As a fellow sufferer of BPD this book is so unbelievably important to me. It's so comforting to read something that's written from the point of view of someone who is also going through this. I just came out of a four year relationship myself and to see you doing so well as to have hope is so beautifully heart warming. I never thought that I would read something that I related to in such an achingly familiar way. This is totally beautiful and thank you to both of you. But mainly thank you, Hazel. If you hadn't written this, and been through what you've been through, I would never feel have felt this way xx

It is such an original structural concept - I LOVE The Last 5 Years so much and how beautifully heartbreaking it is to know how the story ends before it even starts. I truly can't wait to read this and experience this for the first time, and find my Theo's and Maya's and Lena's. Your pride for this book pours out of you when you speak about each chapter and character and concept and I just can't help but feel so happy for you that this has been so successful. Your book sounds incredibly fascinating, I must have it. Also, you probably have already heard of this, but 'The Last Five Years' is an amazing musical that uses the two main characters to weave the chronologic timeline of their relationship and the reversed timeline through each other. It might be interesting for you to see for if you're stuck with writing the series!

I'm here after just finishing 'out of love' and I just want to say that it's a phenomenal book. It's so raw that I found myself for days as a time feeling the hurt of the main character, letting her pain wash over me and take me to pockets of pain I'd felt in my lifetime. It's a beautiful story Hazel, thank you for writing it x

Oh my goodness! I bought OUT OF LOVE 2 days ago and I am already HALF WAY through it!!! IT IS JUST SO BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN and it's been a long time since I found a book that I truly enjoyed. It's bitter sweet, as I want to read it continuously BUT don't want it to end everrrr!! Congratulations and need to definitely recommend this book!

Sending you so much love Hazel. BPD therapy is a whole world of weird as you learn why you deal with shit. Add on processing therapy, I don't know how you wrote a book at the same time. Wow. Processing therapy once it's complete though is so life changing, entirely life altering. My whole life is different because of both types of therapy (I completed DBT for BPD last year) ☺️

Self publishing is fine, but without a professional editor most people are fucked. Even at the beginning somebody telling themselves they know what they thought was true. Isn’t that obvious? Most people don’t go around lying to themselves in their own heads. It is just a waste of words.
