It thrills my soul to here the 4 yr old sing this song. It thrills me because for a long time we didn't think he would talk. He has had lots of therapy and started with sign language. Well, You probs aren't going to read or see this, but, you're my favorite singer. I'm going to sing this in my church soon and also you are the reason I sing country music now because I started listening to you and then singin' your songs.
I became a Christian when I was 31 years old. I'm 52 now, and I'll be 53 in August. Coming to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior is the smartest choice I've ever made. It's so comforting knowing that I'll be spending eternity in Heaven with Him when my time comes.
I love this song by Blake Shelton. "Savior's Shadow" and "Jesus Got A Tight Grip" are both great songs. It's great to know that Blake is not afraid to share his Christian faith with others. We need a lot more of this from Christians everywhere in these crazy times we're living in.

My mom was a huge blake Shelton fan my mom passed on February 23 2018 from lung cancer. We only knew she had cancer for 23 day's and she gained her wings. I had my mom tickets for us to go to see Blake Shelton at the Houston Rodeo but he came on march 1st 2018 the day we said our goodbyes😪
I've got a lot of respect for Blake. He's the very few country singers trying to live for God from what I've read about him instead doing things just for money.

It's ok not to be a Christian but still be a Christ follower cause as long as your a Christ follower you know that your on the right path cause your doing everything that he would do and not doing anything he wouldn't do.

The song is powerful and you don't have to believe in God or have a religion to apreciate the song. Russell does apreciate the song, it seems. Again, when people say they aren't Christians, it's not an invitation for people to come at us telling us we should call out to God and ask for something we don't feel. We have been there, done that... religion doesn't speak to us, but we aren't bad people for that.
