Just a small suggestion: When making the bottom of the jar, erase the inner part of the smaller oval before merging the layers. That way you don't have to be as accurate with erasing, and you don't have to worry about messing up the larger oval. This is a good technique for any line art, actually. But, I love the rest of the drawing, I can't wait to do this myself!

Hi Flo, when you was drawing the oval and wanted to make it straight. If you press one finger on the screen while you are holding the shape with the pencil and moving it around. It will lock it in place in incriments of 10° (I believe). I just thought this would be a handy tip to share. Awesome video tutorial by the way!

Liked the idea from the picture in the search list, drawing it made it even nicer. 😁 I made an addition to it by making Santa fly in the jar 🎅🏻 Sounded to me it’s the time of the year you can do that.

Seriously love these. Since I'm only using an iPad 8, whenever I try to add in the "paper" background I'm only able to make 3 layers😅 (total) skipped doing that and used your rustic decay brush and added my own texture to the background (modern problems create modern solutions)😂

I never thought about using the selection tool with a mask like that. Typically I would use the selection tool to duplicate the part of the jar, then use clipping mask. You learn something new everyday 😆
