Apparantly Fear Of The Dark doesn't exist 🤪 My pick for that is easily Weekend Warrior
I guess you just don't fear the dark enough
You could've left it off the list and I still would've know it is the weakest. I know you it would be your pick before the ranking started
I actually like weekend warrior a lot, I’d probably pick the apparition
@@logancribman Good point, this song is so blatant that I couldn't even recall its existence. lol
Plus, I like ⚽, so WW makes a lot of sense for me.
Either Weekend Warrior or The Apparition, which is just boring and repetitive. Can't decide which I like less.
The Prophecy is actually an interlude song between the songs preceeding and following it. It has complex midevial harmonies. People who understand music usually like it.
I absolutely love that song.
It’s probably my favourite on that album
for me it's the best song on seventh son.
It lacks a really strong hook, but yeah, all those harmonies are brilliant
The Duelists is a fecking masterpiece in metal music! Bruces vocals are one of the best, the guitars arrangement.. i don't get how so many people over look that song. I think because it's not the kind of song played live so you hear more of the powerslave, aces high, Mariner etc, but anyone reading this, go check that song out again, it's so so good
The duelist and quest for fire are some of my absolute favorites lol
The Duellists is one of my favorites song. That instrumental part in the middle is mind blowing. And vocal melodies...oh boy. Killer song!
@@slobodanmedojevic6336 I know right, some songs get over shadowed because they're never played live.
That song is amazing. So underrated
There are many underrated songs, let me list some of them:
Back in the village
2AM
Lord of the Flies
Sea of Madness
Don't look to the Eyes of Stranger
22 Acacia Avenue
Ghost of the Navigator
Flash of the Blade
Deja Vu
Days of Future Past
I've been a Maiden fan since 2005, and I always am shocked how their music is STILL growing on me. I had some songs I didn't like much (some of them classics) and now? Love them!
I used to really dislike half of Powerslave...now I think the album is BEAST
Maiden fan since 1986 and their music is STILL growing on me! This band is so rich, don't think I'll ever be tired of them. 🤘🤘
POWERSLAVE is pound 4 pound and song for song the greatest IRON MAIDEN ALBUM EVER.
Same! Fan since 2000 and I've worn out everything of theirs. The sign of how special they are to me & the quality of their catalog is that even tho I'll 'put albums on a back seat' for a while, when I do go back to them, they still resonate, sometimes even more than before & that certain songs will stand out more than they used to for me. This band has spoiled us fans with a treasure trove of music to dive into for generations. Their music is eternal \m/
After 20 years listening to Maiden I'm still "discovering" Somewhere in Time and Brave New World. It's crazy. On the other hand, I'm getting tired of the Dianno albums, that I used to love. The best thing about Maiden is how many different vibes they had
I enjoy Gangland (like the speed of it) and Heaven Can Wait (love the vocal chant in that one gets me pumped every time)
Quest I think they should have put Total Eclipse on the Number of The Beast album instead of Gangland. Also on Seventh Son Can I Play With Madness seems out of place with the rest of the album. Good video dude.
I totally share the opinion with "CILWM?", plus it is kinda overplayed.
I would keep gangland, delete invaders and add total eclipse
Agree about can I play with madness it doesn’t fit at all.
@@duncanworman6587delete invaders?? Do you smoke crack??
"Lost in a Lost World" is a beautiful, touching song about the loss of a culture that, interestingly, tells the story about Native Americans with old Irish melodies. On paper, it is not something that should have worked, but the actual song is a stroke of brilliance. Very unique. And isn't unique, authentic music what we hope to get from rock and heavy metal as an art form?
"Fates Warning" is Maiden perfection. The lyrics in the bridge are so unique and thought provoking, as is the whole song, the solo is a slam dunk, the guitar harmony is classy, and the pace at which the song progresses is the perfect mid-tempo. Class from start to finish.
"Back in the Village" features some mind-blowing precision guitar work that we haven't figured out how to play correctly to this day.
"Gangland" is a song for the sake of the song. It never wants to be a hit and, therefore, has an enduring quality in that you can't overplay it and get bored of it, because it resists the fatigue that overplaying can introduce.
"Quest for Fire.' Find even one other metal band that has thought of singing about dinosaurs and the importance of fire to early humans. Some find the song cheesy, but I think it's what sets Maiden apart, again, and puts them in a class of their own.
"Mother of Mercy" is wonderfully macabre. It is Maiden's modern-day equivalent of "Children of the Damned."
Agree on most. For me the Fates Warning biggest sin is that the hook sounds too much like The Claivoyant's. But I ain't complaining
Still Life is super underrated. If it had the original title "Piece of Mind" you can be sure it would be one of their most famous songs
Oh yes, it is GREAT
I like Quest for Fire even better. So overhated
Maybe a video like this for Opeth? Or a video for best song on each album for Iron Maiden (the second best band of all time)
The second?? After Black Sabbath, I hope... 🤔
The Prophecy got a new lease on life thanks to the acoustic version by Thomas Zwijsen - what a gem it is with the extended outro.
Iron Maiden: Charlotte The Harlot
Killers: Drifter
The Number Of The Beast: Gangland
Piece Of Mind: Quest For Fire
Powerslave: Losfer’ Words (still good)
Somewhere In Time: Sea Of Madness (Still Love it)
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son: The Prophecy
No Prayer For The Dying: Title Track
Fear Of The Dark: Weekend Warrior
The X Factor: The Unbeliever
Virtual XI: Angel And The Gambler
Brave New World: i can’t pick a worst song, but probably Brave New World
Dance Of Death: Wildest Dreams
A Matter Of Life And Death: The Longest Day
The Final Frontier: Isle Of Avalon
The Book Of Souls: The Man Of Sorrows
Senjutsu: Lost In A Lost World
1. Strange World (still like it )
2. Prodigal Son
3. Gangland (still really like it)
4. Sun and Steel
5. Flash of the Blade (love it)
6. Heaven Can Wait
7. Can I play with Madness
8. The Assassin
9. Weekend Warrior
10. Look for the Truth (still like it)
11. Don’t look to the eyes of a stranger (still like it )
12. Out of the silent planet (love it)
13. Gates of tomorrow
14. Out of the shitty shadows
15. Coming home
16. Tears of a clown
17. Darkest hour
I’m pretty sure I did a video on this already. Definitely agree on some choices here like Gangland, Back In The Village, The Prophecy, Angel & The Gambler, and a few others. I actually really dig Lost In a Lost World. But yeah sweet vid!
No Prayer for the dying is really underrated. The only thing I don’t like is the production
I agree. Stripping their sound back to its foundation immediately after flirting with prog really caught people off guard. I love it though.
Also, No Prayer For The Dying is one of my top five Maiden albums...😂
Soooo underrated. Tailgunner is a nice opener, Mother Russia gets ignored for no reason and it's one of the best epic closers, title song goes deep, Run Silent, Run Deep, The Assassin and Bring Your Daughter are really fun... Holy Smoke and Hooks in You are hard rock anthems... Very little to dislike on No Prayer
I watch your videos often...figured it was about time I subbed.
I love Gangland. I also thought it would have made a REALLY GOOD top shelf Paul Di'Anno song if it had been on one of the first two albums
It totally makes sense! I also like Gangland as well. And it would sound better with DiAnno vocals
I respect your views, though I strongly disagree with most of them. My list would probably be as follows:
Debut: Remember Tomorrow
Killers: Innocent Exile
NotB: Run to the Hills (good, but waaay overplayed)
PoM: Quest for Fire
Powerslave: Back in the Village (good, but weaker than the rest)
SiT: Deja Vu
SSoaSS: Can I Play With Madness (decent, but the rest are all great)
NPftD: The Assassin
FotD: The Apparition
X Factor: 2 A.M. (insanely depressive)
Virtual XI: The Angel and the Gambler, Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger (both too repetetive)
BNW: The Thin Line Between Love and Hate (first 4 min are great, should have cut 2nd half)
DoD: Rainmaker
AMoLaD: The Longest Day
Final Frontier: The Man Who Would Be King (not too bad, but still the weakest)
TBoS: Tears of a Clown (one of Maiden's worst songs, period)
Senjutsu: Darkest Hour (this song is still 8/10)
In my opinion, the weakest song on Senjutsu is "The Darkest Hour." The intro sounds super spacey and suggests that something much bigger and more bombastic is about to come, which never happens. The chorus falls a bit flat and is far less grandiose than it was probably intended to sound, mainly due to the unflattering production and instrumentation that are missing that special something that the chorus needed. It is actually a very good song, but it suffers from the mentioned musical incongruence and is let down by the unflattering production and uninspired instrumentation.
The darkest hour is their worse
I like the chorus.
"Here I stand in a serenade of glory..."
@@Confused1983 Agree. Great chorus. It just doesn't sound as grandiose as it was meant to sound.
Debut= Strange World
Killers= Idk I keep forgetting all the songs
NOTB= Gangland (still like it)
POM= Quest For Fire (still like it)
Powerslave: 2 minutes to midnight (still think the song is great but there are better songs on the album)
SIT= the loneliness of the long distance runner
SSOASS= Infinite Dreams (still like it)
NPFTD= Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter
FOTD= Judas Be My Guide (still like it)
X Factor: Lord Of The Flies
V11= DON'T YOU THINK I'M A SAVIOUR DON'T YOU THINK.....
BNW= Haven't listened to this one enough to pick a bad song
DOD= Wildest Dreams (still like it)
AMOLAD= There are no bad songs on this album
TFF= Mother Of Mercy
BOS= Death Or Glory
Senjutsu= Lost In A Lost World
Best Maiden song= Mission From 'Arry
How can you not like Loneliness of the long distance runner?
Mission From ‘Arry is brilliant.
Debut= Charlotte the harlot
@@fartexboy4225 don't really get why people dislike that song. I really like it
@@Samotbackwards tbh I just think the first part is too cheesy for my liking but the ballad is quite good ig
Still Life is my favourite Maiden tune of them all. Glad you found the gold in it.
Well in my humble opinion there is no bad song in their '80s albums. I love them all. Moving on: No Prayer For The Dying "Hooks In You", Fear Of The Dark "Fear Is The Key", The X Factor "Look For The Truth", Virtual XI "The Angel And The Gambler", Brave New World "The Mercenary ", Dance Of Death "No More Lies", A Matter Of Life And Death "Different World", The Final Frontier "The Man Who Would Be King", The Book Of Souls "Empire Of The Clouds", Senjutsu "The Parchment".
1. Iron Maiden
2. Another life
3. Invaders
4. Quest for fire
5. Back in the village
6. Heaven can wait
7. Can I play with madness
8. Mother Russia
9. Weekend warrior
10. 2 am
11. Como estais amigo
12. The Nomad
13. Wildest dreams
14. The Legacy
15. The man who would be king
16. The Red and the Black
17. The Time machine
I was really surprised by some of these picks. I love gangland and the prophecy was my personal pick for my favourite ssoass song. I love the progression in that song.
Finally someone who doesn’t shit on NPFTD because it’s popular to shit on it.
Maiden is my all time favourite band so this was really tough and I still love most of these songs:
1. Running Free
2. Prodigal Son
3. Invaders
4. Quest for Fire
5. Losfer Words
6. Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
7. The Prophecy
8. Hooks in You
9. Weekend Warrior
10. Look for the Truth
11. The Angel and the Gambler
12. The Mercenary
13. Age of Innocence
14. Different World
15. Mother of Mercy
16. Death or Glory
17. The Time Machine
Sanctuary
The Ideas of March
Gangland
Quest for Fire
Back in the Village (I still like it)
Heaven Can Wait (I still like it)
The Prophecy (I still like it)
Hooks in You
Wasting Love
Look for the Truth
Angel and the Gambler
The Fallen Angel (I still like it)
Wildest Dreams
Out of the Shadows
Mother of Mercy
Speed of Light
Days of Future Past (I still like it)
These are all off the top of my head, but:
Iron Maiden: Charlotte the Harlot
Killers: Innocent Exile
Number of the Beast: Gangland
Piece of Mind: Quest for Fire
Powerslave: Losfer Words
Somewhere in Time: Deja Vu
Seventh Son: Can I Play With Madness
No Prayer for the Dying: The Assassin
Fear of the Dark: The Apparition
X Factor: 2 A.M.
Virtual XI: The Angel and the Gambler
Brave New World: The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
Dance of Death: Wildest Dreams
A Matter of Life and Death: Out of the Shadows
The Final Frontier: Starblind
Book of Souls: When the River Runs Deep
Senjutsu: The Parchment
This is a difficult task for some albums but-
Iron Maiden - Running Free
Killers- Another Life
NOTB - Gangland
Piece of Mind - Quest for Fire
Powerslave - Losfer Words
SIT - Deja Vu
Seventh Son - Only the Good Die Young
NPFTD - The Assassin
FOTD - Be Quick or Be Dead
X Factor - The Edge of Darkness
VIrtual XI - The Educated Fool/The Angel and the Gambler
Brave New World - The Mercenary
Dance of Death - Face in the Sand
AMOLAD - Lord of Light
Final Frontier - The Alchemist
Book of Souls - The Great Unknown
Senjutsu - The Parchment
ı can tell Lost in a Lost world was a quick the weakest in my first listenings. somehow it grew on me recently. The Parchment is my least fav in Senjutsu.
the rest I can agree with you
Quest for sadness and loneliness
The Prophecy's outro is beautiful, i don´t care very much for can i play with madness
Agree on some of them. I don’t have all of the albums after seventh son of a seventh son. strange world, loneliness of the long distance runner, can I play with madness, dream of mirrors, face in the sand, starblind, the red and the black, don’t like fear of dark? You didn’t bother with that album haha.
I love wildest dreams I'M GONNA BREAK AWAAAY, I'M OUT ON MY OWWNNNNNN... and Matter of life and death is better than all the later albums you pillock.
Noooo 😀 one my favorite bands.Great stream man awesome 😊
My list:
*Iron Maiden* - Iron Maiden
*Killers* - Prodigal Son
*The Number of the Beast* - Gangland
*Piece of Mind* - Quest For Fire
*Powerslave* - Back In The Village
*Somewhere In Time* - Stranger In a Strange Land
*Seventh Son of a Seventh Son* - Only the Good Die Young
*No Prayer For the Dying* - Fates Warning
*Fear of the Dark* - Childhood's End
*The X Factor* - Look For the Truth
*Virtual XI* - Futureal
*Brave New World* - The Mercenary
*Dance of Death* - Wildest Dreams
*A Matter of Life and Death* - The Pilgrim
*The Final Frontier* - Mother of Mercy
*The Book of Souls* - The Man of Sorrows
*Senjutsu* - The Writing on the Wall
Crazy that you think Futureal is the worst track in VXI
@@bernabefernandeztouceda7315 Might've changed my mind now. I used to dig Don't Look To the Eyes of a Stranger but not so much now. I still have a soft spot for The Angel and the Gambler. The rest of the album is OK.
@@liamnotlast4571 Clansman??
@@bernabefernandeztouceda7315 Better when Bruce sings it.
This is the bravest video idea I’ve ever seen
In this game of yours some of my picks would be still among my favorite songs in their whole discography; there are very few songs by IM that I dislike, mainly from Fear of the Dark, Virtual XI, Dance of Death and X Factor and Book of Souls, my least favorite IM albums. Basically I love all the songs in all the other albums.
Suggestion: The best Iron Maiden song on every album
Opeth remember tomorrow better than the debut remember tomorrow
I was just about to say the same
Their cover of would by Alice in chains is better too
@@Questformetal Alice In Chains in my favorite band of all time lol. Would is one of their best songs imo. Opeth is also one of my bands tho. I just easily prefer the Alice In Chains. Version
Yes it is good, heard it a few weeks ago
Trick question. Their worst songs on any album are from the Blaze Bayley albums. Lol
Yes
Dickinson and Di Anno>Blaze Bayley
I don't know Questy, this one's a hard one, but I would have to say Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter and Back in the Village. I don't even consider the Blaze Bailey era.
Wasn't there a film called Quest for fire?
For me "Gangland" is the best song on TNOTB, furious and aggressive!
Prodigal son is one of the best on killers
So glad you called out Heaven can wait. The intro is great, the rest is over repeated. They chose to play this constantly over the years live and don't bother with Loneliness of the long Distance Runner, Stranger or even Sea of Madness.
And Yes.... Iron Maiden is over played and very meh.... it's literally just the live ending with Eddie.. That is its only purpose. Surely no one actually listens to it otherwise.
Oh, And Can I Play with Madness is defo the worst on 7th Son
Quest for Fire was what made me realize Steve Harris wrote songs based on movies. Shitty movie, shitty song.
The Time Machine, Bruce's voice is superb! Well done Yannick..well done.
Can i Play with madness? For me just the weakest song from the classical first Albums of Maiden.
I agree with most of it. But man Ive tried with No Prayer album... and I cant listen to anything on it except the title track and Mother Russia. And even those are just ok
iron maiden- running free
killers- murders in the rue morgue
number of the beast- gangland
piece of mind- sun and steel
powerslave- lost for words
somewhere in time- deja vu
seventh son of a seventh son
no prayer for the dying- hooks in you
fear of the dark- weekend warrior
the x factor- 2am
virtual xi- futureal
brave new world- the nomad
dance of death- no more lies
a matter of life and death- lord of light
the final frontier- the man who would be king
the book of souls- empire of the clouds
senjutsu- lost in a lost world
Before i start to play the video i pick one of the worst Maiden song, and it comes from a great album...
this song is "Can i play with Madness" in my opinion :)
Now i listen to your video
Absolutely agree with you sir about the Somewhere In Time (my favourite album).
Nah Heaven Can Wait is definitely not the worst song on the album
Was worried you'd say strange world
It's good to see no prayer for the dying getting some love
Fates Warning sounds like a leftover from Seventh Son. It has a great background melody and us probably the most Iron Maiden song on Dying.
This is funny. For my money "Prodigal son" is the best song of Killers. And Lost in a Lost world is also a 5 star song for me.
1. Iron Maiden - Running Free (hate that song)
2. Killers - Innocent Exile (maybe the least memorable Di Anno song)
3. Number of the Beast - Gangland (Invaders is also terrible)
4. Piece of Mind - Quest for fire (booooring)
5. Powerslave - The Duellists (even more booooooooring)
6. Somewhere in Time - Heaven can wait (that chorus, uargh)
7. Seventh son of a Seventh son - None! Ok: The Prophecy
8. No prayer for the dying - Public Enema No One (A real low point on the worst Bruce album)
9. Fear of The Dark - Weekend Warrior (what is this?)
10.The X Factor - The Aftermath (one of the songs, where Blaze's voice really annoys me)
11.Virtual XI - Angel and the Gambler (did anyone ciunt the "Don't you Think" lines?)
12.Brave New World - The fallen Angel (not bad, but weakest on a perfect album)
13.Dance Of Death - Gates of Tomorrow (could also be Journeyman)
14.A Matter of Life and Death - The Legacy (Don't like the album too much. Could also take B. Breeg)
15.The Final Frontier - Satellite 15 (No, you are not a prog band)
16.The Book of Souls - Speed of Light (hate the song. Hated it even live. Tears of a clown is also boring)
17.Senjutsu - Senjutsu (not bad, but sub par compared to the rest)
@@rjshally Not for me. Phantom of the Opera, Strange World, Prodigal Son, Sanctuary for me.
I swear ya'll don't understand IM style. Invaders is a masterpiece
This is a tough one....
IM: Running Free (most bland track on the album IMO)
Killers: Another Life (pretty fun song but nothing too special)
TNOTB: Invaders (yeah I like Gangland. I would say Total Eclipse is worse if we're including that track)
POM: Quest for Fire (pretty self explanatory. Lyrics are shit and even the instrumentals are pretty bland)
Powerslave: Flash of the Blade (sooooo tough to pick a worst song on this album. I hate to have this song here)
SIT: Deja Vu (again, so damn hard to pick a worst song....... it's close to Heaven Can Wait but i dislike it more because of the solos and the ooh ooh oohh part)
SSOASS: Prophecy (only "weak" track on the whole album. The acoustic outro is brilliant though)
NPFTD: The Assassin (only because of the chorus)
FOTD: Weekend Warrior (Maiden's worst song IMO)
TXF: The Unbeliever (very awkwardly structured song. I'd remove it from the album; 2am would be a decent closing track)
VXI: Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger (Maiden's second worst song IMO. Only just worse than The Angel and the Gambler)
BNW: The Mercenary (relatively boring chorus repeated too often)
DOD: Gates of Tomorrow (one of the most boring Maiden tracks IMO)
AMOLAD: Out of the Shadows (probably the worst ballad by Maiden)
TFF: Isle of Avalon × Mother of Mercy (Isle of Avalon is too damn long, and Mother of Mercy's chorus is crap)
BOS: When the River Runs Deep (Tears of a Clown is a close second)
Senjutsu: The Time Machine (full of reused riffs and lyrics that go nowhere)
How can "played too much" be a criterion? If it is, then famous works of art cannot be good anymore, since they've been seen too much. really weird
Strange world
Prodigal son
Gangland
Quest for fire
Back in the village
Deja vu
Can I play with madness
Holy smoke
Weekend warrior
Judgment of heaven
Angel and the gambler
Thin line between love and hate
Wildest dreams
Greater good of God
Coming home
Tears of a clown
Lost in a lost world
dang bro we had a lot of similiar ones lol
Glad to see that many Maiden fans share the opinion about "Can I..." Haha
Mine would be
Running Free
Prodigal Son
Invaders
Quest For Fire
Back In The Village
Heaven Can Wait
Can I Play With Madness
Hooks In You
Weekend Warrior
2 AM
The Angel And The Gambler
Blood Brothers(I Know Least Fav)

I think Maiden should do 7th son live in its entirety. As a concept album it would do it justice. They could make it real theatrical and cinematic too.
Iron Maiden i dont know, Killers I don't know, Number of the Beast i dont know,
Peace of Mind Flight of the Ikarus,
Powersalve Losfer Words
Someware in Time Heaven can wait
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son can i play with Madness
No Prayer for the Dying i dont know fates Warning
Fear of the Dark my Favorite Iron Maiden Album no bad Song 🤘
You picked a LOT of the same ones as me - here are my differing picks to yours!
Iron Maiden - Strange World
NOTB - Invaders
Powerslave - Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)
Somewhere In Time - Déjà Vu
X Factor - Look for the Truth
Dance of Death - Age of Innocence
AMOLAD - Out of the Shadows
Final Frontier - Starblind
Book of Souls - Shadows the Valley
1. "Charlotte The Harlot" (Fun song, I don't skip it, but super cheesy)
2. "Another Life" (Decent, but weaker than the rest)
3. "Invaders" (Still don't skip it but not my fav Maiden opener)
4. "Quest for fire" (this or "die with your boots on") I really don't care for either, but still fun to listen to.
5. "The Duelist" (The vocals on the chorus kinda annoy me, still decent..)
6. "Loneliness of the long distance".. (cool track but my least fav on the album)
7. "Only the good Die young" (Kinda similar to "Can I Play With Madness" especially the chorus, not a bad song on this album though)
8. "Fates Warning".. (meh track)
9. "The Apparition" (easily the weakest track melodically)
10. "Fortunes Of War" (Still cool, but it kinda takes forever to get going)
11. "Angel and the gambler" (Stop writing songs about gambling Steve.. like I love the music of "the red and the black" but it has such stupid lyrics)
12. "The Mercenary" (Not a bad song on this album but for me weaker than the rest too many chorus repeats)
13. "Age of innocence" (not that interesting, still a good song)
14. Not a bad song on this record my personal favorite
15. "The Man who would be king", (not my fave Maiden album, could have chosen at least 5 more contenders for weakest song..)
16. "The Great Unknown" (easily my pick for worst Maiden track of all time... Nothing interesting, generic lyrics, Bruce's straining vocals in the chorus ... Lyrically "The Red And the Black" is worse but it is fantastic musically ... Seriously Steve... Gambling is not an interesting topic to write epics about..
17. Oh dear me ... Can I pick 4 ? Sure I can! "Death of The Celts", "The Time Machine", "Lost In A lost World", "Darkest Hour"
All Maiden's songs are great!
I love back in the village it is an underrated
This was tougher than the Metallica one. Iron Maiden has some weaker songs, but they don't have any songs I outright dislike. I still haven’t listened to the Blaze Bayley albums in the 8 years I’ve been a fan.

Don’t worry quest I would get a lot of sh*t for somewhere in time album as well, would personally have wasted years as my least favourite find it a bit boring IMO.
Duellist is my favorite Maiden song
Gangland sounds like the Prisoner pt2. The song is one of my favorites.
For me:
Iron Maiden - Running Free
Killers - Innocent Exile(???)
TNOTB - Gangland
Piece of Mind - Die With Your Boots on OR Sun and Steel
Powerslave - Back In the Village
Somewhere in Time - Heaven Can Wait
Seventh Son - Can I Play With Madness
No Prayer - Brimg Your Daughter
Fear of the Dark - Fear is the Key or Weekend Warrior
X Factor - The Inbeliever
Virtual XI - Angel and the Gambler
BNW - The Mercenary
Dance of Death - New Frontier
AMOLAD - Brighter than a thousand suns
Final Frontier - The Man Who Would Be King
Book of Souls - Tears of a Clown or When the River Runs Deep
Senjutsu - The Time Machine
Some were more difficult than others, for sure!
'When it came out' - The Prophecy??? How old is this guy? Because he looks about 15 :')
Totaly agree with you when it comes tog Angel and THE gambler.....I am a diehardfan of Maiden since 1982 and i cant stand the repeating on this one
As a massive Blaze era fan, I have to agree with you about Fortunes of War and The Angel and the Gambler..they are both suffering a lot due the bewildering production, no doubt about it.
I personally think the unbeliever is close to being as bad as Angel and the gambler. Can’t stand that song.
@@UnchainedTrooper I respect your opinion but I have to dissagree! The Unbeliever is perfect closer of the record and If you want to Listen that one properly, you have to look down a bit deeper Under the surface.
"Heaven Can Wait" is absolutely awful, strongly agree, there. The chorus takes it from C-tier to D or F-tier.

@@rjshally not in my book
@@rjshally i noticed👍
Empire of the clouds?? Really?
Brave new world is my second favourite album! But nomad
Sanctuary (also overplayed, but still like it)
Genghis Khan
Number of the Beast (just tired of this song and not tired of any other song on this album)
Quest For Fire
Losfer Words (this is no Genghis Khan!)
Heaven Can Wait (it's ok)
Can I Play With Madness (I used to like it. Now I don't like Maiden doing hair metal choruses)
Hooks in You (top 5 worst song)
Fear Is The Key (possibly the worst in their catalog)
Judgement of Heaven (this was hard to pick one cuz most of them are ok)
Angel & The Gambler (definitely the worst of the Blaze era)
The Fallen Angel (song is a solid B, but this album is a solid A+)
Wildest Dreams (agree with you...)
Out of the Shadows (also one of the worst songs ever... not quite as bad as Fear Is The Key)
When The Wild Wind Blows (way too long and they don't need to pilfer folk music melodies) - Mother of Mercy is my favorite from the album. It's the most Dickinson like... think Chemical Wedding... the best album Maiden never did.
The Man Of Sorrows (snore... Tears of A Clown is bad too)
Death of the Celts (see comment for the Wild Wind Blows)
Funnily enough I only had troubles choosing the worst from Powerslave and Senjutsu. The others were more or less obvious. My picks:
Charlotte the Harlot
Innocent Exile
Gangland
Sun and Steel
Back in the Village
Deja-Vu
Only the Good Die Young
Public Enema Number One
Weekend Warrior
2 A.M.
Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger
The Nomad
Face in the Sand
Out of the Shadows
The Man Who Would Be King
Tears of a Clown
Darkest Hour
Strange World
Another Life
Gangland
Quest for Fire
Back in the Village
Deja Vu
The Prophecy
The Assassin
The Apparition
The Aftermath
The Angel and the Gambler
The Nomad
Journeyman
The Legacy
Mother of Mercy
The Red and the Black
The Time Machine
Iron Maiden - Translvanyia
Killers - Murders in the Rue Morgue
Number of the Beast - Gangland
Piece of Mind - Quest for Fire
Powerslave - Rime of the Ancient Mariner (still a good song just don't like it as much as the rest)
Somewhere in Time - Alexander the Great (great instrumentals but the vocal melodies are bland)
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son - Can I Play With Madness (don't like it that much. Pretty poppy and barley sounds like a maiden song)
No Prayer For the Dying - Running Silent Running Deep
Fear of the Dark - From Here to Eternity
Virtual XI - The Angel and the Gambler
Brave New World - The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
Dance of Death - No More Lies
I haven't listened to the rest so i can't decide which is the worst
oi
Iron Maiden = Running Free ( I had to choose one, I love the whole album)
Killers= Prodigal son
The Number of the Beast = Gangland (easy)
Piece of Mind = Quest for fire
Powerslave = The Duellists and Back in the Village
Somewhre in Time = Heaven can wait ( It's still an 8/10)
SSoaSS = Can I play with Madness
No Prayer for the Dying = The ASSASSin
Fear of the Dark = Fugitive, Weekend Warrior, Apparition ( might be 2-3 more)
The X Factor = Fortunes of War
Virtual XI = The Angel and the Gambler
Brave New World = Blood Brothers
Dance of Death = Face in the Sand
AMOLAD = Out of the Shadows
Final Frontier = Satellite 15.... ( such a bad intro)
Book of Souls = Death or Glory and Tears of a Clown ( Boring)
Senjutsu = Death of the Celts ( it's like a worse version of the Clansman)
There are no bad songs on Powerslave. Back in the Village is Prisoner pt.2...amazing riff...7th son? Can I play with madness is crap...no.prayer? Only album I don't own...
My List -
Iron Maiden - Charlotte The Harlot
Killers - Ides Of March
NOTB - Invaders
Powerslave - Powerslave
Piece Of Mind - To Tame A Land
Somewhere In Time - Heaven Can Wait.
SSOASS - The Prophecy
NPFTD - Hooks In You
Fear Of The Dark - Be Quick Or Be Dead.
The X Factor - Man On The Edge
Virtual XI - The Angel & The Gambler
Brave New World - 100% Agree With You This Album Is a Masterpiece The Last Great Album Maiden Released In My Opinion - The Song I Like Least On This Album Is - The Wicker Man.
Dance Of Death - Wildest Dreams
AMOLAD - The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg.
Final Frontier - The Alchemist
The Book Of Souls - Speed Of Light.
Senjitsu - Lost In A Lost World.
Fine with every take on this list except No Prayer. I'm a diehard fan of 25 years and that album is just awful. Even Bring Your Daughter is a watered down version of the solo version.
