I bought the keyboard 2 weeks ago and im extremely satisfied with it. The keycaps feel a bit cheap but regarding the price its totally fine and i got used to it quickly. A hell of keyboard, definitely recommend!👌

Great review, Just received mine Sunday. Very impressed, for $60 shipped to my door, and only took 4 days shipping time. I am a stickler when it comes to my pc peripherals, and can always find something i don't like a product, but in this case, for the price point, i can't complain about anything. I give this keyboard a 9.9 / 10.

Im writing this with, effectively, a Redragon K556 Devarajas, and I gotta say, its surely a very good choice for a cheap mechanical keyboard. It has a lot of really cool lightning effects, and for 60$ (I paid 80$ in total for shipping) its a really good experience. However, dont install the drivers/software from the disc, download it from the Redragon Website. Anyways, that is my feedback about this keyboard. Bye, and as always, keep it fresh (maybe SOMEONE will understand that final phrase lol)

Great keyboard. I got the red dragon k552 which had the rgb lighting but were cherry blue and was 10 keyless. I didn't realize how much I used the 10 key, so I got the k556 which had the 10 key functionality, but just as importantly, was cherry brown which is quieter than cherry blue and equally as responsive. I still also had the rgb lighting goodness and easy to customize via software. I appreciate the fact that the lighting is not harsh but soft and my fingers feel like it's dancing with the keyboard. All in all, red dragon keyboards are solidly built.

Have had the K556 for quite a while now. The keyboard is build like a tank and feels great for typing and gaming.

Now, for the people who still watch this video and think of buying this keyboard. The good thing is about this keyboard is probably the price, as it varies about 70 dollars. You get pretty nice RGB lights double-shot caps (even though they're abs), and software so you can customize it (not the best software, but still), but the worst part is the switches. Not many people now this actually, but outemu's are the worst ones to be ever purchased. They're usually don't last long. ANY OF THEM. But again, the good thing is that you can replace them, and right now there tons of good ones, just keep in mind the amount of pins (the switch that want to replace outemu with should have the same amount, size and placement of pins) and LED (some switches have this little "hole" for LEDs, some don't, because, obviously they're meant for different kinds of keyboards.).
what do you recommend to buy for this price range? , i want a keyboard for competitive gaming, it should be budget friendly,,,

PS - be cautious of speedlink products. I had a gaming keyboard and mouse from them for 5 months now and the products themselves work well but the software is utter trash!The keyboard started virtually sticking on the ctrl key, and removing the keyboard was the only solution. Now even the mouse software can't update new settings like changing the light scheme or a button assignment. It's really frustrating..

How is the Keyboard Redragon Devarajas K556 after 2 years of use?
Redragon is like OnePlus, only with keyboards. I have it, and I LOVE IT! As for the replacement switches, Redragon changed their approach and tossed in brown switches which makes sense, no one needs 8 blue switches when you have a brown switch keyboard.
Also, comparing to other keyboards, the wave effect looks pretty tacky which is due to the fact that the LEDs are programmed pretty bad and fade too quickly to the next color. But, in person you don't really notice it. Also, you might see that the part where the Enter is, is a little out of sync. It's not that noticeable unless you stare at your keyboard. Only fix is to choose another light effect.
With this keyboard i can just remove de outemu switches and replace it witch cherry mx and it still works?

Can you change the space and enter and backspace keys with blues?

Yeah, redragon just sent me a new one even though the warranty was 7 months expired.
The new K556 has upgraded led's and/or firmware so the led's look way better than the old one.

hi, can you tell me the model number of the dell monitor that you're using?
I bought the redragon K561 RGB and in the manual the didn't say to download any driver and the didn't even mention it but I downloaded it anyways and you can actually change the color of the keys individually

You should review the k557 kala. It outemu blue switches, gold plated usb and braided cable. Plus it has extra 2 red, black, brown, and blue switches included.

I got mine last June 30 as a late birthday gift for myself and brown switches is so much better than my current Redragon Sani with blue switches. It is quite heavy that it is almost like a weapon and looks better than the aforementioned keyboard I'm currently using. The "E" key's LED is busted after like 4 months with my Sani. Well it's cheap at roughly $32 which what I get from this keyboard.

Redragon ONLY makes OUTEMU boards. Unlike Drevo who has a low end line, mid end line and a high end line
can i set the backlight as any solid color? searching around and i can't see if you can set it as solid color backlight (example: white only)

funny enough i just had the luxury to buy one yesterday, and it worth i imo. the only thing that bothers me(same for all of the budget mkb i always see) they don't have backlighting on those function keys

I got this keyboard compared to my steelseries M500... and the day i got it, some of the keys aren't even registering properly. I keep testing my old keyboard compared to this one, and when i type things like facebook... sometime the space bar or the e key doesn't register. I don't know why. I do the same thing with my other keyboard, and everything registers perfectly. It makes no sense.

Removable switches - good, when some of them do a malfunction. Easy and cheap replacement when out of warranty.
There is something I don't understand, can you guys help me out? On the shot at 0:49 the edge of the keyboard appears to be silver. I see this on many other shots and other reviews. Is it just different angle so it reflects light differently, or is it actually a different color/texture/idk.... Thanks :)

For example; The rainbow wave he has just shows red green and blue, like my old one did. The new one shows all the colors. The whole thing just looks way better with the upgrades they did. I love mine.

No. The Cherry MX switches have a larger diameter on the pins so you would have to sand them down to make them fit into the Keyboard.

I downloaded the driver off the www.redragonzone.com/pages/download website and had no problems
kinda confusing about the switch type since it is marketed as a keyboard with outemu switches where the spares are also outemu blues unless i am not aware that kailh also manufactures outemu switch types. i also own this keyboard btw and it is awesome for the price. would be nice to have this clarified though
I'm not sure, could be that Redragon uses a few different types. I know like some headsets differ from country to country. But all of them are very close to Cherry switches.

Bought a Logitech G413 carbon, had it for a week, returned it and bought the Redragon K556😂😂 the Romer-G switches on the G413 felt too mushy for me. The K556 is crisp and clean. A much better product
