Your work is stunning! I love the soft petals and the way you shape them with the cotton swab. Thank so much for taking your time to share your beautiful work and process!!
I can tell by your voice you have patience. Patience is a virtue
You are too kind. Thank you.😊
This is so beautiful. Thank you SO much for sharing your technique.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching
Great video! I love the petals & appreciate you sharing how you do this!
Thank you. I’ve been trying to create these flowers and now I know what to do. I hope mine come out as pretty as yours
You are a great teacher, thank you 🙏
Who knew such beauty could come out of a black blob! :) I love the delicate effects you can get from alcohol inks - definitely inspiring me to give it a try some day! Until then, I'll satisfy myself by watching others do it ;)
Beautiful! Your air tank should have a valve or a drain plug to empty the condensation. That will help with the moisture.
Thank you. I had 2 moisture traps on it. I added one to the hose as well, but my studio is in my basement and sometimes it's just to damp down there...especially if it's been raining.
Great video! I was amazed at the colours from the black ink! Lovely effect.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍😍💕💕🇬🇧🇬🇧🐶🐶🐶
Thanks Maureen. Pitch Black is my favorite.
I am so happy with what you have taught me. Thank you!
Hi Sally. I'm so happy that watching my videos has been helpful.
Excellent tutorial.... thank you!🙃
I can’t find your list that has your air brush name on amazon. Thank you!
I too am trying to find the air brush
The amazing thing is you only used one colour to get this lovely design - black… 😵🥰
Pitch black is a great color!
It is indeed. 🥰
I have the Kirkland photo paper and have been unsuccessful in using it. When I put alcohol on it it just soaks in. I tried both sides in case that was my error. I will keep trying, because I am stubborn, but if you have any insight that would be great.
I am new to your channel but find your classes very helpful and encouraging so thank you !
I’m am holding airbrush about half an inch to an inch off the paper and I think I’m get better pedals then I was. Try get closer I’m tell u it helped
What airbrush do you use? Could I get a link for it? Beautiful work btw

Thankyou so helpful☺️
😊
Thank you
Very nice, question why do you dry the black ink?
Thank you. To keep it from blending with the other ink too much.
@@VivoVintageDesignswhat other ink, I didn’t see you lay any other ink color down just alcohol
@@ArtJustArt215 generally, that's why. In this case, if I didn't dry it first, when I put the alcohol down to blow out a petal, it would have blown out all the black.
what are you using for your alcohol drops. I cannot seem to control the drops from what I am using. amazon alcohol dispensers.
Beautiful art! How do you control how much air comes out of the blow dryer?
The blow dryer has settings. I usually use the low setting. Less air and not as hot.
@@VivoVintageDesigns I know I said blow dryer but I meant to say air brush! Lol. I bought an air brush and it seems that the air comes out at the same speed!
@@janisbaker5873 in that case, you need an airbrush with an adjustable PSI.
@@VivoVintageDesigns I have the Master’s airbrush! It’s the small black one that you sit on the table. Are you familiar with this one because I don’t know how to adjust the PSI
Message me on my FB page with a picture of it and I can tell you if its adjustable or you can look up the model and find instructions online.
Just about to ask my FB A-Ink group how to use it in a spray form! Ty
Q: can this technique be used on glass.. non-porous surfaces, Wood & Metal? Ty♥️ beautiful colors
I imagine it can be done on a non porous surface, however if working on canvas or wood, I would apply 2 coats of kilz2 primer first. I've not worked on glass or metal, but imagine it would be fine if sealed properly.
@@VivoVintageDesigns Ok Ty so much 😁
What black did you use that gives you the different colors?
Pitch black
Does the work have to be sealed afterwards
You should always seal alcohol ink with varnish and uv protection, or it will fade over time.
Love your videos but wish you would explain better why you do certain things with the airbrush, as a beginner I need more instructions on the reasons you do certain maneuvers. Thanks!
Thank you for watching.
So is 50 the best psi to use?
I usually use 40. If you're just starting out, I recommend starting with 20.
can i ask which airbrush you have?
This is the one I use and love - *Master Airbrush and compressor kit - amzn.to/2sMjGjq
Can this be done on a canvas?
You have to prime the canvas with a couple of coats of kilz2 primer, however, the ink flow a bit differently on canvas because if its texture.
Why is there water from your air brush?
From the moisture in the air
@@VivoVintageDesigns I see. We don’t have any moisture.
