Ha Ha mate excellent effort. Aussies think the britz drink warm beer. Me, personally, I drink for effect and don’t care about how hot or cold the beer is!
Thanks mate… yeah I was struggling to find time and as a result I was loosing motivation because there are hundreds of hours of sanding ahead lol Got my mojo back tho
Hi mate… happy new year to you… thanks for the message… mate I’ve had a big few days in the shed now and she’s really starting to shape up… next bud will be 3-4 weeks away
Another brilliant video, never apologize for having to work yah gota work. The Fairlane is looking perfect still waiting for the colour to be announced and as always your work is fascinating to watch. Looking forward to the next installment but dont be hurried perfection takes time.....look at Peter A xc!
Thanks for the new video. Was a nice surprise to see it pop up. Fantastic that you were able to find the time and enthusiasm to get back into it. Great work as always. Cheers!!
Ha ha ha… nice one Ian. Spraying highfill is child’s play tho. The real test will be when it’s time to put it into colour. Hope your chrissy was relaxing. Stay safe mate
I’m still working on an episode at a time for the resto of your Ford, I’m about halfway caught up. Near the end of your film you have quite the toad strangler coming down outside there…whoa Nellie!
Awesome content bro! In your opinion do you encourage trying to keep a classic car as original as possible or make a few mods that will make you happy haha
All depend Cuz! I recon what ever makes you happy… the XW I built was a GS mock up and that made me happy… The ZF I’m making a few changes… 351 replacing the 302… custom paint colour (Ford Mustang Ruby Red). A custom interior not to different than stock but Ive got rid of the vinyl and gone for a fabric. And twin pipes… it will be a horny honest resto with a few tweaks. But all in all a pretty basic car.
Happy New Year fella! It’s always great to see a new episode of yours pop up. Looking forward to the next stages as she starts to take her final shape. Take care & stay safe mate!
Hey hey man!! Great to see you back on the big screen! I hope you are doing well, and had a decent New Year. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes to conclusion!
Good to see you back again. I was worried, I read on the Flat Earther bulletins that a Jason Hill had fallen off the edge of the world. It must have been another Jason Hill. 😛 😁 Just wondering, can you actually chrome the torsion bars for the boot hinges, being that they twist and even the slightest movement could peel the chrome ?
Hmmm yeah you’re right mate. Yes I was wondering that myself about the twisting with the chrome. But my thinking is that you often see chrome springs on bonnets and they seem to survive. I’ll give it a go and if unsuccessful I’ll paint them. Thanks for the thought provoking insight tho. Hey I hope you’re chrissy was relaxing. Stay covid safe mate and all the best for 2022
Me uncle had an XG geez I Luved that car bronze in colour aftermarket alloys beaut ride saw one the same recently bought gd memories flooding back niceworkmate r u self taught?
Certainly am self taught bud… I did paint Nissan’s back in the 80’s at theClayton plant in Melbourne. But production line painting I never learned the all important body prep… am an upholster but trade so that’s why the interior is lush.
