Great video! I would love to see a video on tips of addressing your lies and abbreviating your run up vs. stand still.

lol I literally said "I wish I could throw higher" last night! Genuinely think this series could become like, the primary series a ton of players refer to. Would love to see one on the mental game and getting through slumps!

I’ve been playing for two years and this is the first time I’ve seen teaching on this aspect of the game. Thank you so much for bringing this content. I only recently heard that we should under stable for uphill and overstable downhill.

I wouldn't recommend throwing overstable discs downhill, but I would recommend discing down. A midrange or a even a putter, even though it flies slower, is going to get much more glide and forward motion than an overstable disc, especially a driver.

I would say this is not only the best tutorial on throwing uphill and downhill, as far as I know it's the ONLY one. All the other ones only give advice on what discs to use, this is the only video that talk about HOW to throw down or up.

On uphill shots with a crosswind be careful of the wind beating your disc down into the ground if you are trying to throw understable discs or flat shots. If the wind is strong enough it can be impossible to get up a hill if you show the flight plate to the wind. Letting the wind get under your disc on an uphill shot is actually super helpful, it will carry your disc up the hill for you. If you have the space and the crosswind is there that is when you throw an overstable disc uphill on a big wide hyzer and watch it sail up the hill

It feels like forever since I ran into Brian in a parking lot at a hotel. I love seeing how far he's come.

Also for lower power throwers, a light disc can help you get more distance uphill than with a max weight disc.
I have a 155 gram sidewinder that I throw in my bag for hilly courses. I can get that one farther up the hills than any other disc I own.

Another great one from Brian. It was great to hear about full power shots but If I had my druthers you would also do one on uphill and downhill approach shots. Those 100-200 footers you'd normally expect to get up and down from get so much tougher when you have to deal with a lot of elevation change and also potentially have to control your landing to prevent rollaways and also consider not leaving yourself a death putt. It seems like misses are bigger and more punishing when elevation change is involved and its the part of my game I continue to struggle with, maybe its just hard, but I'd love to hear if Brian has anything for us on the subject.

When throwing on flat ground and you need to throw a shot high, how do you throw a disc high without throwing it with too much nose up

I knew you would show hole 3’s tee for the downhill as soon as I saw you shoot the video on that course. And yes you threw downhill, but you stood on flat ground which is easier than “standing downhill”
Personally I think there is a big difference😊

Do you guys ever consider creating one of these for somewhat older players? Maybe you have and I just don't know, but if you do, I will definitely watch it.

Great instruction, the best thing is that there is a left-handed player telling you how to throw.
However, I would like to point out the background music, which in my opinion is too loud and disturbs hearing the speech a bit. On the other hand, music would not necessarily have been needed at all.
