@@hannahvahala5078 I would love to see the following actors tap dance, do the cha cha and waltz:
Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Daniel Day Lewis, Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins, Denzel Washington, Sean Penn, Judge Reinhold, Russell Crowe, Tommy Lee Jones, Jason Patrick, Joe Pesci, Johnny Depp, Joaquin Phoenix, Matthew McConaughey, Christian Bale, Matthew Broderick, Jim Carrey, Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Will Smith, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Zooey Deschanel, Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, Kristen Stewart, Kate Beckinsale, Liv Tyler, Charisma Carpenter, Kristanna Loken, Kirsten Dunst, Molly Ringwald, Eva Mendes, Winona Ryder and Rachel Weisz.
Ewan, Zach, Tom, Oscar and Robert WOW!!!! they are INCREDIBLE!!!!! I love all their chances to sing especially Ewan he was amazing in Moulin Rouge and then again in Down with Love with Renee - he actually suggested an end musical number to the director which is just incredible!! and Zach's performance at the oscars of I see the light is one of my favourite performances ever!
Top 20 More Actors Who Are Surprisingly Good Singers sounds like a better idea. You didn't mention John C Reilly, Meryl Streep, Jackie Chan, Kevin Spacey, Ricky Gervais, Ryan Gosling, Keira Knightley and many others.
This is at least the 4th or 5th list they have done around this subject. I am pretty sure every one of those you mentioned, except Gervais, has been mentioned in at least one of them.
I would’ve added a few honorable mentions as well, putting Gary Oldman among them - have you ever heard him on the Quest for Camelot? He only sings that one song, but he absolutely kicks a*s.
Anna Kendrick
Rebel Wilson
Anna Camp
Brittany Snow
Elizabeth Banks
Dear, you’re about to name the entire cast of pitch perfect 😉
Pitch perfect sucked, and Rebel had a god awful singing voice.
I loved Grease 2. Wish it got more love.
Diff'rent squids for diff'rent kids...I'm with the majority. I found it terrible.
It's an absolute CLASSIC!❤
I wanted to see Christian Kane on this list but then I saw him with Jensen Ackles and I was like, "I'LL TAKE IT!!!"
I love Christian’s voice!
He is so talented! I'm surprised he didn't get his own spot on the list
He has one of the most unique voices out there! He shoulda been on the list in his own right!
@@wildishwolf I'd like to say I'm surprised, but he gets left off a lot of lists. Like the list of injuries in film and TV. 2 prominent scars, one from Secondhand Lions and one from Leverage.
We need more love for Christian Kane. I have a couple of his albums. I love his voice so much!
what about Andrew Garfield, Tom Cruise in rock of ages, Bruce Willis, Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Austin Butler, Timothee Chalamet, Jackie Chan, Patrick Wilson...????
How about Jack Black who has his own band and absolutely nails Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get it On in High Fidelity? Or Gwyneth Paltrow who did the Cruisin remake with Huey Lewis which made it to #1 on the Adult Contemporary Chart? Or Kristen Bell, who is a better singer than most on this list? Ever hear of a little movie called Frozen? Or Emma Watson who did her own singing in the live remake of Beauty and the Beast? I think these 4 I’ve named are better singers than many on your list.
Jack is a musician who's also acting in the first place, and I'm always puzzled when people are surprised about his amazing pipes.
I agree with @strangefruit42. Jack Black was not a surprise. Gwyneth Paltrow, on the other hand surprised me and Huey Lewis! Although, I knew her mother could sing, so maybe I should have guessed.
Oh gosh that scene in Ella Enchanted cracks me up! It’s such a hoot.
How on EARTH is Bruce Willis not on this list?! 👎🏼
He's not surprising, because shortly after he hit the scene with Moonlighting he did those popular blues ads for Seagrams.
You feature most of the Les Mis cast, yet forgot Huge Jackman? Unforgivable. Lol
Because Hugh Jackman was famous on London’s West End before he was a film star.
@@thedeepfriar745 Hell he was famous on Broadway before being widely known in film. Not to mention, he hosted the Tony's four times.
He was well known on Broadway long before films
What I want to know is how you know that he's huge?
Antonio Banderas is a delightful singer, and Jack Black is mightily accomplished
I would say Jack Black is a singer that does some acting. He was famous for Tenacious D well before he did any acting.
It's funny to me when you have actors like Hugh Laurie who is English, and Colin Farrell who is Irish, you hear them speak in their normal speaking British and Irish speaking voices, but then when they sing they can sound so....."American"....bluesy and country.
Kate sang in sense and sensibility at 19 years old the fact that this wasn't mentioned is a shock
Agreed! She was AMAZING.
I know!!!!!!
I don’t know how Seth MacFarlane grew that nearly perfect baritone. Did he make a deal with Devil? 😉😎 I was gobsmacked watching him sing during BBC Proms.
Renee Zellweger sang in the 1995 cult classic Empire Records. Also, Ewan McGregor sang in the 1997 A Life Less Ordinary. Both were really good at singing then
Came looking for someone to mention A Life Less Ordinary. It's the first time I heard him sing.
Sugar High! She was so cute in that film.
Gerard Butler also sang The Pogues "Love You Till the End" in PS I Love You.
I love empire records
Emilia Clarke has a beautiful singing voice!
I ain't mad at it! Thank you Goldie for blessing us with your talented offspring!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Kate Winslet and Reese Witherspoon.. never realised how accomplished they were, simply beautiful performances x
Hugh Laurie is an accomplished novelist too!
Did you read Stephen Fry's book too? It is...something.
Hugh Laurie is freaking talented ❤❤❤
One of the funniest I’ve ever read! ❤
Alan Rickman surprised me when he sang in Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp. Powerful voice.
no Chris Evans?...
no Hugh Jackman?..
no Cynthia Erivo?..
no Jonathan Bailey?..
no Amy Adams?..
no Ryan Gosling?..
no Tom Cruise?..
no Michelle Williams?..
no Gwyneth Paltrow?..
no Josh Gad?..
no James Marsden?...
no Ansel Elgort?..
no Luke Evans?..
no Andrew Garfield?...
no Anna Kendrick?..
no Kristen Bell?..
no Eddie Murphy?..
no Johnny Depp?..
no Kate Hudson?..
no Vanessa Hudgens?..
no Austin Butler?...
no Zac Efron?..
no Queen Latifah?...
no Jack Black?..
no Ryan Reynolds?..
no Anika Noni Rose?..
Hugh Jackman, Andrew Garfield, Jack Black and tOM cRUISE ARE my favourites.
Gary Sinise & Kevin Bacon should've been on this list.
Wait, Chris Evans can sing?
a lot of them are not "surprising"
Yeah how come there was no Johnny Depp. He can sing! I love his voice.
Minnie Driver is an accomplished singer-songwriter. Saw her in concert.
Minnie's music is really good.
@@electrictwilightI agree!
Kate Winslet should be making albums!
Robert Downey Jr. in Heart & Souls, where he sang Walk Like a Man with Alfre Woodard, Kyra Sedgwick, Charles Grodin, & Tom Sizemore.
Anne Hathaway in Ella Enchanted.
Let's not forget the national anthem from that same movie.
God I love Heart & Souls, such a beautiful movie!
Don't forget "every breath you take' with Sting ( Elly McBeal )
@@shutterbug8860my favorite movie
I love that movie! One of RDJ's best IMHO.
Don't forget Jeff Daniels! He's not only an amazing singer, he's an amazing song writer and guitar player with a dozen original studio albums. Who would have thought?
Jeremy Renner's voice is so soulful and piercing. 😱
Renee sang Sugar High in Empire Records. So good.
"Damn the man - save the Empire!" I didn't love her vocals on Sugar High but boy oh boy she really killed as Roxi Hart lo those many years later!
I was looking for this comment!! It wasn't even mentioned!
My favorite surprise triple threat was Jason Alexander. Like many people I'd only seen him on Seinfeld, so I was delighted to see him singing and dancing in Cinderella.
Years back I saw a concert of the band called The Band From TV. It was pretty much the cast of House MD and Heroes.
So much fun!
never ever thought I would hear a Waylon Jennings song the intro to the Dukes of Hazzard come out of the mouths of the Winchester Brothers I've never seen a single episode of Supernatural but I do know my Country music
I don't think the clip of Jensen singing the Dukes of Hazzard theme was from Supernatural...his co-perforner is actor and singer Christian Kane, not fellow Winchester brother Jared Padalecki.
while I was the most impressed with Bradley Cooper, I love that Jensen Ackles was mentioned. He is a great singer but the most humbled man in the world about his skills
Why on hell Patrick Wilson is not on that list ?? 🤨 Probably the best voice of that list ! He begun has a Broadway actor. Butler is there... but Patrick play Raoul in Phantom and he's the best thing of that movie ! He also sing on Barbara Streisand album, it's the best duo of the album. I can believed how underrated he is, and he's a gifted man (good actor, amazing singer, dancer, drum, guitar, piano... sports, he does a lot of his own stunts). Easy to find a LOT of stuff on youtube with him singing ! ☺
Patrick Wilson is definitely underrated. He recently sang the covered song "Stay" with Ghost for Insidious: The Red Door.
Yeah!!! And there's Benedict Cumberbatch too!!!
❤❤❤
Emmy Rossum, Jennifer Love Hewitt , Mila Jovovich…
Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner
Val Kilmer was PHENOMENAL as Jim. It was like Jim possessed him!
In the Doors they blended the 2 together
I knew about Johansson…I’m a fan of Pete Yorn’s music and she sings with him on one of his albums.
Patrick Wilson is an oversight here. He's a guy who everyone recognizes but not everyone knows and an extremely talented singer.
He started out on Broadway
Elinor Tomlinson, James Roday Rodriguez, Dule Hill and Benjamin Bratt…all amazing voices!
Great list... but: what about Jamie Foxx, Anna Kendrick and of course Mr. Hugh Jackman?
26:38 just wanted to throw in: Seth McFarland was in the Movie Sing as well! (they rlly got all the best huh? Lol) He was the Mouse! :D
Added 5 more: The Rock(Moana), Betty Midler(The Rose), Himesh Patel(Yesterday), Antônio Banderas (El Mariachi) and Peter Dinklage (Red Nose Day).
Jamie Foxx? Hello? Dude has a Grammy and a Nr.1 Hit Single plus one of the most iconic voice samples in "Gold Digger".
I love listening to Robert Downey Jr. sing! It makes my day!
Did a record with Sting
You might want to consider adding Jeff Daniels to the next list :)
Anyway, a nice - and at least sometimes - surprising collection!
watch the video from 2014,2017,2020,2021,2022,2023... in one of them i think is Jeff , Top 10 or 20...
Definitely Robert Downey JR. Happy wednesday morning, Rebecca..take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Happy to see that MacFarlane made the list!! 😊
His voice! Wow ❤
Minnie Driver also needs a mention!
Catherine Zeta Jones is just mesmerizing.
I'm a girl in my 20s that has been crushing on her since I can rmb lol
One small correction: Seth MacFarlane is NOT a "Rhode Island native". He attended the Rhode Island School of Design, but he was born and grew up in Connecticut.
Jensen has sang "wanted dead or alive" with Corey Taylor. You can find the video on UA-cam.
I was already poised to blast you if you had missed RDJ. His duet with Vonda Shepherd for the Aly McBeal soundtrack is one of my absolute favorite songs.
That’s why I love Sing so much❤️because you get to hear Scarlett, Reese, Taron and Seth lovely and awesome singing voices 😊😁 also didn’t Know RDJ could sing he sounds so good 👍 same as Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston and everybody else in this list 😄💖💖
