There are a lot of foreigners that attend America universities and colleges and received the same training and some received better training than America athletes. So, just because someone is an American doesn't mean that person(s) are privileged.
If African athletes get a quarter of privilege American atheletes get then they would be at the level of competing with USA and Jamaica for medals on a consistent basis. But world records are another matter, they're less dependant on privilege and more on genetics and freakish ability. Just look at the record holders of the 100m and 400m Usain Bolt and Wayde van Niekerk. Jamaican and South African athletes are nowhere near as privileged as American but were still able to produce world record athletes.

There are a lot of foreigners that attend America universities and colleges and received the same training and some received better training than America athletes. So, just because someone is an American doesn't mean that person(s) are privileged.
If African athletes get a quarter of privilege American atheletes get then they would be at the level of competing with USA and Jamaica for medals on a consistent basis. But world records are another matter, they're less dependant on privilege and more on genetics and freakish ability. Just look at the record holders of the 100m and 400m Usain Bolt and Wayde van Niekerk. Jamaican and South African athletes are nowhere near as privileged as American but were still able to produce world record athletes.

I’m happy for Tebogo and I’m proud of Noah. Noah brings excitement to the sport. He talks big but he runs with his heart and does his best , especially on the teams. For the most part , he’s consistent. Noah is one of the US “Go to Guy. There’s a lot of talent in the US but some of them choke when under pressure. Others don’t want the responsibility and hide when it’s time to show and prove. He’s carries a lot on his shoulder. He got the Bronze and still on the podium. He’s worst is still better than most sprinters best.
At this level it is talent, prep, training, coaching, hydration, stretching, diet, warm ups, rest and recovery between events. In other words, everything needs to go right for one to win.
