    All those electronic devices are good till the tractor gets hit by lightning sitting in the field. Worked on a JD 4755 that got hit one weekend and it took 2 days and several electronics being replaced before it could leave the field. I have worked on red,blue, and green over the years and JD always had quicker parts availability. Some of the others ordered one day a week and if you called the day after you had to wait another week to order. Another issue I have seen with Agco is trying to find parts diagrams for older MF tractors. I can look up JD ,NH , and Kubota parts, select a dealer and get prices. Give me a New Model 4020 tractor and I would be happy!

      @@zzirSnipzz1 We used to only have New Holland on the farm, but they were often standing around with breakdowns rather than doing their job. New Holland really doesn't build anything for longevity. Now we have MF and Fendt and are very happy with them. The purchase costs are higher but so is the reliability and when we trade them in, we have much better residual values. I've been doing snow for 20 years at home and at work and I haven't found a better tractor for our commercial work. The biggest issue with the gold star program with Fendt. They put having spare tractors on the dealer. They dont supply them. They make the dealer buy enough of them to self support a certain percentage of the machines they have sold in the last 5 years. Start stackimg up new machines that can't be sold untill after the machine is 5 years out of production its its a hige added cost to the dealer. The are also over enginered in my honest opinion. While ts a cruse control issue the customer support ended up having me test through 3-4 different computers to find the issue. I ended up replacing two of them to grt cruise back for my customer. Needles to say that was an expensive repair for them even after we wrote off a lot of labor.

    • @jonniessink1
      @jonniessink1 2 місяці тому +1

      No this won't replace a skid steer for a couple of reasons. 1. This particular tractor is roughly double the size of a normal skid steer. So maneuverbity is a lot less then a skid steer. 2. The loader arms a to weak for serious dirt work. Will it do the work... yes but not as efficiently as a dedicated loader. It's more used for lighter material like hay bales, grains, cow feed, etc. So about 4,000 to 6,000lbs of lift capacity, where a normal loader can do about 8,000 to 10,000lbs of lift capacity in the the same weight class. This tractor is like a multi tool. It can do a little bit of everything.

New dealers, not many dealers, and slim parts available on the shelf, translates to big problems. All I'm saying is if you can't support the tractor, whether it's better or not, it might not be worth it. And then there won't be a big aftermarket parts availability because its a new machine on the market. One has to consider, do I save money up front and it costs me more money down the road, is it worth it? Name brand machines might not be the best out there, but they will always be there. You do what you want, but be advised that some of these companies may prove to be just great. BUT, some of these companies will just disappear, or be bought out by other companies, and then you kind of get yourself in a position you don't want to be in. Not everybody can work on their own tractors or know where to source parts for repairs. Some don't have the time to do that stuff, and others don't want to work on the stuff and prefer their dealer to take care of it. The point of the matter is. it's not just that this Fendt out specs and out performs other brands of tractors, it' how is this going to be for me in the long run? And yes, it might be cheaper up front, but remember it's going to be worth less at trade in time too. Do the math, and figure out what's the best move for your operation.

    It’s weird looking at it and watching all the European farmers, protesting and seeing tractors that look like that in those protests. I want one so when the government tries to stop food production here and turn us into communist subjects, we’ve got a cool tractor to drive around on and protest with. 😂

    You can spec out a 6S Massey tractor with basically the same options and it will be cheaper and it won't have the duetz. It will have a common platform agco engine that doesn't suck. Integration between an Agco engine and cvt is hard to beat.

    Kind of comparable to a Mercedes car, but perhaps slightly more robust. Here in Sweden they have been sold for at least 40 years. Expensive but quality as far as I understand. Farmers that have them drive them for 30, 40 years and can be very attached to the brand. Similar to people having old Mercedes cars.

    I don’t wanna sound too negative but I’ve been around a few fendt’s had them on the farm and have some friends that work on them and… they suck.. that thing probably threw a code while they where going over the brochure and cleared codes 20x to get the video shot. When compared to case, new holland and Deere… I’m sorry you couldn’t pay me to put one of these things on our farm. The 48hr window fix it or replace it .. your going to need a few spares on the lot while the parts are flown in or riding a boat over here cause that thing going to have issues and so will the rental. Our neighbor got a big 2 track spent 10 outta 11 weeks broke sitting in the yard machine was brand new! Are you kidding me?? Sorry to vent in your comments Stan but fendt aka agco doesn’t have anything to sell imo ✌️

  • @anttiperala9973

    Fendt is considired the absolute best around here in nordics, alltough Valtra gives really tough competition and probably has majority because its designed, build and used in these demanding enviroment.
    I dont know about absolute plowing tractor, they are one of the best as tractors for sure no doubt about that. BUT you cant get loader supports mounted on the front like other brands, and fendt themselves dont recommend running plough on the front 3-point linkage. If you plough without support your loader will get wrecked wayy faster than with supports.
    Also you can get pretty much anything from AGCO company, Valtra, Fendt and Massey Ferguson with same level options. CVT only Valtra and Fendt I dont think massey has at that HP range.
