Plus the constant profanity got on my last nerve .he would be like im sorry im sorry but still do it . especially if his brother was around .it was just neverending nonsense.... I tried to warn him that I didn't appreciate him always telling everything and he would say ok ok I'll stop .finally when he told something that was a financial transaction with his sister trying to help me in a big way I was just like wow he is never going to stop running his mouth I just became so turned off ...been gone since 2022 .he tried to say when his sister died that I can come over sometime I was like nope to myself .and now he is pouting .and he is 68 yrs old with that mess .

    I left due to emotionally abusive mind games but was persuaded back to the place by others. We talked and I went back on a much more boundaried basis. The narc couldn’t handle it so after a while I was ready to leave again. The narc spent the last two weeks being kind, friendly, respectful and inclusive. I found it somewhat nauseating because it meant they knew exactly what they were doing.
    Left. No contact. Never looked back.

    • @WithAnEss
      @WithAnEss 6 місяців тому

      Same, except the last two weeks he was more abusive, until the day I left.
      I was a weird mix of baiting, to induce anger.. then he attempted to gain my empathy by explaining himself a victim,
      By this time I stayed over night in hotels, 2 or 3 times.
      To practice leaving...
      Finally I made the decision to leave the narcissist alone.
      I am no longer supply for him.

    I was The Narcissist’s “perfect supply” for over 3 1/2 years. When we entered our romantic relationship I was very young and naive, he was older (my senior by 6 years, me being underaged) and he knew exactly what he was doing. When I decided to leave him, I saw how desperate he truly was. Watching your videos, The Narcissist has hit nearly every checkpoint on the list. This information is helping me untangle the trauma and give me an explanation for it all as I heal myself. Thank you so much for making these videos.

    Joe, I think your videos are among the best on UA-cam for a number of reasons. They’re not sensationalist, and you pay much more attention to the more subtle and insidious aspects of being with a narcissist. I’ve been in this game of almost leaving and being pulled back in for months now. As soon as they think they’ve got you safely back in your box, they drop the facade and once again I’d go back to feeling shut out and pushed away. They never actually wanted me in any form, they just didn’t want me to be the one to go.

    Narc was wholly dependent on me. But she just could not resist herself and pushed me too far. I invited her to leave my home. She didn't take that well. IF she had supply lined up, he got cold feet and she was left alone. It took her a few months to find weak-sauce supply, a guy she could move in with quickly but he isn't able to provide the lifestyle she enjoyed with me. There was a time that if only she had only apologized I'd have forgiven her and taken her back. But her pride is way too strong, she'd rather die than admit fault. She did try to hoover about a year later- it was probably more of a feeler to see if I was open to a hoover, but I rejected it. Lucky for me she waited too long and I was already well into my healing journey.

I research this for two years and figured him out, you should do them same. Joe, I just love listening to your truth. Yes. The more that you study, the more that you think to yourself that it is genetic. That some genes are turned on or remain off causing the variety of the spectrum.
      Anytime that you see your narcissist as hurtful, deliberate or bully or sadistic, you will know that they are also psychopaths too which is essentially what anti-social personality disorder is.
      There’s so many names and types of them that I just refer to them as narcissist/ psychopaths. I type the whole term out like that. Psychologists, here on UA-cam, just call them, narcissist even though that is not the kind that most of us are complaining about but they do that for simplicity. Narcissist is now an umbrella term.
      Also, “ empath “ is a science fiction character from a 1956 book called, the empath. This character had telepathic ability to sense, to know exactly, a person’s emotions. That’s impossible. People still believe in this and they go around thinking that they can sense someone’s emotions telepathically. That’s nonsense but psychopaths can read people very well. So well, it probably feels like they know their prey, keep that one in mind, folks!
      Sam Vaknin has videos on empaths being narcissistic. It’s not the same thing as Narcissistic personality disorder but their narcissism is thick; same with Borderlines.
      If you study Borderlines, you will grasp the cluster B characteristics really quick. Study, histrionic, avoidant and schizoid after. Some of these cluster B’s mix and match. Some Borderlines are half and half of Borderline plus Narcissist/psychopaths.

    • @emmamonroe3311
      @emmamonroe3311 Рік тому +1

      @@bonnielee316 yes I have also read about sadism and also cluster B. Both of those seem to be secretively like my ex. I feel the same thing about empaths, that’s interesting where that comes from. I agree with you on that vocab. Just becuz you are a caring person and can feel sorry for people when they tell you about their pain doesn’t click with me with that word. That’s an interesting read, thank you. One thing I wanna note is I read about psychopaths and sociopaths and what I read was psychopaths are born that way and sociopaths it’s from abuse and neglect in childhood. Narcissistic people that you are in a relationship with will never tell you that. They leave it simple by saying I had a good childhood with nothing else to say about it. All this is starting to come together thank you for your input.😊❤️👍🏻

      I wouldn't make eye contact. I understand the comment about not letting them think they've ground you down. However, I think you're forgetting that narcissists are about supply which equals attention. Positive or negative it's still attention. It's like little kids. " Made you look"!!! I wouldn't give him the satisfaction. Plus it will affect your composure. He's going to be sitting there the WHOLE time fixated on you. Dying for you to look at him. He's probably practicing and having conversations with himself about looks He's going to give you. DON'T GIVE HIM ANY SUPPLY. The best way to hurt him, remember, is to ignore him. Of course, I'm no expert. But I was raised by a Narcissist father. I was the only one who could get him to do anything, and I was the only one who went no contact and stuck to it.

      Why not make eye contact??? I would suggest watching animal planet and learning how to out predator the predator. Make eye contact, look stearn and disgusted and keep saying in your head, if you come anywhere near me, it will be your Last day. Give off an aura of being deadly. But that's just my suggestion, also Pray and ask for clarity in how to move. But show no fear to something that bleeds that same as you.

      Lol, mine is back living with his mum too even though he has a house, it sits empty. I always said to him you need a mummy, not a wife, he's 56.

    But it must be easier for female narcissist to get supply then it is for a male narcissist, (in general). We have to make that distinction.
