Here's my take on the expensive implants:
1- For a newbro, someone under 10m SP, skilling up is the goal, and you are better off using implants that boost stats, not combat or mining ability.
2- They're hugely expensive, and when you're a newbro with limited assets, they represent a huge chunk of your wealth
3- Compared to modules, implants are meaningless, when it comes to giving you more combat ability. Any T2 module on a ship is far more valuable and useful than an implant
4- High value implants increase the kill mail value of your clone. This is doubly bad because not only will gankers go for your ship, they will go for YOU. In fact, if they suspect you have some really good implants, they might hunt you down, even if the ship you're in isn't otherwise worth it.
So, stick to basic, relatively inexpensive implants. And if you're mindful, don't use a clone with valuable implants when you go to particularly dangerous areas. Weigh that risk vs reward

I think 3 accounts is the sweet spot. Running 1 orca and 2 hulks right now and really like it.
move your whole overview up and make the compression window min height and the width of your inventory, makes it look like its a button on your inventory

Hi, thanks for some great content....I have a question though, that I think you haven't covered regarding using the Orca with 1 or 2 barges/Exhumers....It might be a nice subject for a video.
If you keep an eye out for incomming gankers and see them landing on grid how long will you be able to use the option to put your ships in the ship bay of the Orca? I know the barge/Exhumer has to empty of ore but can it be done while yellow-boxed or even red-boxed? Im thinking the Orca is pretty safe from small gangs if in destroyers, so they will go for the small ships. You could perhaps even put a couple of max dps destroyers in the bay so you could switch the 2 barges/exhumers directly with destroyers and help the Orca if targeted taking some dammage of the field?
Im running dual boosters on my Orca just to give Concord more seconds to come to my aid....haven't been ganked yet (in the Orca), so dont know if it will help me or not. I switch the afterburner for mwd when traveling.

I wasn't, 3.18 kind of annoyed me with them resetting things every few days. More SC vids are coming though.
You dont use crystals? You are also on indy core, what do you do if gankers come ?

I disagree with your logic on implants. You are looking at it as if you can resell it, a physical value if you would. But implants are a booster value, non physical. The time that your implant saves on skill training can be calculated into raw ISK per second based off of injectors (scales based off total SP). Booster implants to non attributes have a mixed value. The implants that give a return on harvesting/processing/production all have a time based value attached. The ones that boost things such as agility have a personal value, how much would you pay to have that boost?.

The idea to just gather the resources I need for industry myself instead of buying them is a nice idea on paper, but in reality makes little sense to me to mine cheap ore when I can do something else which pays 3 times more and just buy what I need on the market for cheap. I mean, if you're in sov null away from everyone and everything I guess you'll have no choice but to mine it all. Otherwise feels like a waste of time/effort/isk in my opinion.
The asteroid is depleted, the asteroid is depleted, the asteroid is depleted....nah thanks. They ruined mining/industry. Even with a hulk built for 70+k ehp, you still guna get ganked. Also orca you should go full resists on mids, T2 shield rigs, 400k ehp on orca is super low, will get ganked and the shield extenders are not % based so add nothing except sig radius which means you take more damage from torps/blasters...also missing shield amount boost top slot on orca which is a must. Even with 3 hulks and an orca you make basically nothing per hour, under 200 mill...
In nulsex they dont deplete but they're worth nothing and you cant build anything with them, max rorq in a hulk and you make less than ishtar which pays your direct to your wallet and needs like 10 clicks every 30 mins vs 10 clicks every 80 seconds

@@Helin0x99 Even ice mine sucks because the belts are gone in 30 mins and over farmed, take 4-6hrs to respawns and are always gankers around ice belts.
Playing on an alpha account while using any other (omega or alpha) is against TOS, even on another computer.
Man, hi sec mining will put you to sleep... Null/wormhole is way more engaging.
