This is an absolutely beautiful body butter. I make and sell mine too. Our tecipes are very similar. The only diffrence is I add a touch of cetyl alcohol to mine and that is to further nourish the skin and prevent melting in transit to my customers. I feel this is very close to perfect body butter consistency as you can get. I love supporting other makers! I wouldn't hesitate to buy this it looks gorgeous and thr ingredients you use are the best and very nourishing to the skin. Excellent quality!

I am starting my body butter business as well. I do honestly do appreciate you showing us your recipe. It does help me figure out how I want the texture of mine but I like mine to be fluffy and a lil bouncy. I mix it til it looks like cake frosting and I freeze it til it's almost solidified. Yeah, I get the chucks and its hard to get rid of sometimes but I am still learning as I go LOL. But your video gave me confirmation that I am doing everything right even tho I barely watched videos on how to make it. I was winging it. As I grow I'll use more oils but I'm sticking with the basics for now as researching every oil I am considering so I'll know what is best for the skin and how to explain the benefits to my customers. So far I have 2 customers and I am not even legit yet! But anyway, thank you for this! It's much appreciated and good luck to you on your business!! Your body butter looks really amazing.

Not for me 🙁. I work with grams and percentages (the methods that are used by professional formulators).
Plus, depending on the liquid oils you decide to choose, some can be heat sensitive (which means that they should be added to the "cool down phase" under 40 degrees (Celsius) in order to retain their nourishing benefits. So please research the liquid oils you decide to use to see whether or not they're heat resistant
Vitamin e oil acts as an antioxidant and should definitely be used at the cool down phase otherwise it'll lose its ability to be an antioxidant

It depends on your butter to oil ratio. If you have a higher percentage of butters in your recipe than oils then it will be more dense and stiff. Also since you used coconut oil, technically it’s a soft oil and not liquid so keep that in mind too cause coconut oil does harden/solidify when it’s in a cooled temp
