Fantastic!!!! I made strawberry butter last month using your products. I am getting ready to order the pastry bag. Great tip with the plastic wrap. Have a wonderful weekend. ❤❤❤❤
This butter looks amazing!! Im going to try it! I have a question plz I will be using this triple butter I found on Amazon its shea, mango. & cocoa all in one so how much of that butter will i need for the entire recipe? Thank u
Hey there, thank you so much! Here's a link to the full recipe where we have included ratios based on the butter being used: bettersheabutter.com/swirled-fruit-loop-body-butter-recipe/ We haven't tested this recipe with the addition of cocoa butter, but it seems like it could work if you used the 50% ratio of butters to oils. Customers tell us with the addition of cocoa butter it adds a bit more firmness to the butter and that a little more oil helps counteract this.
@@BetterSheaButter thanks so much for replying! :) i have been having trouble finding some that are more vibrant like these, so ill definitely check this out. :)
That's a good question! It would most likely depend on the weather conditions for the duration of the trip. We haven't tested this out, but customers have mentioned they like adding wax to the formula to give it more firmness
Great question, it will harden a bit because it's made with totally natural ingredients, but should still be soft and easy to spread on skin. Formulas without water are usually good for up to 6 months if stored away from excessive heat or moisture.
If it doesn’t contain water, such as a fragrance oil, that would work. But any water containing product mixed with a butter recipe would need an emulsifier to blend it and also a preservative because it may encourage the growth of microbes
If you want to mix shea and cocoa butters, customers typically like to use the mango ratio (60/40) for that since it is in between the shea and cocoa ratios I found this article that details how to do recipe conversions, it seems like a good basic tutorial: ecampusontario.pressbooks.pub/basickitchenandfoodservicemanagement/chapter/convert-and-adjust-recipes-and-formulas/ I hope this helps! Let us know how it goes
Hi Autumn, that's a great question. We haven't tested using them in a butter formulation without water, so I am not sure how they would perform in this recipe.
We use a few brands. Always something that is cosmetic-grade. You can usually find them at craft stores like Michaels, Amazon or other mica specialty shops on Google.

@@Chellybelly_813 I'm sorry that happened to you! I have heard customers mention that in order to combine mica powders to form a different shade, they would separately mix the pigments into batches of butter and then combine the butters. Let us know how it goes either way.
