I'm surprised you think it's expensive. It's a ton of value for the money considering it's not a "AWD".. it's a true off road machine that even has sway bar disconnect on the trailhawk and air suspension higher trims. MSRP is one thing what they actually sell for is another. Also Towing capacity is a consideration for people.
I have the 2024 4xE Anniversary Edition. With the electric motor, it's gonna cost a little more. I traded in my 2011 V8 GC Limited. With rebates and my state's rebates, the cost of the vehicle came down to about $50K for it. I typically get around 27 miles with electric range, but I have regenerative braking on, so the vehicle recharges itself when I'm on the highway (I mostly drive on the highway). I also use cruise control a lot on my drive. This has recharged my vehicle to max on my drives to and from work and as such has saved me a lot on gas. I average around 31mpg on the highway and in town, I'm strictly on electric. I also have a 2013 VW Jetta TDI also. I'm able to get around 46 mpg on the highway and 33 mpg in town, with a gas tank range of around 525 miles. The 4xe gets about equivalent range on one tank of gas to my TDI.
You are missing the point of a jeep grand Cherokee 4xe. I drive my overland off road on forest roads in BC there is no way a bmw could handle! Also the adaptive air suspension is excellent and smooth. It can also raise or lower the ride hight. If you plan on even mild off roading I would recommend it but might want to get extended warranty.
Ethereal sound huh? I rented this car for three weeks. After a week I was ready to pluck every hair out of my body from the constant “humming” which can’t be turned off btw?? Super annoying feature! Aside from that this model is extremely hard to handle it doesn’t have enough user features for controls and yes it’s way too expensive for what it has or doesn’t? I’m a Jeep enthusiast. I’m on my 5th Jeep of different models/trims but this 4 X e is garbage!! 👎
Grand Cherokee Hybrid! Excellent video Steven 👍🏼
Very nice
Thanks for a great review as always.
love my 4XE

So strange: I drove a white 2024 4xe as a rental with the license plate 9LQH702 in California, just off by the last 2 numbers as this one!

The BMW and the Jeep both use the ZF 8 speed transmission. The transmission has a learning period then gets much smoother.
if i dont charge electrik battery i can drive on gasoline and hybrid?
Yep exactly, it’ll function just like a normal hybrid vehicle would!
Taylor Swift on your CarPlay! LOL
