Arkansas State Police High Speed Pursuit of Suzuki Hayabusa
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- On July 29, 2024, at approximately 0630hrs, I Trooper Bratton observed a motorcycle cutting back and forth through cars
behind me at about the 11MM southbound on U.S. 67/167 in the construction zone. I pulled to the shoulder and allowed the
bike to pass. At this time I noticed that the motorcycle appeared to be a maroon Suzuki Hayabusa with no license plate
attached.
Once the motorcycle was able to get around traffic after the concrete barriers cleared, the motorcycle started to pass traffic on
the right shoulder and continued to cut in and out of traffic lanes. I was able to catch up to the motorcycle just before the onramp to I440 WB. The driver of the motorcycle looked over his shoulder and saw I was trying to pull him over. The motorcycle
accelerated and began to flee as he entered I440 WB. The driver of the motorcycle was a white male wearing a black hoodie
with a orange under shirt, blue jeans, and a white helmet. The motorcycle began passing traffic on I440 WB traveling over
120MPH.
My unit began having mechanical problems and I was unable to keep up with the suspect. I lost sight of the motorcycle at the
11MM of I440 WB so I canceled the pursuit.

This should have been titled, "Trooper Goes For A Scenic Joyride By Himself"
The rider for the most part is only around 3-7 seconds ahead. The Trooper had mechanical problems with his car. Besides, there is a thing called the radio so he is not worried about the rider getting too far ahead.
@@JuergenGDBRadios get beaten all the time by motorcycles and most cars with over 400hp and a top speed more than 160mph.
The old saying you can’t outrun the radio is a myth.
See the video above for an example. That bike is topping out at 180mph plus.
The radio depends on the cop and what he can see. He loses track of the bike and the high has splits, exits and everything ahead. He would have to guess correctly for the radio to matter. And even then how fast can a cop get there ahead of a Hayabusa on an open highway if the cop isn’t already on the highway?
@@noahknight4039 facts so long as they dont see your plate number you can easily out run the police, best place to do it is on the countryside a lot of backroads equals a lot of options, too much road for cops to cover
Dropped a gear and disappeared. Those are extremely fast bikes so no shame on losing him, let alone having to end the chase.
You can tell the cop knew it was a lost cause early on but simply went through the motions.
Was gonna say if you can’t lose the cops on a Busa you don’t deserve to own one!
my only disappointment was that he took as long as he did to disappear, that was a very slow pull lol i ride myself and own a busa so I know what they can do lol
Put the driving public in danger by chasing a motorcycle you'll never catch. Dumb Cops getting their inflated egos roughed up.
Someone Googled Suzuki Hayabusa after their shift.
There was no way he was going to catch that Hyabusa that's a 9sec. Oem bike, thanks for the Video Lt.
Omg people, MOVE OVER!!!
😳😡
Lol, they are Americans, moving over is to logical
Apparently spelling isn't your strong suit @@jeffy2132
@@jeffy2132 heeeey don't blame us *all* just based on the idiots who stand out. I know to pull over out of the way when a cops lights are on, I also know to move over when a cop is up my butt, even if his lights *are not* on lol
AND, this one is really important, so I'll type it slow for the ones who still don't get it... If I get pulled over by a cop for *any* reason, I know better than to try to take off and run! :O
Some people just don't get it, but that doesn't make us allll idiots. ;D
Oh yeah! I also signal before I change lanes and make turns. I even do that when I'm driving a pickup truck.
AND I understand stopping for red lights isn't optional lol crazy stuff, I know ;P
Fast bike. I don't think you would have caught him even if you didn't have mechanical problems. No plate. He was ready for a chase
He had no such mechanical problems. Just a ZOGbot liar attempting to cope.
Win some lose some, but this one never started.
Despite not holding particular feelings towards police forces I am bound to admit they are in a line of work I wouldn't accept doing. As far as I am concerned as a rider of such a bike (generation 3 model) I never ever expose myself to the risk of high speed on public roads. My constant ambition is safety, precision and avoidance of every possible surprise while riding. In a sentence, I won't shoot my own leg!
That is the fastest production motorcycle on the market. I read somewhere that they actually had that tune it down before it could be for sale to the public. I don’t even think a helicopter could keep up with it. only thing they cannot outrace is the registration/license plate. There probably isn’t too many of those on the road.
Yes, the first generation didn't have a speed limiter. Japanese lawmakers made them put one on after they seen what they could do. 😂
All it takes is a few mods and an ecu flash. You've got a 250mph missle. 😂😂😂
To be fair, there are a lot of street legal machines that a police helicopter can't keep up with. Remember the Hellcat that outran a police copter down in Texas a few years ago, and the only reason they caught the guy is because he ran out of gas out in the middle of nowhere?
The Kawasaki ZX14 is slightly faster and the Kawasaki H2 is much faster and both are production bikes. The Hayabusa isn't toned down per say it has a top speed limiter in it's ECU engine control. Lastly the Hayabusa had no license plate on it.
The fastest street legal production motorcycle is is the H2/H2R 😂
That dude was the real gone in 60 seconds 😂
I'll admit it, my feelings get a little hurt when the person gets away! I know they cant catch them all, but it still sucks!🥺🤧
Every dog has his day and that guy will have his
Looks like we got a pro-bono, professional bootlicker over here 😂
@@deadmanswife3625 Not in a busa lol
Speeding isn't a good enough reason for high speed police chases
Never had a chance. That Busa is just too much for almost any car. If the rider has the gas and has the skill, you can forget catching him on an interstate. I'm not saying it's right. I ride myself and have never attempted to run when getting lit up. But I've also seen the police harass bikers when they were doing nothing wrong. Just sayin...
All the blame to those releasing them when they run from police if you legislators make it 10 years mandatory they will stop next time
Naw,, It's 2 years mandatory right now and that does not stop them...
So make them run harder is your plan? Why stop there? Make it 10 years for going over the speed limit.
Not true and you know it. Put your tinfoil hat back on and take your meds
No shame; the Hayabusa is still one of the fastest motorcycles in the world. If the driver has reasonable skills, not even a helicopter can keep up.
That's OK though. There cant be too many Hayabusa in that color floating around.
The Dodge charger tops out at 150 mph the Hyabusa tops out at 200+ mph! Don’t even waste your time and life! You have other traffic violators to catch!
Lol. You can't even SPELL "Hayabusa". That Hayabusa won't do any "200+". That's a 2008 or later Hayabusa, which is electronically limited to 300 kph (about 186 mph).
Doesn’t really matter either way no cop car or helicopter is touching 186 mph. Can easily do over 200 mph with a tune
@@DortonFarb lmao it’s plenty of us in the 200+ club easy to do now days
@@johnharris3335 right
@@Shaun-zp2vl Have you ever considered learning how to ride a motorcycle?
Smart move just calling it off. Don’t jeopardize the public if you don’t have to.
First comment in my whole entire UA-cam history 🙌😂. Love my Arkansas State Police! From Florida🐊🌴🥰🫶
Huge ego to chase a bike that goes over 200 MPH 🤡🤡🤡 didn’t have a shot in a gun range at catching that
Lol. That motorcycle won't do over 200 mph. It might not even be able to reach the 186 mph speed limiter with that guy on it.
And 186 rapidly!! A simple TRE install takes them past 200 if they are tuned well. Not catching it, period!!@DortonFarb
Good you lost him.! What's wrong officer.bikes are way faster then police cars..love my cops but when they try catching I sport biker .good luck.,
This trooper should be fired for endangering people lives on the interstate no reason to try and out run that bike he's an idiot and should lose his license to drive any vehicle forever
The majority of sport bike riders are reckless and selfish when it comes to sharing the road.
Busa said "see ya"😂
Just want to say good morning.
❤
:)
i think the state trooper was endangering many more lives than the motorcyclist.
I think you're comment is ridiculous. Use some critical thinking and stop trying to spread cop hate, mkay?
@@CuriousMess61pretty hard when they're so easy to hate, slick.
@@CuriousMess61it’s common sense dip shit a bike is more likely less common to endangering folks compare to a 3,000+lb car going 100+ on ongoing traffic get your head out your ass and be smart not stupid
This guy will get caught for sure on another day. When you ride one of these superbikes it's just not possible to just cruise around. Like flying an F-16 around piper cubs and Cessnas, it's irresistible to not use that power. (Ask me how I know...)

The Way of the "Haya Busa"
I usually don't comment on this issue but. If a speeding bike hits the back on a car at 140mph rider dies vehicle gets alot of damage passengers get whiplash. The state trooper in a cage hits a car everyone dies. Just saying. 🤔
Next to the last statement of this comment is a lie.
Hayabusa isn’t a small bike, it could do more than give the car passengers whiplash if hitting it from any side at 140mph. It weighs like 550lbs or so, plus the weight of the rider and gas.
Had a hayabusa years ago cost me a leg. Still miss the power and speed
How did it cost you your leg?
To even start a chase was already stupid enough. This country is truly still backward on many laws while claiming to be the best in the world. Germany has the autobahn, when exactly are we going to get one???? It is time to cut the bull scat on making high-speed travel a felony or something to start a highly dangerous chase that can easily end an innocent life that has nothing to do with it.
Good call by the trooper on this one. Not worth risking lives in an attempt to get one last glimpse of a bike accelerating into the distance.
Those hyabu can go 200 mph stock right off the showfloor
Lol, no. That's a 2008 or later Hayabusa. The 2001 and later Hayabusa is electronically restricted to 300 kph, which is about 186 mph.
@@DortonFarb3 minutes and a tuner will fix that...
Trooper Bratton. Please understand, I am not condoning what the rider did. But I have been riding since 1966. 'Busas are not inexpensive, nor are they easy to ride. If he (or she - there are some superb female riders - look up Jenny Tinmouth or Anna Curassco), decides to go away, they will. You will only endanger me on my BMW touring motorcycle noodling along to the next hotel on my month long ride through the countryside. You, on your quest, are far more deadly than the bonehead blowing by on a 'Busa, and you won't catch him anyway.
1500 ain't no joke do you like a motorcycle that ride like a Cadillac that's what they ran like
Great description. Did you get the tag so we can go to his house?
there was no tag
The only thing the Suz Hayabusa can not out run it the radio............if the driver of the scooter knows how to ride, then he's prbly gone.....regardless of radio or no radio....
While that cop has slowed down to a normal speed, that motorcycle is in another town and county somewhere far far up the road
That’s how you ride.
“Gone in 60 seconds “
by the 4:30 Busa is at the house somewhere..
I didn't think they were going to catch THAT one.
I'm pretty sure I've seen that bike in Fort Smith a few times... lol. Hard to catch one of those, also not often you see one.
Teleport mode....engaged, see ya copper 😂
At the beginning he should've waited before he took that exit to fake the cop out boom chase nvr happened
Alex, you got smoked.
Cop putting the public in danger cause the bike took him to gapplebees. He's gonna kill somebody eventually cause of that ego.....
❤️🇺🇦❤️🇺🇲❤️🇺🇦❤️🇺🇲❤️🇺🇦❤️
Waste of time and gas. He should know that cant catch a motorcycle like that with a experience rider.
bro just rode away into the sunset
Hi again, That is sad that he had to stop the chase cuz of his car. Maybe next time. Have a good night
Why does he pass on the right??
The number of left lane blockers seen in these police chase videos is huge.
Here in Australia we have the same trouble - people who drive in the right lane, not passing anything, too clueless or simply too stubborn to do the right thing by keeping to the left.
Passed on the right because ppl are brain dead when it comes to lights n sirens
Love the video can I get pin ?
There will be a next time
Trooper Byrd for the win, its how it plays out.
Thanks for the video! Too bad suspect got away :(
If you're fleeing on a motorcycle, about the only way you'll get caught is if you drop the bike.
Not true, on the highway naked bikes get caught. Because we don't have fairings to tuck behind. At about 150 the wind starts blowing us off the bike.
But in the city, 0 to 130. Different story.
Depends on the bike, but yeah, with a decently fast bike you’re set up to escape.
Own a VMax… so true… while still pulling hard at 130, the ole girl starts doing some weird stuff… so I’ll be happy not knowing what happens above 130.
Or run out of fuel.
He Gone
I have a new hayabusa, live in Sherwood , you wont catch me ! I don't do this stupid crap.
路上が障害物だらけ🤭
日本で良かった☺️
Hayabusa 😂😂😂
He is home the bike now from all of the road debris. LOL! Why waste your time and other motorist lives chasing a bike?
It's ok to lose this one... sooner or later he'll be kissing the asphalt if he drives as reckless as he do, lol
Thanks Lt.❤
Mechanical Issues or not, you’re not catching a Busa on the highway 😂 the 4 Bikes that will absolutely WALK HP are as followed in order:
Ninja H2/H2R
Suzuki ‘Busa
Yamaha R1
GSXR 1k
If the rider is semi skilled and can drag a knee they’re gone. All under 10 second quarter milers 😂
My stage 2 R1 walks busas that don’t have turbo, so I can only imagine how fast that Busa dipped 😂
What about the zx10 and zx14
Well....there's always next time.
Once he hit that open stretch he turned into a pumpkin and was gone🤣
Not really worth the risk to the public...
Ahhh the Busa Bro
almost!

Now thats how u ride
He literally did nothing that required any skills lol
@@oSnapMillerTime He didn't waste time playing with them he got straight to the point

Someone knew how to ride
Why that cop have a job
I vote we get all ASP Hell Cats
That wouldn't have changed the outcome of this particular chase even if he was in a scatpack, hellcat, or a red eye. I know those cars are fast, but they arent 220 plus mph type of fast!
Let's go
Now thats how its done
😮😮😮😮loses
Left yoo azz 😂😂 dummy
Do they ever use stopstix on a motorcycle?
Gone
How did the car catch him in a corner?
The cop dips down an exit to turn off her lites
believe it or not that is more of straight line bike at very high speeds. It is too long for cornering at speeds over 140pm unless its a track type road. Cops often catch up with bikes in the big bends/corners and lose them again on the straightaway.
@@NomadSurvivor Lol, wrong again. There is nothing about the bend in that road, that required slowing down. He slowed down as a fear response, because the offender doesn't know how to ride.
The Hayabusa is no Supersport, but it is capable of cornering far beyond the capabilities of the VAST majority of motorcyclists. I have turned expert-level lap times on my Hayabusa.

Such motorcycles should not be sold at all...
Yeah, the sale of shoelaces should be banned, too, because people can use them to throttle people they don't like. Stay Safe.

@@jhvorlicky😂 exactly
I had a Busa tuned it would run 275 mph...
NO you Didnt. You cannot just " tune" a HyBusa to go that fast. The 2nd fastest one on RECORD was modded with insane Turbo and had over 14,000$ in upgrades
and only peaked 274mph
with the world record at 311mph for a bike that had 25k in mods
A stock Hayabusa max's out at 195 with its digital limiter. With a Stage III kit it can do approximately 225-230mph.
So you're embellishing that claim a fair bit.
Not to mention how hard it is to stay ON a Superbike once you hit that 195-200mph mark.
My V65 Intercepter on 114octane Av-gas and re jetted carbs was unsafe at 177mph and the Fastest I care to go on a Superbike.
weighing 155lbs it wanted to lift me UP off the seat from wearing a helmut that was catching wind when i took my chin off the tank.
anyways.
No, you didn't have a Hayabusa "tuned" that would do any 275 mph. You're suffering from mental illness. Seek competent professional mental health care for your delusions.
@SailProMarina Everything you said is wrong.
Honda never made any "V65 Interceptor".
From 1984 to 1988, Honda made the VF1000F "Interceptor", which was capable of about 100 horsepower at the rear tire, and had a top speed of less than 150 mph.
There is no such thing as 114 octane aviation gas. Using that much octane in a stock motorcycle engine would cause it to make LESS horsepower than 87 octane pump unleaded.
Rejetting carbs on an otherwise stock motorcycle wouldn't materially increase horsepower.
You can't even SPELL "Hayabusa".
No Hayabusa has ever been electronically limited to 195 mph.
1999 and 2000 Hayabusas were unrestricted, and capable of about 196-197 mph under ideal conditions.
2001 and later Hayabusas were electronically restricted to 300 kph, which is about 186 mph.
Seek competent professional mental health care for your delusions.
😂😂😂😂😂that trooper was very very nicely stupid
