    You made this video just in time for me so I can actually understand the features of what I am buying. Thank you.
    We just had some -40c (without wind chill) weather and I was really in misery while plowing snow in the wind. I'm going to be more excited than a kid on Christmas when this gets installed.

      You are going to absolutely LOVE being warm and protected! We just had -30 here and I was out blowing snow in jeans and a light vest. Had to take my hat off because I was too hot!

    I just watched your video and I have the Tektite cab on my Kubota BX2380. I wanted a cab that was approved for roll over protection. On my Kubota the ROPS was removed and I store it in the garage. My Tektite came with front and rear LED floodlights which are awesome when I’m up at 6am blowing out driveways and a front wiper. I didn’t need a rear wiper. I added two rear view mirrors after I bought the mounting brackets from Tektite. This fall I added a 12v magnetic mount strobe to the roof of the Cab that I bought from Amazon. I ordered the rocker switch from Tektite and cut the 12volt plug and hard wired the strobe to the switch panel. The switch panel is already wired to accept a rocker switch. It makes a huge difference for safety wise operating on or around the street in the dark. I have to say that the heater is fantastic on those -20 windy days at 6am and that wiper sure puts a smile on my face when the snow is blowing back at me and all I have to do is push the wiper rocker switch! The strobe I bought was an Xprite 240 LED. I picked the strobe pattern I wanted before I cut the 12 volt plug off as per the advice of another UA-camr. I did notice the noise level was higher than without a cab so I wear the foam ear plugs and they cut the noise down nicely! The Kubota and Tektite cab have seen a lot of tractor time this winter here in Sault Ste Marie. I wish I could post a pic of the amount of snow we have. I’ve gone through 4 five gallon cans of diesel so far! I do 4 neighbours driveways and if I have time before work I do a fifth. You will love that cab.

    How's she goin'? There is no doubt a cab is a great add to any tractor. They are expensive, but worth it. Once you plow or blow snow with the cab, you'll never want t be without it!! Thanks for sharing this review of the Tektite Cab system!!! Take 'er easy!!!

    I put a Cozy Cab on my new X750. Very happy with it after two years now. There is more room inside. The doors are larger and shut with the same sound. The heater works great as I can blow snow in my shirt sleeves. I leave it on year round. Take front panels and open front window. It is fine in the hot summer. Looks like this cab would be fine also but the small inside would be a problem for me at 6'3".

      I’m glad you’re loving your cozy cab. Maybe one of the mods or tips I post will be good for your Cozy Cab too! I just had a guy asking me about the fans I used for a Cozy Cab so some of this is definitely transferable.

    My 2004 New Holland had a Curtis cab, it was more like an erector set than a cab. It was so loud, I had to wear ear protection. My 2021 1025r came from the factory with the Mauser cab installed.
    It's way more quiet than the Curtis but still has issues, as they all do. JD says it comes with a tool box... wrong, there is no room for one. If you open the front window, you can shatter it with the loader. Because of the cab, the engine side panels are almost impossible to remove, I really like how Tektite handled that. As you found, the hose connections are so close the the underside of the cab floor, that it's very difficult to connect/disconnect the hoses. Because of this, I spent almost $900 to have the single-point connector installed. The drive over deck did not work as advertised. It was so bad the dealer took it back. Overall, I like the 1025r, I just wish the cab had been better engineered.
    Question, do you have difficulty getting the tranny into Low? I can get mine in about 50% of the time. Otherwise, I must leave it in neutral and press the reverse pedal, then try again. If that fails, I put it into High, run it and then switch to Low. My son just took delivery of a 2021 1025r with cab and his tranny works perfectly.

      Thank you for the detailed comment! Yes, every cab has things people like and dislike - it just boils down to what your individual needs are, and what you can live with as a result. I needed a rugged cab that offered me a lot of safety from roll-overs/crushing as I do a lot of forestry and loader work. As for the transmission, no I do not have any trouble switching into low gear unless I accidentally leave the parking brake on while trying to shift. Other than that it works perfectly.

      I saw a guy that just posted a video on how to adjust your transmission linkage if your tractor creeps when u are in gear not moving/ need to put it in gear and it’s hard. Sorry I don’t know the name of the video but the fix is really easy and would take about 15mins to adjust the under seat linkage

    That’s a very nice looking cab. I never heard of the Tektite brand until now. Always used Cozy or Curtis cabs in the past which are very decent too. I’m not sure how they compare price wise but I would think they would be comparable for the most part. Nice little walk around video and thanks for the tour.

Maybe that why all the windows & doors come off.Thanks for the great Video Sir and happy safe tractoring .

    Hello, just came across your vidio, I have the 1025r also my second year I had it I had the cozy cab in stalled it worked but not to my likings, I then found and had the tektite cab installed and what a difference that made. Awesome can, the only thing I didn't get was rear wiper. But yes they do heat up in a hurry. And it's nice that rear window comes out so you can still use the backhoe. Glad you like yours you won't be disappointed.

      @fixinwithford3484  2 роки тому +1

      I’m glad you found it worthwhile! At 6’4” you may run into the same problem with most cabs - most don’t “bump out” at the back to accommodate the seat being in the furthest position. My suggestion for you would be to modify your seat so it sits straight up at the back, thereby giving you clearance to put the seat farther back.

    On your loader Hydraulics, just turn your hoses up and they will go over your loader mounting bracket, you have then turned down. I know Deere didn't start making factory cabs till 2019, did you think of just trading for a new one with a factory cab? The resale on the 1025R is very good, probably could get what you paid for it.

      The cost issue is a point to consider whichever make you choose (Mauser/Tektite/Curtis).
