- Dehancer approached me to review their film emulation colour grading plugin. I was happy to because I had already used it for my short film Tundra.
/ @dehancer can be used as a colour grading tool or as the final film look effect. Using it on my work made people think I shot on actual film stock!

Alex, thanks for your review! We are happy to answer any questions 😃
Thanks for having me review Dehancer! I was happy to since it's something I already used and really enjoyed!
Good job! I plan to buy Dehancer soon. I use vintage prime lenses for cinema as well. I like the Canon FD 24mm f2.8 I bought new in 1973, plus the Canon FL 58mm f1.2.
Thank you! Amazing, I'm working on building out a Canon FD set right now, just need an 85mm to round mine out! And when you buy Dehancer please consider using my code HOFF10 ;)
7:10 fkn hilarious 😂 good job
Hahaha, glad you liked it 😂
It’s like you’ve been reading my diary, or looking at my letters to Santa. Excellent video again answering lots of questions I’ve had for decades,
Haha awesome, so glad to hear that!! Thanks.
Fantastic man. Been looking at Dehancer for a while.
I really like it! The grain most of all.
nice..subscribed
Awesome!! Thanks!
Very good work! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!!
People love this look but camera manufacturer don't. We still don't have a major company producing digital cameras where we can get film look straight out of the camera. Still to much postproduction is involved even in ARRI footage.
You should check out the Digital Bolex. Looks like film right out of the camera!
Great Video. Please keep them coming. Subscribed!
Thanks so much! I have more on the way!
So nice! Really inspiring😊
Thank you!
Great video! I have a similar eq/workflow. What quality did you land on for the assimilate dng export? 3:1 Lossy seems to be recommended.
Thanks! I actually went with 12-bit Lossy 4:1; I followed this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/TW4IVjbgVck/v-deo.html
Good job man!
Thank you!
whay kind of Nikon lenses did you use?
This Nikkor AI-S set my grandfather gave me! ua-cam.com/video/HUbyy0JsOAw/v-deo.htmlsi=9qyTXhYUDMeCBBLZ
@@VietinghoffAlex wow this is so awesome 😭 I only started my collection and I have Voigtlander 58mm 1.4, Tokina 100mm 2.8 macro and Nikon 28mm 2.8 AI-S
@@quite1enough Very nice!! If you add in the NIkkor AI-S 35mm and an 85mm you'll be covered for most focal lengths you'd need!
it's a $400 LUT generator
It's way more than that. Did you watch the video?
still looks like digital color grading, I'm sorry.
All that talking sounds over scripted like a cars sales men trying to sell a lemon...
Haha it's all my honest opinion! I wrote it myself with no review from Dehancer. Like I said, I already used and enjoyed it before they ever approached me for a review.
