@@TheCoreyMarie these are not the hard plastic full cover tips I was thinking they are. These are meant to be left on. I apologize for my goof up. The hard plastic tips can be used in essence as a shaped dual form.
If I do this with the regular natural nail tips and then remove it so the builder can stay can I apply a gel polish after or would it weak the nail tip .
I would say yes by why go through the trouble (and added thickness)? Color (polish or gel) doesn't chip when applied to plastic (the tip). So you can use whatever color you like for a two+ week application.
With this kit, their gel acts as the nail glue between the nail and a plastic tip. So I’m not sure I understand where you’re feeling sticky gel. Is it possible you mean, after you cured in the lamp it didn’t cure in place and hold the tip? (We can figure this out with a little back and forth here...
really hard to offer suggestions without seeing where you went wrong. My first and biggest, I changed the lamp. I propped it so it sat up in a way I could hold the tip on my nail while putting it into the lamp (both hands). Also, be gentle. Pressing too hard just squeezes gel out the edges. Apply the gel into the tip. Place it at the cuticle first and rock it on as you watch the gel and bubble push to the end of the nail. You can essentially spot cure it in place for 10 seconds to hold it in place and then put just the one nail in the lamp. Thats all I can think of in this moment to help. Good luck!
this is the next video I am working on. I have already filmed it. Just need to get the edits done. It should go live next week (or the following) at the latest.
I just used some thread and hang it from a table lamp arm (lol). I'm thinking about using some nail glue and making it stand on it's side at an angle. I'm going to play around and rest assured... I'll film it ;)
Emily Frink I used thread and a bar that I hang my lighting on. Hanging it was a game changer for getting my nail under the light while securely holding the tip on.
That’s a tough question. How long your artificial nails last depends on how well you prepare your natural nails for application. How well you apply the artificial nails. The length...is it suitable for your lifestyle? And how well you wear them (used as tools or carefully moving through life). Just like any artificial nail they will ride your nail plate as it grows. So they need to be maintained with a rebalance / fill every 2-3 weeks depending on how fast or slow your nails grow.
The clear tip is actually a shaped nail form not to be left on the nail. It will pop off leaving the first layer of gel builder behind
But isn’t that why she buffed the inside .. so it could adhere ? Genuinely asking

Yes you can I been doing it for a year now

How do you remove?
Are these nails made of soft gel like the apre. Like can you soak them off with acetone?
Wilson S. I do not know what they are made of but they do melt in acetone.
after the cured you remove the nail tip?
Aida L. Molina Ojeda no the gel acts like nail glue keeping the tip on.
How do you do refill ?

Thank you!!! How did you hang your light?
