I used 2 Autotrends 12v suction fans (www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/autotrends-12v-suction-fan-0372415p.html) then screwed a circular magnet to the end of each suction cup. I got the hi/low speed control by wiring in an inline 27 Ohm resistor. I’m sure that Canadian Tire is not the only place to get them - they are probably online under some different names. The fans are small but tucked nicely out of your way and move a surprising volume of air. I hope this helps!
How's she goin'? Nice mods to the cab. I have a Massey Ferguson GC2300 with a soft sided Curtis Cab. I like to see other guys cabs and what they have done to it to make it more user friendly. This was a nice add. Pretty nice that you were able to do this without having to drill any holes in your cab. Great channel BTW. I'll be back!!! Take 'er easy!!!
Glad you’re liking the channel so far! Yes, I like seeing what other guys come up with for their cabs and attachments too. Massey is a quality tractor btw.
Thanks! The beacon light is a Traveller 12 inch Magnetic Amber Light. I got it at Tractor Supply Company in Buffalo, NY. The link to it is here: www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/traveller-led-amber-light. Its a 36 Watt 24 LED light. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hey nice setup man I have the same tractor and love it. I priced this cab its like 10 000 at my dealer in canada its on my wishlist
Nice work, sweet set up! Where did you get the magnetic based fans? Been looking for a fan option for the cab of my x734.
