagerie Life Finds A Way (ignore all the others, this one is definitive) adds literally so many animals, and unique boss fights across vanilla, AND the DLCs, each having exclusive animals that fit perfectly, and some existing DLC animals integrated into the Commonwealth. 3. All of the "People Live In" mods, add some hefty, but nice additions to a few locations. 4. The "Hunkered Down" mods add less additions but to far more places. 5. (Very Subjective) Mutilated Dead Bodies, adds quite gory (and nude) corpses to many locations, mainly Raider and Mutant camps. It really helps the game feel much more dreadful. But again, not everyone's thing. Not much but I'm not home rn, and I can't remember everything in my 170+ load order. I'll get more whenever I'm home again in like a week
@@Thanatos-X-Gaming Omg I'm finally back home, anyway... 1. Fallout 4 Resound Project - Guns : Makes every vanilla gun sound SO much better. 2. Backpacks Of The Commonwealth : adds unique collectable bags to locations throughout the Commonwealth. Useful for survival too. 3. Grease Rat Garbs and it's LL patches : just adds more spice with quirkier cosmetics. 4. Better Shack Bridges. 5. cVc Dead Wasteland 6 : Adds A LOT to settlement building, may even be too much for a lot of people. 6. Stackable Concrete Blocks : Makes Castle rebuilds much easier. 7. FGEP : Adds new special variants of ghouls. 8. More Feral Ghouls : Adds "freshly feral" skins to normal ghoul spawn pools 9. FGEP reduced idle sounds volume : OG is very very loud... 10. The Rooftops, The Sewers ESM New, The Tunnels ESM : Same author made these 3, repetition is arguable ngl, but it adds a lot of new interconnected areas to explore 16. Equippable Dogmeat Skins Redux : I just love this mod tbh 17. Ceaseless' "Lighting" series : worth checking out, I really like most of them. 18. A Bundle Of Tape : Adds a few VERY well done weapons into level lists, and uniques in places 19. MikeMoore's MCAM : Adds a crazy amount of melee weapons into level lists where you'd expect to find them 20. Legendary Items In Safes : Just feels like you should find them there imo
See Through Scopes zooms the camera in, a mod called Fake Through Scopes does the picture in picture thing quite well and is super underrated and deserving of more eyes.
I have two that I have and that am happy with the results. We Are The Minutemen and, Campsite- Simple Wasteland Camping. The first makes the Minutemen actuality feel like something more than just you and Garvey. First, it gives Preston a new look, along with the ability to craft gear in the Chem station. Second, it adds patrols to the wasteland and lastly, it adds level ranking. As you level, so do the Minutemen and so does their gear. The other, does as the one in Skyrim, (not sure if it's the same creator) adding craftable and purchasable camping gear for you and your companions, including dog beds for our bestest boy. Another good lore friendly/survival mod. You have a great list here, I too have True Storms and am definitely checking out that OCDecorator, maybe even the other furniture mod you mentioned as well. Thanks!
Due to mods, I am once again in love with Fallout 4. I had a total of 3500+ hours on PS. Mind you, those hours on PS were all vanilla. In the last 2 months I downloaded Fallout 4 for my series X and I'm about 500 hours in now. Fallout 4 with mods is so much better and an absolutely beautiful game now. I wouldn't say it looks BETTER than any new game, but it's definitely up there thanks to modders. If i could I would thank each and every one of them.
I’m so glad you mentioned a metro related mod it’s definitely one of my favorite game franchises to the point where I even played through all three games in a row 3 time back to back to back I’d also like to mention I saw a mod on nexus that brings the semiautomatic pistol from metro last light to fallout 4
My problem with almost all gun mods is that they break the game's balance. For example, if you put a rapid fire machine gun in a game that was never meant to have one, and you're essentially cheating. Most gun mods behave in a way that makes the game too easy. While I'm ranting, what is it with modders spamming their mods? Meaning that if I install... iguanas and snakes. Every 10 feet there's an iguana. Get out into the desert, and every 10 feet there's a snake.
Are there any mods that can make Fallout 4 feel a little more like New Vegas/3? Like making the dialogue system more like New Vegas', or changing the menus, or the SPECIAL and perk system?
The constant praise of See Through Scopes annoys me. That is not how scopes work. If you didn't press your eye against them you wouldn't be able to see through them at all. Seeing around reflex sights is one thing, but not scopes.
Will installing these mods basically break the game still on PC after the update? I’ve seen that since the newest update, having mods installed creates horrible frame rate drops.
idky they arent showing up for me on ps5. this is also muy first time playing this game. but ive played skyrim alot i assumed it was the same as DLing mods from that screen as well
As far as I know, PlayStation has a very limited mods compared to Xbox and PC. I’ll be sure to add console availability in the future so people will know what platforms the mods are on. Thanks for watching
As someone who played thousands of hours on PS, I can tell you that 90% of mods aren't available on PS since Sony doesn't allow external assets. If you can, I'd advise you to get it on PC or Xbox series X.
@ that’s why the devs and creators say almost all modern guns are in fallout? They clearly show in NV an Ar-15-service rifle,1950-60s Then a modern M4- the marksman carbine. 1980-current. Stay butthurt ya lil dweeb.

lol you’ve clearly never shot a gun. If you press your eye against a scope then fire.. you will get a black eye every time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jak356 I've looked through monoculars plenty, and if you have your eye six inches from the lens, all you'll see is a little bright dot.
