- I can't believe I didn't do these 2 mods sooner! This combo along with my AWE Exhaust has truly awakened this car up...not that it's not already a VERY awake monster from factory, but this now turns this thing from Lion to BEAST. I'm having too much fun all over again with this car. No dull moments!

The Z06 is such a badass car. I believe the throttle body is bored out to 91 but the standard “87” markings are left on. Great mod and info!

I did those 2 things to my C7 Z51 7spd. I wasn't happy with the lazy throttle, in fact I hated it. After the install, this guy isn't lying. It makes the car 100x better. It's the 1st thing a Corvette owner needs to do.

Absolutely I’m really glad there’s a throttle body controller for the Z06. I always have a pedal box for my Z51 and my truck. I put them on everything the instant response is awesome 😎

I rememebr the first time I installed one on my C6GS. Holy shit, it felt like a Z06!
I got the Soler Perf 91mm TB for my 2021 Mach 1 Mustang along with the controller. My friend has a '23 Mach 1 with the carbon traps removed and he swears up and down my car is faster than his. I have mine set at SPO 7. It is crazy!!!! I accidently hit LUD mode one time and it was very insane even at low speed.
If nothing else, y’all please get the throttle controller. It makes all the difference. I came from driving Mopar for years, so I’m used to a more responsive gas pedal. The controller fixes all of that. I was skeptical at first, but I’m glad I went on and did that.

Throttle sensitivity controller makes em feel quicker by far of course.
I have the Pulsar LT on my 6.2 with a Jet Performance throttle body and JET MAF sensor.
Seems quicker, but then again I want it to be..LOL

On the edge of buying a C8 Z, I think this video just convinced me to do it! I had a Soler Throttle controller on my C7 Z and it made a huge difference in the quickness and response of that engine, If I get a C8 Z, That may be the first engine mod I do. Does this void the warrantee?

BTW don’t change modes while your driving. I’ve had that same throttle controller on my C7 Z for over 2yrs and I’ve always made sure I came to a stop before changing modes. I saw you just swapping on the fly so I tried it on mines. About a month later I was swapping modes and car went into limp mode. It killed my throttle body. Had to buy another one

Do you have Dyno #'s before you added the T/bodies, and will you dyno after the install? Not much for butt dyno's. Please don't take this as a personal attack. I like real #'s for performance add-ons puchases.

What was the increase after the exhaust swap to the AWE exhaust system?
More involved installing on an HTC. Why when the car was manufactured GM couldn't have designed 87mm knowing the gain?
Why from GM did they not add 20 more HP? Why from GM didn't they make the car 600lbs lighter like the McLaren's? Because there are regulations they have to deal with and they can't full maximize a car from factory because of it.
Is that like Pedal Commander? Looks like it.

This car, the Chevy Corvette, I have waited my whole life to own. The problem I'm having is trying to buy one. I've been dealing with an exceptionally honest dealer Aaron Miller, but the whole team is exceptional at ( Leach Wilson) in Shelbyville IL. They told me from day one that they would sell the car to me at sticker there . I've been waiting for 3 years now to get one. The dealerships have been gouging the customers, and Chevy hasn't been sending them anywhere but to a few chosen dealerships. Some of the people I know have decided not to buy one now. They moved off and bought Audi's or Porsche's. Chevrolet you need to try to get out to the other markets, I've been a Chevy guy, especially performance Chevy, since I was 17. ( I owned a 70 Chevelle SS 396) Now that I've raised my family and waited my whole life, I want the car of my dreams. Please get it to us Chevy purists!

Let us know when you experience pre detonation, and you throw a code. That fuel pump can't keep up. Hopefully, if you argue enough, with GM, they won't void your warranty when your motor blows.

The new throttle bodies are a little bit smoother and more open but it is very doubtful it will make any different for the same cylinders which will take up the same amount of air on each stroke. In other words, it does not increase the amount of air uptake. A big waste of money.

Because grabbing my phone, unlocking it, finding the app, opening it up, then making adjustments, that is a way longer time than just grabbing a controller and clicking a couple buttons
Tbh, if you have money, by all means, but the manufacturer tested all the components for hundreds of thousands of miles for durability and compatibility. When you switch out one part, you are risking to reduce the longevity of the engine as a whole. It’s a 150k car, not a Honda Civic, just leave it alone and enjoy the ride.
Not exactly true. My C6 z06 is modded and at 223k miles, no issues, and I drift it…same original motor LS7, never refreshed the bottom end

The throttle controller does not do what you said it does. It simply amplifies your gas pedal response. It makes 10% gas pedal act like 50% gas pedal. It does make the car feel more responsive to you pressing the pedal but that won’t change your acceleration at all. If you open up just the throttle body but not anything else in the intake path you won’t increase HP at all. Stick that thing on a dyno and try to prove your claims.
