Thanks for the tip. Since I was playing Enlisted which is actually a bit difficult since you bolt action in a rush and improved somehow on how to target on the enemy.
After watching this video, it really changed the way I flicked. I've been doing it wrong for months which kept giving me inconsistent scores. So I just want to add to it a bit: A common mistake that people make including myself is either fluidly aiming to the target, like Kovaaks mentioned or flicking close to the target then making micro corrections. This would be wrong because it splits the flick into two moves. Flicking should be done in only one move. This means you are undershooting the target. It might be better to overshoot the target by a bit when deadstopping. The key here is TIME YOUR CLICK as you pass over your target. As you get more used to the movement, try to deadstop right on target. This is how I learned.
I’ve been doing some research on flicks over the last month or so, and I really wish I’d come across this video before that, I thought I was subbed but apparently I wasn’t, which has now been amended ;) I was having lots of difficulty with flicking with the arm, as well as understanding what sensations I should feel. I tried to be relaxed while flicking which although it seems like you shouldn’t be overly tense, almost all of my flicks ended with a sort of ‘rubber band’ motion where I finish the flick and it moves back and forth a little bit before coming to a halt. And that thing about randomly flicking with semi auto weapons was spot on.
I kept wonder what this term "flicking" was... I thought it was some kind of advanced technique I never learned about before. Turns out it is just what I do already.
hey kovaaks! id really like for you to make an aim down sight (ads) option in the main settings, ive been having to manually put in my ads and the way it is currently set in the weapons tab of settings + certain scenarios disable it and it overall way to complicated and i feel like in the "main settings, where your normal "hipfire", there should be a "ads sens that uses cm/360 scale" so that if you know what sens your ads is in you can put it in there and there would be no need for a game slider of your choice. lots of scenarios wont let you use ads or have it disable so whats the point in even having it the weird way it is.
I started using your aim training thing and I’m hoping to be a lot better by the next 30 days I’ve been trying to do it for 30 min to an hour each day before I get on or do you suggest doing it for longer period of time? I do it 30 min to an hour due to me having a job having to walk my dog it takes a while before I get on sometimes
your videos make me consider turning my sense up I hear you refer to medium/ slow sense being around the 25cm to 50 cm mark and I play like 70.2cm/360 and hitting medium to larger flicks it’s very hard sometimes but I play valaprant so it’s not always necessary to do that
Hey Kovaak! I have a quick question. No matter which scenario I do, I always find myself that flicking is not my strong suit. The flick scenarios that were recommended to me aren't that helpful as they seem way more advanced than my level. What scenarios should I do or what am I missing to hit those shots? It's like I can't even progress anymore.
Late comment but this advice helped me a lot. Dont compare yourself to either others or the end goal of an exercise, you have to just let go of any idea that you're even halfway decent and focus on the action individually when practicing, regardless of the scenario's difficulty. You have to hit consistently before you can hit fast! Break it down into the smallest pieces like a square root
why my large flicks are better than my short flicks? I've training flicks for a couple weeks and don't get better, which train can I do to get my short flicks better?
My reaction time is so bad 😢 , i was pretty mich him when he was saying how sometimes shooting with a semi-auto can look wild and he kept missing the target. That's me all the way 😅. So ur not supppsed to look at the cross hair, u look at the target, and try to use ur peripheral vision to maintain vision of the crosshair to lineup with the target?
Desacelerem o vídeo e observem o movimento do flick+click, vocês finalmente entenderão. É como o funcionamento de um motor, os pistoes subindo e descendo em camera lenta sao mais faceis de compreender.
Even with taking into account the lack of sync between your hand and screen still there are movement that do not coincide with what you do… repeat this but try to properly sync both video… it is easy…

i use the extra large artisan hien, best control pad on the market hands down to the point where other companies try to make clones of that exact pad but theyre a tad bit pricey in the 50 -75 dollar range i believe. if youre looking for a sped pad i would go with the artisian shidenkai. i bought my first hien two years ago swapping from the glorious pad which covered my entire desk and swapping that to a small X-SOFT Hien and it was night and day. i noticed my tacking and "flicking" improve the same day because it allows so much more control with the coating they put over their cloth pad. I'm 5'9 and can rest my entire forearm on the Large hien and its dimensions are 42 x 33 inches.

Please tell me. Why would we need to practice aim trainer where almost all cross platform games as like Fortnite and many popular uses auto aim for gamepaders. These scums on console (or with software) they even dont aim at full meaning. And all damage registering even if they miss as we see on winner screen they dont even hit the body of opponent... So whats the point of it?
