I picked a type II jacket made by Levi´s from the LVC collection made in Japan. Let´s see why.
This is not sponsored. All garments are bought with my own money.

Perfect video, super complete and informative ! Excellent review
Looking forward to the next video with shrinkage …
Thank you!! Is coming soon
Please post video on how to shrink/wash, I have the exact same jacket an I’ve never had to shrink a denim jacket before. I’m afraid I’ll mess up this beautiful jacket😬
I will do it 👍👍👍👍!!
Its much better if it had two sides hand pockets where we can put our hands inside sometimes.
Most people like hand-warm pockets. Personally, I prefer without. 👍👍👍👍
Keep the large. You know how to wash cold to avoid a lot of shrinkage. Plus, you’ll want to wear it as much as possible before washing and you don’t need to wash a denim jacket nearly as much as jeans. That’s my opinion at least. Although the T-back is pretty dope
I was thinking the same, keeping the L. Even with the soaking/washing, the shrinkage will not be enough to make it fit that I like it. Still, I have 60 days to return one of the jackets. 👍👍
I have the same jacket, I thought I was to wash b4 wearing. Should I wear it for awhile b4 the first wash??
@@ExtraCheese666 up to you. Some people like to wash/soak their unsanforized denim once they get it. Personally, I wear em raw for a good few months, then do a cold soak. It can be finicky and your milage may vary, but I’ve been able to shrink and expand unsanforized jeans based on how I want them to fit. Hope that helps
@@ExtraCheese666 If you like how it fits, wear it dry, and when the time comes, you can wash it. But if you think it is too big for you, wash it to get shrinkage. I will wash mine to record a video and help viewers with the results.
I prefer the type 1 personally cause of the buckle on the back
Type 1 is an underrated model, in my opinion. I like the style, and looks so different and so cool
I’d keep the large and not wash it, at least for a long time. If you always have on an undershirt there really isn’t much need to wash (just spot treat as needed). If you really need to wash it, it looks like it would still fit even with some shrinkage. Great video, I like how detailed you were!
Hi!! Thanks for watching, It is a good point, I'm still making my mind 🤔
I got mine in size S for the cropped look. Looks fantastic and fits well because it's a boxy pattern. I normally wear a M. For a raw jacket I would get a L and shrinking it, BUT in this very specific case, I downsized. I plan on wearing it raw...never washing it. Letting it get stinky and dirty. Otherwise I'd be screwed with a Small.
Can we see some of the stuff you wear on a daily basis? Stuff that's faded and has some stories? I think those would make for better reviews.
Hi!! Thanks for watching!! Wear raw is another option instead of soaking or washing. In the future, I can post videos with the Evo and fades of some of my clothing👍👍👍
Nice Jacket Diego, id have to go XL and hope it didnt shrink to much. Where did you get them from? Ive just bought an IH 526Lod jacket, but another wouldnt go a miss.
I have bought it from Levi’s UK website. Nice jacket the IH congrats!!!!!
Great video!
Two questions maybe I missed it but could you comment on the Origin of manufacture? Also what is the pit to pit measurement of the L? I didn’t see that you measured P2P for the large. Thanks.
Hi. Thanks for watching. It is entirely Japan Made and P2P in L size is 23 inches
@@UrbanLadUK thanks so much for the reply!
Hi! I just received my size M. It’s too small and I anticipate after a shrink it will be no good. Let me know if you return the Large and I’ll jump on buying it from Levi’s. Thanks!
You’re right, it is an amazing jacket totally worth it.
Hi there, just got mysefl size S. Which size have you kept? L indeed seems perfect for you. Have you soaked it? How much did it shrink?
HI!!! I keep both, I soaked the XL and fit perfect after shrink, there are two options or wear dry or soaked, if you soaked need to size up.
You should post a video shrinking it
Yes, I'll do it when I return from holidays, it is the next video!!!
Hi There ! great Videos came across them recently where did you source them from and another question did You already sent back the large jacket ?
I buy it from Bears Japan and Levi’s UK. I have sold the large sorry
hi Diego !!!!
yes thats what I thought I couldn't find any available here in the UK almost went for Sugar Cane after finding out that one of websites in Japan has sold out 42 as well but then in the end i found one on other website HINOYA . Thanks again !
Hinoya and Denimio are good places to buy Japanese selvedge denim
Are they still available for purchase
On the US website of Levi’s or Hinoya website, there are other places, but the price tag is a little bit higher
@@UrbanLadUK I’m in the US that’s why i was inquiring about it, but i appreciate greatly.
Yes..but how tall are you??!
184 cm
How much is that in real money??
@@UrbanLadUK
😂😂 6 feet
I got one this week and it's not Made in Japan, but in Bulgaria.. very disappointed. I will return it.
Yes, be careful Levi’s sometimes misleading with the information that they provide, that happened to me, in the end, I bought the jacket in Bears Japan and Hinoya, it was an affordable price and had no problem with import tax
Original Type Two has a single pocket. Not sure what this is.
This model is from 1953 and is very faithful, to my knowledge type I have 1 pocket 🤔
Thats the type 1 mate
Bring baseball to Japan, they play it better.
Bring cars to Japan, they make it better.
Bring Levi's to Japan, they make it better.
Very true!!!
the lvc jackets just dont look as good as the japanese brands like warehouse, I think ill get my type i from warehouse, from pictures and your video, it looks plastic and fake
Thank you for watching!! The LVC jackets are RAW and unsanforized, that´s why have that look, but after wearing and washing has the same look, some of the japanese brands use heavier denim that contribute to the look too.
