Thank for simplifying the most important information about the car. It took me days to do research on the information you gave in 6 minutes. Great video!
Excellent video. Just picked up a rental Grand Cherokee hybrid. I drive a 25-year-old vehicle, don't have a clue how to operate this hybrid. Your video was very helpful thank you.
I find the regen useless, but the e-save charge is cool, but iff your in the charge mode and you reach 100% will the engine auto turn off for battery only?
I think I know what it is you're talking about. I noticed that the selection will "dance" back and forth while it makes the change. Did you notice the same, or did it remain in Battery Charge mode?
So with the max regeneration, you are probably not using your brakes much because the car is already doing most of the work for you….hmm that might be savings. Not sure yet
This is true. For regular driving it will save greatly on your brakes. I have to say that Max Regeneration does not replace your participation in emergency braking situations.

I’m in the same situation as your brother, great video, thorough explanation. Thank you.

Terrific job; nicely explained, in an easy to understand way! 👍
Has anyone said that you look like Bill Belichick?
How do I charge my 2024 summit reserve with a dead battery?

Very clear explanation !! Thanks !! Phil
Just a heads up, This does not work on the older 4xe infotainment systems. There simply is not the option.
My jeep got stuck in battery charge mode and when I try to switch back to battery save it won't stay. Reverts back to charge mode. 🤷♀️

Can you charge the vehicle with a level 2 charger while on and in park ?
Yes, I have done just that while going through new vehicle orientation with my customers.
