Using the scrapped redesign for Junkil's equivalent of Spamton's Power of NEO form he takes in his final attack is a really smart way of keeping alive a really cool design. At least, I think that's what its inclusion signifies.
As someone who complains a lot about certain things This is a certified banger and a beautiful love letter and send off to Junkil. Granted we still have a lot more to go but the point is. This is Battle Against The World. This is Junkil REDUX This is Chapter Rewritten
I feel like some of the changes weren’t 100% necessary, but the fact that you guys managed to incorporate The Muppet Show’s theme song INTO BAtW makes up for all of the little issues I have. Even ignoring GOOD MORNING WORLD! and A TRUE HERO!, that melody is the very foundation for most of Junkil’s music (And obviously the design too)

A friend of mine had a really interesting theory. (His theory follows) "I think that if Chapter Rewritten becomes a fully playable fangame (which I believing is happening more and more) then the secret boss fights and the big bads (Kueen and Qing) will have a change in perspective in their fights. In both this video and Kueen's, we've seen the art in a perspective like of what we seen in Scampton's fangame. Plus Scampton had this same perspective (minus the trio's appearance) in his BIG BANG video. Also, we've seen in the Kueen video that Azzy, Noelle, and Charkis all have animations for the battle transition before her battle theme starts playing, this has made me think that the normal fights will have the usual Deltarune's perspective of battling and all these other fights will the third person perspective. Also also, Scampton in his game says 'SCARED OF A LITTLE [Change in perspective]?' And since he should be the first one we battle out of these characters, he would be the first to have this different perspective. (Edit: thanks for clearing this up for me and my friend, that's a really cool concept)
I like how this version of battle against the world embraces a more jevil focused version of the theme without straying too far from the original theme !! I really like this version !!! Great job guys !!!!

From the day I heard this song for the first time in the original version on Winterer Channel, I concluded that I needed this fight. Simply getting my favourite fight from Deltarune and from Undertale and mix it together with a depressive Joker robot thing... Perfect.
I literally only got the notif for the premier starting and not the one for in advance so I legit got jumpscared by the release of two different versions of BAtW on consecutive days.
I'm still not completely sold on the new Junkil voice, even though I completely get why it was changed. That being said, this is a fantastic rendition of the BATW! edit: After having had this song on repeat for multiple hours, the voice (and the song as a whole) has really grown on me
@@MilesHoward-e2d Axniety left the project a while ago, I think some time around when the Chark plushie came out, so Junkil and Chark needed new voice actors. I don’t like the sentiment that new VA = completely new voice, but I can see why they’d want to try something different. The old voice definitely had its problems, even if I and many others personally think the changes were just a bit too extreme. Edit: I wanna come back and add that I DO think the new voice fits very well, I just really liked the old vocals (I think specifically V1 of I CAN YOU CAN managed them very well, they were kinda quiet in V2). Both voices work in different ways, and new one fits Junkil better, but as of right now, I still think the older voice was just a better voice for some reason. It carried energy and was a good part of the song instead of just being a vocal track. (And you can tell I’m right because they still use Axniety’s laugh sample in ICYC V3 for some reason)
This is so AWESOME I love the instruments used and the reharmonization, especially at the dont forget part I do feel like there should be more things like Battle Against a True Hero, especially at 1:34 since that part was directly based off that song. A cover that does this well is BlueLonerWolf's remix of the song, it has a nice mix of Battle Against a True Hero and original additions. I am also little disappointed that the world revolving reference disappeared at 0:42, I loved hearing it used at that section in the original battle against the world, remixes, and also other takes of Jevil BIG SHOTs. However, the new ending is great, I love how "epic" it feels. And, there is another referense to THE WORLD REVOLVING so I guess that makes up for it. Despite my complaints, it's a massive improvement from the original. Awesome job!
I absolute LOVE how the BAATH piano sounds under the Don't Forget section at 0:53, listening to this remaster the first time I didn't think that section hit the mark as well as the original but after listening to it a couple more times I honestly think it sounds just as good
It's because the creator did some less than desirable things like stealing music and touching minors. Honestly, I'd rather them fix it than leave it in controversy.

I wans't a big fan of the original BAATW because how abrupted the final part came in the original song. I knew at the time that the composer was trying to emulate the felling of the ending part of BAATH, but there was no transition at all, so it just sounded weird (for me at least) so when the "final part" of the song of this version came in, i was surprised that i liked it. Not only it sounded better, but also had a better transition than the old one. And then the real final part came in, and i was surprised that you guys decided to add a new part to the song, which was (in my opinion) a greate idea

I think my only complaint with this and "I Can You Can" is that the vocals are SUPER hard to hear for me now. If they were a little clearer, both would be pretty much perfect.

I don't quite like this one as much as the most recent Cover from The Winterer (for those of you reading in the future, I mean the one posted in October of 2024.) The original cover does the intro the best, but the one I'm referring to does almost EVERYTHING perfectly. The chaotic nature of the music, The Leitmotifs from TOWR, and not to mention how clear the lyrics are. Don't get me wrong, I like this version too, but it doesn't quite feel the same. One thing I will praise however: this song is REALLY GOOD at 0:54, with the MOTIF fitting perfectly into the whole thing. Sorry for the essay lol
The only thing that surprised me was that NEITHER used the new Dark Truth leitmotif in Analog V2 or 3 or whichever version it was But still holy cow this is awesome 👍

I'd describe it as... ...All the budget went into the "Lantern" part??? Like seriously, for some strange reason, I feel the rest of the song except perhaps the new section (and the Don't Forget motif MAYBE) doesn't hit as hard in the original but the Lantern motif (I think the impact of the rest of the song went into the Lantern part imo, for some strange reason) (Actually, the more I listen, the more it gets better and also feels like the fate of the world will be decided here lol. The one thing I miss though is the glitching in the original right before the Lantern part, that was cool...)

After this premiered there was a small qna in the discord server and they said that the change of perspective only happens for the secret bosses
the change in perspective for kueen was because it made more sense for the art. the normal boss fight would still be the deltarune perspective

I wans't a big fan of the original BAATW because how abrupted the final part came in the original song. I knew at the time that the composer was trying to emulate the felling of the ending part of BAATH, but there was no transition at all, so it just sounded weird (for me at least) so when the "final part" of the song of this version came in, i was surprised that i liked it. Not only it sounded better, but also had a better transition than the old one.
And then the real final part came in, and i was surprised that you guys decided to add a new part to the song, which was (in my opinion) a greate idea

I think my only complaint with this and "I Can You Can" is that the vocals are SUPER hard to hear for me now. If they were a little clearer, both would be pretty much perfect.
So, like how Spamton wants to be an angel, Junkil wants to be a hero. That’s cool! In this AU, is Gaster still Gaster, or is he replaced by someone else?

F i n a l l y , been waiting for this.
I don't quite like this one as much as the most recent Cover from The Winterer (for those of you reading in the future, I mean the one posted in October of 2024.) The original cover does the intro the best, but the one I'm referring to does almost EVERYTHING perfectly. The chaotic nature of the music, The Leitmotifs from TOWR, and not to mention how clear the lyrics are. Don't get me wrong, I like this version too, but it doesn't quite feel the same. One thing I will praise however: this song is REALLY GOOD at 0:54, with the MOTIF fitting perfectly into the whole thing. Sorry for the essay lol
The only thing that surprised me was that NEITHER used the new Dark Truth leitmotif in Analog V2 or 3 or whichever version it was

Like seriously, for some strange reason, I feel the rest of the song except perhaps the new section (and the Don't Forget motif MAYBE) doesn't hit as hard in the original but the Lantern motif (I think the impact of the rest of the song went into the Lantern part imo, for some strange reason)
(Actually, the more I listen, the more it gets better and also feels like the fate of the world will be decided here lol. The one thing I miss though is the glitching in the original right before the Lantern part, that was cool...)
