Unbelievably awesome video. The fact that this does not have over a million views is a demonstration of how asleep the general population is. Give a good speech about living life to the full = millions of views. Actually walking outside and doing it = ? I love you guys' adventures.
Totally agree in everything you said Travis. This is reason to live life and feel alive like a bird in the sky. Amazing video guys! You deserve more than this, smashed the like button 3 times but it didn't help :)
Hi Jonas. Just wanted to say this is a staggering piece of work. I think this film captures the essence of Mountain Biking better than any other. I've watched it many times and it never gets tired due to the amazing location, footage, humour, music and passion that's gone into it. Anyone who loves MTB should see this.
Thank you so much Roger. It means a lot to receive such a comment. Thank you for giving me more inspiration to continue to document trips like these :-)
I accidently saw the video when they went from Slovenia to Swiss. I'm so hyped it's already on the bucket list for next year and a good motivation to really work hard on my stamina and power.
I've done the trip last week, assumm views and massive thanks for your video & the tips! One thing i want to mention: day 2 from Verbier to Lax de Dix = 2hrs riding and 10hrs HIKING It is beautiful, but do it by foot without a bike in your neck! Better go around by Nendace and Hérémence, ie follow the Grand Raid BCVS mountainbike route
Top quality content. When i saw those edits i thought that it had tons of views, such an underrated video ! Good Luck man! Im planning myself to go to Switzerland in April, still deciding either tent or a hotel )
This is somewhere I'd like to ride ! But first I have a solo mission on the Whole Enchilada Trail ! Hopefully I can capture the excitement as well as you have in this!
Så har dere altså gjort det igjen - fantastisk inspirerende film nok en gang! Grattis! (Og hadde aldri forestilt at meg the War on Drugs kunne passe SÅ bra i en actionsekvens - lekkert!)
Amazing video! - with so many variations on the trail it would be great to see the route you took - do you have GPS still available, or even just your rough itinerary so I can work out the trails from the destinations and the passes? - absolutely inspired to ride this route next summer
Hi Jonas. The video is great and it’s inspired me to (want to) have a go, the footage really is great. Any chance you would be willing to share you’re route and any insider tips. Cheers, Chris
Jonas M Thanks for the reply, do you have an email address (or other way of contact) I could use that might be easier? Can’t seem to work the PM through UA-cam, I’m a bit technologically challenged 😂
Incredibly well-done video. I am planning on doing the Haute Route via mountain bike next summer. I have been reading quite a few forums and there seem to be a few different suggestions on the route itself. Would you be willing to post what route you took or link you GPS file somewhere? Just wondering about some route questions like Bovine vs. Arpette and where you stopped after each day. Verbier to Arolla seems like a massive day. I'd love to chat with you some time or email etc. on how to do this trip together. Any links or tips to the route would be hugely appreciated. Amazing job on this by the way, really something to be proud of. The first week of August 2018 seems to be when I'm going to take this one on. Cheers from Aspen, Colorado.
Hi Jay. Thanks for the feedback, highly appreciated :-) About tips for the trip, I will try to help you the best I can. Give me a PM and we can take it from there :-)
I love Colorado, but never been to Aspen, would love to go there. I tried to contact you, but did not work, so just send me a PM and I will help you out with Haute Route :-)
Hey Jonas Great video. Great trip. Did you do classic hiking route on bikes? Im looking forward to do it in 2019. Can you give me any tips about this route you did or any gpx track to follow? Best
Hi Jonas, that is an awesome video ! I am off to Switzerland this August and we have 3 - 4 days on bike parks and 4 days bikepacking, would this be doing able with a full suspension and light weight bikepacking gear 19.5 kgs total weight ? We are starting in Davos making our way back to Geneva, any other suggestions would be great, but well done with the video.
Hi Adam. You can see what we had in our backpacks in the link in the description. There are a lot of hike-a-bike sections, but if you are okay with that, 4 days is enough if your fit and have a steady pace
Amazing video! I'm planning to do a similar trip and I wonder if you could share gps files and suggestions. It looks like youtube has removed private messaging. Thanks.
Hello Hans. Sure, I can help with GPS, but are you certain you can't email me, I get a lot of PMs from other people. Have you tried this: To email someone using the Business Inquiry Email: Go to the UA-cam Channel you want to email. Select the About tab of their channel. If a Business Inquiry Email is provided, select “View Email Address”. If you don’t see a Business Inquiry Email, that means that the channel owner didn’t provide one. Use the email to send a message to the channel.
Hi, I want to do this tour in 2018 and I'm planning to do it right now. Can I get the GPS data from your route. The video is one of the best in You Tube
That's a very inspiring video, had goosebumps with M83 music in the background ! I did a mountain bike tour around mont blanc few years ago and i'd be interested to do the Haute Route this year. Have you shared the GPS track anywhere ? Been trying to send you a PM but can't find any button for that. Thanks again for these amazing views !
fransoa Thanks, the views are really nice! I can help you out, but I am on a MTB trip right now. I will try to contact you when I get back home in about 10 days.
Aha, its my friend who wrote the posts, not me. Just keep in mind what Andreas wrote about the hike-a-bike, one of the days si almost only hike-a-bike.
My friend and I did a Tour du Mont blanc with bikes few years ago so we are keen with the hike-a-bike concept :) This time We plan to start from Verbier, because we already know the first part around Chamonix. Which day are you thinking of ?
Amazing video! My friend and I are riding the 14,000 foot peaks of Colorado. I have been looking for a decent set of bike shoes that works well for that. I have Sidi's, but the sole is so flexible that it hurts when doing extended descents. What shoes do you guys use? Like the ones at 1:33? Thanks. Ride On!
Jonas M I have not. Just checked them out. Looks like a great shoe with stiff sole over the cleat and good traction. Exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks for the tip!
Wow, thanks! The Mavic is correct, needed something small and light. About GR5 or HR, hard to say, they are quite different, you get to ride more on GR5, less hike-a-bike and a little more variety, but the views on HR was phenomenal!
@@JonasMTB ya, plan to follow your route. I thought you guys were staying in Geneva. That means u have to travel back to chamonix to get the carrier then back to geneva airport. Did you guys buy the Swiss travel pass or buy individual train/bus ticket?
@@deoglov1197 Yeah, we took the train back to Chamonix, we did not buy any travel pass., but you might save some money there. The train back was really nice, lots of good views.

Thanks Brian, the views in the Alps are so good!
I wish I could press the like button every time I watch this video. That's realy awesome! Beautiful pictures and great music. thanks a lot!

Sony a6300 and YI 4k+ on a Zhiyun Rider-M gimbal and PP is Cine4 I think.
