jeff usually looking like the master in his sparring, but you can tell your old coach is a master in his own rights. I haven't seen you get swept so often in a long time. good stuff
Your teacher’s legit; solid boxing, great foot sweeps, really solid knee strikes, and some great counter kicks to the legs. Would love to learn from this guy.👍🏾
Its very clear where you got some of your technique. You both demonstrate that expertly. The flow, technicality, controlled aggression, and even the chemistry you two have made this an absolute joy to watch. Almost like fighting a mirror-image of yourself at times. Fascinating to watch you at work, as always Jeff!
devin looks so technical that it's surreal. It's like watching a tekken character fight or some motion capture cgi... because everything is just perfectly executed like a machine
Wow, his modified phily shell at the end was some high level defensive technique. Countering with legs kicks to throw off your balance is just beautiful to watch. I can see why you appreciate him as a coach. Plus he reads your combos better than anyone you sparred lately.
it feels like watching 2 people dance in a way , you 2 are so good together , the paste , the rhythm , its feels so syncronized , like particles moving to a tune or frequence .
As a Muay Thai beginner I am fascinated by all the beautiful techniques and the precise timing. Very humbling even after a good sparring round to see, how good you can get.
4:30 secs into the video and I am committed to signing up. This video is purely the definition of MMA and what it represents. Thank you again for the masterful content.
Lol your coach showing you what’s what !! Sign of a great teacher - pushing you just enough and making each session fun and tough. Always nice to see a genuine bond between master and student too.
This is a beautiful high skill, high energy display of martial arts! The similarities of style and technique are easy to see. I've been training for 15 years and this was so fun to watch! It put many smiles on my face.
I feel like the guy that works in the music store in the first Wayne’s World movie after he sees Garth play the drums lol. That level of talent is inspirational man. I would love to see more boxing as well as Muay Thai, thanks Jeff!
I feel like this is the most fun I've seen 2 people sparring have togethor, you can hear the "oh shit you got me!" kind of happy surprise when ever they landed a clean shot or takedown
Great trade off and technical IQ from you both Jeff! Kru Devin is real technical this is awesome! Your a tru warrior Jeff and your KRU is also ! Thank for sharing this ! Much respect !
Just based on this, I gotta hand it to the old master: he seems to read Jeff like a book and usually has 2 or 3 alternative countermoves queued up. His stability, his balance, is just wow, and his killshots (always launched with care and control) look devastating.
Both of your guys' movement, tempo of your combinations, and your setups are so similar, its really cool to watch you both go back and forth. High IQ, Fun watch!
i remember the sparring video of you and kru dev in a backyard!! Great to see two great fighters reunite, you guys' styles are truly spitting images of each other
I got to say, I always respected Muay Thai Fighters. This style of combat always had a very threatening and brutal appearance and it seems I was right in that estimation, but there is also so much smarts behind it, like pulling someone towards you for a knee (5:23). Definitely I do not want to mess with one of you guys :) It is also nice to watch how you guys go at a good intensity but still being respectful so as not to hurt each other badly. This looks like a real great sparring!
Amazing sparring and breakdown Jeff. Glad to see former students linking up with their earlier mentors and showing them they've improved and evolved. I notice both your styles aren't traditional Muay Thai though, I'd say they're more modernized or adapted to MMA applications especially the stance and guard.
I can definitely see the influence. He has a very fluid style. I think one difference is you take angles a lot more, whereas he likes to stand right in front and counter.
Superb as usual But i think this sparring session is the best i ve seen your first coach is woww Just beautyfull to watch He Makes it look flawless Love his counters I can watch n rewatch this session over n over n still learn sonething new Thank you so much jeff your videos are 👍👍👍👍👍
Must be really reassuring to know someone that started training you all those years ago was that good and was able provide you such a great foundation.
Great video I look forward to coming to your seminar in Chicago.I actually started training because of your videos I’m 15 and just had my first fight I have definitely learned a lot from you
I know I was born for this sport. It was such a natural feeling for me to kick. Spinning kick, straight kicks, question mark kicks. It all came so easy. Wish I had someone to put me into Muay Thai when I was young. 😢
You did a great job. It just looks like you’re fighting a more polished and experienced you. Remember you gotta make up for all those yrs of training you lost wen he was still goin nuts💯😭

Facts but you cant beat your master it just cant happen...... And yeah foot sweep galore love it lol
Yeah I was watching like “Ah, so that’s where he learnt that from”
He has the very thai-esque reflex of immediately kicking after feeling the contact of a receiving kick, always evens score
💯💯💯
I heard that you don’t always want to even the score, getting even opens you up to being countered.
@@THEREDHOODxxincorrect
@@AP2brolic of course it comes with a risk of getting countered, when you predictably do something there’s always a chance of getting countered.
