♦️🔸 For PICTURE links to everything I used in THIS video : kit.co/Myriams... 🔸♦️
= FOR THIS PIECE I USED:
▪️PIÑATA Alcohol Inks from Jacquard (all are in the Exciter pack):
    - Senorita Magenta
    - Baja Blue
    - Rich Gold
✨ I recommend the Jacquard PIÑATA “Exciter Pack” of 9 alcohol inks! These inks are rich, vibrant and highly pigmented!
    Exciter Pack: amzn.to/2G2tkAB
    🔺For Canadians: amzn.to/2HzXn3c
    ▪️ Piñata Claro Extender : amzn.to/2J87R9S (4 oz. bottle)
Claro Extender allows you to thin your inks without compromising their binding ability as using isopropyl alcohol alone will do. This is particularly important if you are working on glass or tile (slick surfaces). Claro also extends your working time a bit by drying somewhat slower.
    ▪️ 91% Isopropyl Alcohol
▪️ This was done on the BACK of a sheet of Kirkland Professional Glossy Inkjet Photo Paper : amzn.to/2GUEcTJ
    = TOOLS =
🔹 My favorite airbrush is very easy to use within 5 minutes of opening the box... this includes a mini-compressor, the airbrush and hose: amzn.to/2BHzdCo
🔹 The little paintbrushes I used come in a pack of 10 from eBay ... They will take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive but the pack costs less than $2 and that includes shipping!
    ebay.to/2pHFiI8 (I used size "S")
🔹 The squeeze bottles that had the thinned alcohol ink (with the white cap):
    - for a pack of 6: amzn.to/2qNs517
    - for a pack of 12: amzn.to/2qLBrKs
🔹 The tiny silicone cup that held the gold ink : amzn.to/31uHLHe
    = SEALING / VARNISHING =
To seal an alcohol ink piece I use a museum quality spray by Krylon: Kamar Varnish. Unlike most spray varnishes and acrylic sprays, it will not react with the alcohol inks. 🔹Here is a link: amzn.to/2jGh3KO
If done on something paper thin like Duralar, the piece can be framed under glass or acrylic without being sprayed. Avoid placing your alcohol ink work where it will be exposed to direct sunlight however. Some inks can fade in the sun.
A UV Protecting spray can help minimize fading.
Thank you in advance for watching the videos, sharing them, commenting and leaving a thumbs up. Your kindness helps my channel continue and it is all greatly appreciated! May the alcohol inks, resin, and paints be kind, and may the pours be with you. 😊💕

What a stunning piece, when I saw your post thumbnail my jaw dropped. It’s just so pretty you makes me want to work hard and learn more about this beautiful medium.
Your skills with inks and the air brush inspires me. Your video as always are amazing to watch and you always give so much to use all.
Again I learnt much from you especially on the papers. I am still struggle to get my knowledge up on this aspect and what’s the best way to seal ink piece.
Those colours are just to die for and that pop of gold just take it to a very regal eye catching piece.
Thank you so much for you beautiful shout out, it’s means a lot your support but to also now I got your seal of approval, the queen on alcohol inks ❤️❤️

I learn so much from your videos! I always try to order from your Amazon store, no matter what I'm buying. But they will not play ball with Alcohol Inks being shipped to Hi. Found a seller on eBay. I'm getting 5 of the 4 oz bottles of Pinata Blanco Blanco and 2 4 oz bottles of the extender you mention in this video. I didn't realize it would tend to wipe off of tiles and glass. I learn lots of new things each time I watch one of your videos! Will the Pinata white work the same way with Ranger inks as the Ranger Snow Cap? All my inks are Ranger since that's the only brand available in HI in a brick and mortar store. I did have to pay more {considerably more), plus shipping, for those items thru eBay vs your Amazon store. I did put in a few orders through your store this morning too. I better get busy doing art and quit getting ready to get ready. :D

Hi Debi! I had no idea that you were in Hawaii… How awesome for you! 😃 Thank you so much for your amazing support via Amazon… It helps my channel every single time and I am so grateful!
About the white alcohol ink I have used both brands, but I tend to prefer Piñata inks across the board ... primarily because I find the colored inks richer and more lightfast. The Piñata white will work just like Snow Cap for regular alc. ink painting but if you ever get into making resin “Petri” art, Piñata Blanco works MUCH better than Snow Cap.
If you have Ranger products available to you, using the Blending solution by Ranger can replace the Claro Extender if you run out. Here in the 48 contiguous Jacquard products are less expensive than Ranger because Jacquard Piñata offers the 4 oz. bottles but if shipping is so high for you the cost saving is lost.
I wish you endless fun on your alcohol ink journey. I hope you will post your work in the Facebook group… I would love to see it. 😊😘💕

I love this. I'm going to get the airbrush, I wanted one when I first started using the alcohol inks and then I forgot about it. Love those gold lines.

This is great! I am a watercolor artist who has started enjoying alcohol inks...so fairly new to it. I love the gold veining, but could never get it to look how I wanted. Such a useful suggestion to paint them in! I have a question...does the metallic veining still look shiny after you spray with varnish and uv protection?

Hi Melinda! How funny... I’m an alcohol inker interested in playing with watercolors 😁.
About the gold veining... yes it will retain its shine under sprays ( and even more so under resin if you ever go that route.) I’m happy this video was useful... thank you for watching and for the kind words! 😊💕

How do you get the brass so concentrated? It seems like when i try to add lines it just separates and i cant get it to create a solid line.
