You know, I was iffy on this at first, but I think it was because I was expecting it to be similar to the original. But this generally just fits the idea better that Junkil is still a desperate entertainer trying to cling on to the past he's lost for a long time. It doesn't feel like he's trying to gain power and take over like Spamton did. He just hasn't let go and will "do anything" to get it back, even though it's been irreparable far too long.
Like, the song genuinely sounds like a broken, messy performance. Like it's TRYING too hard to grab your attention, almost as if Junkil himself made it in desperation. He's begging you to watch and to help him get back to where he was. It's a very different vibe from how Junkil was originally, and I think it fits super well!

I really loved how you completely changed the intro. In the original and most remixes of Battle Against the World, Junkil rises and he is wrists are restrained by a pair of glowing red rods before his eyes and patterns start to glow. But here it’s different as he rises from the depths his hands are limp before being held up by red sticks, with Junkil looking at one hand at a time with panic in his eyes. He may not like to admit it, but he truly is just another puppet.
This is amazing, Junkle is like, the **icon** of character swaps in the DELTARUNE community. So to see a remix, from the **original creator** no less, is almost poetic in a way. (Also, while I still remember. I don't know if anyone's noticed, but it seems that The Winterer likes to hint at her next song in the credits. And I dunno about you, but that music **awfully reminds me of Grass Skirt Chase** ... 👀💠)
