i love this session i remember listening to it at the time ,I have met and played support with the Vibrators many times ,had our first single Engineered by Pat Collier and Knox later recorded a version with us and has appeared with us on stage on more than half a dozen times. The Vibrators are one of the most underatted bands around and influenced many people . This session was a great changing point for many great music and time for people to join together to realise rock is what you want it to be . ..cheers for posting this session .

I read Chris Speddings autobiography The Reluctant Rock Star, a brilliant read the amount of musicians and artists he’s worked with is absolutely outstanding. He was a real champion of early UK punk when virtually all ‘serious’ musicians wouldn’t give them the time of day

Chris Spedding is a great guitarist and has rock and roll great services. Mick Green, deceased, was another great guitarist. Always impressives, guitars like razors.

I saw Chris and Robert Gordon in a small place here in Copenhagen about 10 years ago, a pretty small crowd but still an excellent show. Chris has done so much over the years, apart from Motorbiking! He was a womble on TOTP.

Misunderstood , interesting - the early workings of Stay Dumb , of which it did become a much better song obviously , cool

wow spedding was over 30 and had to slum in the land of punk after being in the forefront of Brit UK jazz fusion rock. Too much time spent with eno/cale im guessing! chris was everywhere at once!

Not really slumming it, the vibrators were an acomplished group of musicians, which is why they were to some degree ostracised by those that considered themselves to be "real punks"

Never mind the bollocks, Steve Jones denies it completely. And in fairness I think Steve was more than capable.

Oh C'mon dude !! It would be kinda cool ! But it ain't true ... Spedding did record them & most likely helped in getting a great guitar sound but as for the playing , if it was Chris I'd be thinking it would have sounded much different

the only true legend about chris is that he refused to replace Mick Taylor with the Stones !

Spedding produced Sex Pistols first demo recordings. It's not him playing on NMTB, Jones did a surprisingly good job and has a completelyt different tone. He ended up playing most of the bass parts as well.
