Ty ty for playing a older Scorpions ballad. I've seen them 3 times even drove 7 hours to take my youngest daughter to see them on their 50 year anniversary tour. Now she loves them also !!! Another great song off Blackout Album is When The Smoke is Going Down, also a little harder is No One Like You. Off album Face The Heat is very underplayed but one of his best is Under The Same Sun. Please review Under The Same Sun and No One Like You!!! Love your content!!! Keep it up!!!

Still loving you is THE rock ballad for people (like me) who loves 70'rock........i meam.....maybe is not the best rock ballad ever (we have so many) but is a wonderful one..........the emblem of the rock ballads
Klaus Meine gets even more impressive when you learn he almost lost his voice and had to relearn how to sing. Definitely a legend

1980s Glam Hair Bands and the power ballads always melted them women :) I played drums back in the 80s and was a singer...miss those times.
Fun Fact!
In 1986, as a Junior in high school, we had a school dance and lip-sync contest. Me and 4 friends dressed up as the Scorpions and did “Still Loving You”
It was the best night of my High School years!

You can’t go wrong with any Scorpions song. *Send Me An Angel* should be your next one!
Along with "Wind Of Change", "Rhythm Of Love", "No One Like You" & since she is about to do "Rock You Like A Hurricane", another is, "Tease Me, Please Me". And, I just can't pick just 1 out of their song's, that I mentioned, as well as, the 2("Still Loving You" & "Rock You Like A Hurricane" & the 1 you mentioned "send Me An Angel") she is mentioning on here. I mean, how can anyone really be able to just pick 1 of these song's, to be better than the other's? And, to think, that Klaus, is actually singing in English, which is his 2nd language, not even his native language, make's it even more phenomenal. He is up there, in the vocal's, alongside of Jimi Hendrix, with his guitar. These are going to be some of the greatest song's, to stand the test's of time, as we have already seen, that many are already on those classic love album's, from many different musician's. And, there are a select few, that end up with more than 2-3 song's(If they are super lucky, they can get 3), on those album's, that you see celeb's endorsing on TV, in those infomercial's and those paid advertisement's, like TimeLife. But, I know, that The Scorpion's, have around 6 of their song's, in those set's, on average, as they are so diverse and just so great, that you hear it, you KNOW, exactly who they are...

Yeah, me in 1986 i started to listening Scorpions and i wrote down.their lyrics because its clarity of word pronunciation. Unlike other singer that he uttered (coo coo see but the correct is cold cold city)
I giggle every time i watch a reaction video to this song. I was a teenager when this came out Im an 80s lady. This song was played at every school dance and prom. The Scorpions still have the same effect on people all these years later. the only way to listen to them is LOUD

The Scorpions have a HUGE catalog of great music, and their live performances are pure fire I Highly recommend checking out one of their overlooked anti war songs "Crossfire" Also their song "The Zoo" inspired by a visit to New York City.

The Scorpions have been my favorite 80's band literally my entire life. Summer nights, windows down, Scorpions cranked up on the stereo...it just takes over my entire being and takes me to another place. I saw the Scorpions live in Munich in the late 80's. Seriously amazing, one of my favorite memories of all times.

As I was cleaning windows, playing Winds Of Change, a little old lady asked me to write down name of band and song. I told her, this is one of their slow songs, they are a rock band. She said, she would buy CD, for that song alone. So awesome.

Two of the things that help make this song great
The delayed payoff, the hook doesn't hit until right near the end
And the constant change, each verse and pre-chorus change in dynamics from the previous creating an emotional build. Great subtle changes for a big payoff.
The Scorpions are a great, high energy band with a large song catalog. An interesting fact about the band: their first album that was recorded in English was sung using phonetics because Klaus did not know English at the time.

Really, so he doesn't even know englush when he's singing in the first album, sure I can hear accent in his voice (which I have zero problems with, just gives character) but I wouldn't have guessed that he didn't speak english even from the older songs.
Scorpions was the first rock band I heard for the first time in my life in the late 80s. They were so popular in Europe that they sounded from every iron.
I had the chance to see them once at an outdoor venue. The singer sounds just as good, if not better, live and the band is tight. No misteps, no mis tunings. They came on stage and did their thing like professionals. It was an awesome show.
They STILL rock today (they're on tour now) just like they did in the 80's. Klaus voice is the best. You're going to love everything you hear by The Scorpions. 😀
This song takes me wayyyyyy back to the first time I had my heart broken, and as I left her house for the final time this song came on the radio .. it will forever bring me back to that time of my life .. thanks for a wonderful reaction to an incredible song!!
My hubby and I were lucky enough to be in 2nd row when then came to perform in Orlando in the early 90’s. I’m 51 now and still jamming to them. Best concert ever!✌️💜🎶

I still get goosebumps listening to this song and I’ve heard it thousands of times. Scorpions are such a gem, and they should’ve been even bigger than they were.
This is a master class in what a “power ballad/power anthem” should be.
Scorpions Winds of Change about the fall of the Soviet Unions and listen to him whistle it is amazing. I saw them live in 2000 they were really good
Some people claim the whistling on the record was done by Ilse Werner, she was THE go-to artist for that.
This has been 'officially' denied, I think ...but who knows.
Something I recently learned about this song and that is this song since the 1970s was banned from France. The people fell in such love with the song that it created a baby boom in France to the point they had a massive population boost in 2 years, so to prevent catastrophic birth increase the song received a life-time ban.

Most rock and heavy metal singers have amazing strong voices. They need a powerful voice that doesn't get drowned by all the heavy instruments in their songs.
I saw these guys in concert not too long ago and he still sounds amazing, in fact, he hit notes I did not know he could do. Honestly I thought he sounded better live than in concert. Just amazing. One of the few bands I would see live again. Just awesome.

Their ballads or slow rock includes Always Somewhere, When the Smoke is Going Down, Holiday, Lady Starlight, and You Give Me All I Need. Every song a new musical experience vocal and instrumental wise. Awesome reaxion. Tnx for sharing.

I remember watching an tv interview video clip sometime in the early 2000’s and the topic was that the band was about to head out on a final tour , before retiring. But come 2022, they have not retired and have released another studio album.
It took 6 years to get this on an album because none of the producers thought it was good enough!!! Stupid choice!!!! They learned in the end!!🤘🤘🤘🎶🎼🎵🎤🎸🥁🎹🎙 And at 70 years, he still sounds the same!!! Killer voice!!!💜💜💜 I highly recommend "When You Came Into My Life"!!!!
Klaus Meine still performs too. He’s 74 and still sounds fantastic live. A couple years ago when he was 67 he sounded identical to the studio sound

The first time I heard this song I was a tough young buck. This song had tears rolling down my face it broke me , this is the best rock ballad love song ever written and performed

Greatest elf with a voice
They are one of the most incredible bands I have ever witnessed live in my entire life and I have been going to concerts since I was 11 years old. I’m now in my mid-50s and have seen Scorpions at least nine times. They never cease to amaze me even to this day. We just saw them in April in Las Vegas and they were just as good now as they were back then. Timeless.
Klaus Meine's voice is absolutely incredible and one of the most talented amazing voices ever. Beyond Belief. 🤩
I LOVE the Scorpions. They are one of, if not the best live rock band I have ever heard and I have been to a LOT of concerts. They have COUNTLESS amazing songs.
My last concert night after my best friend got killed in a horrible wreck. At the end of my grandmas driveway i already got tix for me and him and my gf at the time i knew he wanted us to go we did almost all together no not that alice cooper was opener best concert ever. Even with all the bad mojo I was almost 30 am 55 never regreted that being last of 80+

I've seen them live twice. Amazingly tight band. My favourite quote from the singer was back when he had to have metal plates put in his vocal box. "Ja, they are actually razor blades."
His ability to change range and times is amazing.
Saw them on their first leg of the "Wind of Change" Tour in Brussels, Belgium in early 90's. They sound just like their albums on stage live.

There used to be lighters at concerts and it was amazing. Thousands of people jamming to the band with thousands of warm lights throughout the crowd. It’s an atmosphere that cellphone lights will never match. Too bad it’s a thing of the past.

They are the best band I have ever seen live and i seen a few going back to1979. At 1988's Monsters of Rock, they had such a clean sound and the talent really showed. They have the best Live albums if you find them. They are up there with Iron Maiden's Live albums.

I went to what imo was the greatest rock concert ever. It was in Germany. The concert was called monsters of rock and included the scorpions, deep purple, Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Metallica, and another big name band that escapes me right now but it was 5 hours of exactly what you see here. Everyone was drunk so a little sparkler burn didn’t bother anyone. lol.

Oh yeah, this Scorpions song was HUGE in my youth 14-16yrs old. Those slower songs that we went to pick a girl to dance in a soda pop disco's. Lol. Aah, to be young again. I'd go to my 19-20's back in 1998-99.
